👍 Had a very nice lynch here while dodging the rain in Positano. Friendly service, fresh pasta, and delicious cypress were served, along with cappuccino and a latte. Small and intimate, great for couples! People often mention pasta, Positano, service,

Elisir di Positano is not merely a dining experience; it's a celestial journey that begins with its stunning cliffside setting, offering breathtaking views that only the Amalfi Coast can provide. As you sit, Positano sprawls before you, a spectacle of beauty, the vast sea extending into the horizon. The service here is as seamless as the panoramic vista, attentive and unobtrusive, a perfect complement to the culinary artistry on display. Each dish, particularly the pasta with seafood, is a symphony of local flavors, fresh, vibrant, and cooked to perfection, a true testament to Italian culinary tradition. Dining at Elisir di Positano is an unforgettable harmony of exquisite tastes, impeccable service, and the unrivaled beauty of Positano.

Food is overpriced and not good. They gave me a draft beer that was less than half full. And they charge a 3€ per person cover charge. Service is lackluster and slow. Only thing that was good was the fries. Prices on the menu are not clearly marked. A lemonade for a child was 7 euro.

Average, wouldn't recommend the food, very pricey, and not fresh. View is nice, but limited outside seating. Bread not good. Cover charge was €4 euros....avoid!

We ordered two main courses (raviolis and pasta). When (and only when) my husband got his pasta, the waiter said that they are out of raviolis so I asked for the same pasta as my husband (which was very mediocre, by the way). After 1h30 and multiple times asking the waiter about my dish I had to leave the restaurant hungry because I still got no food and it’s not possible to wait for a pasta for that long. Penne could be cooked in under 15min. A neighbor table of two didn’t get any food for 1h30 too. Just ridiculous! I think they have a big problem of communication between the service and the kitchen. But I got no excuse or commercial gesture when I was leaving and we still payed 40€ for 1 pasta, 2 glasses of home wine and water.

Smallest and flatest piece of Parmigiana that i received so far on the amalfi coast and that for 18Euros! Taste was very good but the size vs. price.... I don't normally comment on the portion size in restaurants as i don't need much to get my stomach happy but this was just too striking!

Our daily walk was wonderfully broken half with a lunch at this delightful restaurant - our waitress was kind, friendly and attentive, and at her recommendation I experienced their pasta with clams - oh, my! These were, bar none, the BEST clams I have ever had! Perfect cup of coffee and tiramisu completed our meal and we left, with every intention of returning our next time around. :)

It was November in Amalfi so pickings were slim to none. Had 4 simple sandwiches, one pasta, 2 cokes, and a bottled water. The tab came to 90+€. I'd be somewhat okay with it but the food was just so-so. I wouldn't go back.

My partner and I stopped in on our way back to our Airbnb for a snack and a drink, so happy we did! We got some hot fries, a panini and two yummy cherry spritz smoothies, the service was so lovely and friendly! Thank you to the kind man with the glasses and the lovely woman at the counter 😊

Such a great seafood dinner, great portions and fair prices. One of the better places we ate in Positano.

An unforgettable dining experience! The service was impeccable, exuding warmth and hospitality. The cocktails were a masterpiece, and the pasta was simply divine. This restaurant is a gem for any food enthusiast. Already looking forward to my next visit!

Pretty sure we got food poisoning from this place… the pasta was not fresh, the shrimp in it tasted weird, the zucchini was just a mush and it was overall expensive. Our stomachs wish we went somewhere else.
