Still dreaming of our stay here! You will not be disappointed— every detail was perfection. A special shout-out to Liliana… she went above and beyond in her service to us. She booked our beach club, dinner reservations, car transfers, etc. When we checked out she called and said we left our passports in the safe— we were already in amalfi so she had them delivered to our hotel there! Can you believe the service?? It was so so kind. Tony at the pool was so attentive and helpful as well. I also had one of the best massages I’ve ever had at spa and the dinner views were fantastic. You will love it here.

I am still dreaming about the 3 nights that my partner and I stayed here last week. We did so much research before booking, and were so glad that we picked Hotel Poseidon. It truly was a 5 star experience. The room and view were out of this world and the AC was top notch. The breakfast was 10/10 fabulous and had everything that you could've wanted. The staff were the cherry on top - amazingly kind, patient and accommodating. And the views! The breakfast, pool area and bar were right on the cliff and you could see all of Positano and the water - it was magical. We got a room with a balcony and we actually used it this time. We just relaxed and sat out there everyday at some point. This hotel is also on the street so a car can bring you and your luggage right to it. If you take a ferry, it's not terribly hard to climb the stairs. They go straight up to the hotel and only takes about 5 minutes. Overall, I cannot wait to come back and stay with Hotel Poseidon again!

Wow, just wow. From the moment we booked hotel Poseidon to the moment we left we felt so beyond welcomed and truly had a 5 star experience. Prior to booking, the concierge helped my husband and I pick out the perfect room for our honeymoon and booked all the activities and restaurants we were interested in. We booked the sky room and the decor was vintage Italian with the most incredible views of Positano. I could spend all day on our balcony and have the best time! The hotel is pure romance with welcoming vibes. The location is ideal. Close enough to the main shops and port but high enough for the best views. But not TOO high to where your exhausted by the time you walk up to your hotel. The stunning bar, lounge and pool also adds to the incredible experience. I can’t thank the staff at hotel Poseidon enough for the amazing and welcoming experience. I HIGHLY recommend staying here and I hope I can return one day for another beautiful vacation at Hotel Poseidon.

We highly enjoyed our stay at the Hotel Poseidon in Positano in Aug 2023. The property itself is fantastic, however the excellent staff really made our experience special. They asked if we needed help with anything and gave us suggestions on how to move around Positano that were super helpful. We loved the breakfast and pool bar area. Room was spacious and the A/C worked great. Front desk sent us instructions on how to arrive and the benefit of the suitcase porter at the pier. I highly recommend following their advice as it made it easy. Definitely would go back!

Just returned from a 5 night stay at hotel Poseidon and it was simply incredible!!! Staying at the hotel truly felt like home and the level of service felt like a 5 star hotel! While our funny room was a bit small, it had all the necessary amenities and the rooftop balcony was huge and amazing. They were happy to arrange any service for you and did special things like wish us a happy birthday the morning of. The food at the hotel was so good, and we loved having the pool, music, and outdoor patio available when we wanted to enjoy the views, grab a bite, or lay out and relax. Truly a special place with incredible people and service. Can’t wait to return!

The best hotel!! We had a magical 3 night stay here and loved every minute of it! The staff are very nice and accommodating, always helpful with every need. The breakfast is wonderful and we had dinner at the hotel for one of our nights and it was excellent as well! We hope to return again next year.

There are not enough words to explain how perfect our stay was at Hotel Poseidon. The hotel is in the most stunning location with amazing views of the Amalfi Coast. The double superior room has it's own private balcony over looking the sea, where we ate our delicious breakfast each morning. However, aside from that it was really the staff that made our stay truly memorable. From the friendly welcome to the "nothing is too much trouble" attitude from everyone we spoke to, we really couldn't have asked for more. Also, despite the numerous options for eating out in the area, we chose to have our evening meal at the hotel thanks to the lovely waiting staff and the delicious food. Thank. you to everyone for making our stay so perfect!

Hotel Poseidon is one of those places where you immediately feel at home. While the beautiful views are indisputable, what really sets this place apart is the impeccable service and hospitality. Everyone was really welcoming and went above and beyond make sure our honeymoon stay was memorable! From the front desk staff - especially Margo and Giancarlo - who were always helpful to suggest restaurants and activities, to Tony at the pool who made sure everything was taken care of, the bar staff who made amazing cocktails and the team at Il Tridente who ensured every morning was off to a good start with those delicious breakfasts. The room was cozy and had an old world charm to it. As a few of the other reviews have mentioned, the location of the hotel is perfect - especially from an accessibility standpoint. Since the hotel is along the main road, you don’t need to worry about clambering up the steep stairs or lugging your suitcases through narrow alleyways. Lazing by the poolside and our room balcony were definitely the best parts of our Positano trip. Time definitely seemed to go by slower when we were here and we will always have fond memories of our stay in Hotel Poseidon!

My wife and I took a two week honeymoon to Italy with Positano and Hotel Positano as our last stop, and this was the perfect place to end our honeymoon! The service was outstanding. The front desk always went above and beyond when we asked for recommendations or needed travel arrangements to local restaurants. Before our arrival we had already reserved a boat trip to Capri through Hotel Poseidon, and they truly handled everything for us. We simply had to walk down to the pier and had no issues. They made us feel truly valued as guests and it was clear that they would go to great lengths to ensure we enjoyed our stay. To provide another example, right when we arrived we told them we had made a reservation at a restaurant that would require shuttle service. We left for a couple of hours to explore the area and once we returned, they had everything taken care of for us already. The terrace/outdoor area by the pool was our favorite. It offered an unmatched view of Positano no matter where you sat at. Tony, one of the servers by the pool, was fantastic. He and the other servers were always trying to make us as comfortable and relaxed as possible. They would always insist that we sat at the tables with the best views. In addition to the amazing views and service, the Hotel had terrific local musicians perform which created the perfect relaxing and romantic ambiance for the daytime and at night. We spent may afternoons and evenings relaxing on the terrace, enjoying the music, and marveling at the view. The food at La Terrazza was outstanding. Some of our best dishes from our entire Honeymoon were there. If you stay at Hotel Poseidon, be sure to go there at least once or twice! The breakfast there was also one of our favorites . We loved getting our breakfast and an espresso or cappuccino while enjoying the view outside. Our room was clean, cozy, and charming. Our favorite part was the balcony where we could just take in the unbeatable views of Positano. We can't recommend Hotel Positano enough! They really made our visit to Positano unforgettable. We can't wait to come back soon!

We can't say enough good things about this hotel. We booked it last year after reading good reviews online and it really did deliver. They are so accommodating and make you feel at home immediately. The front desk staff was always warm and welcoming. They answered all of our questions and even called a cab for our family when they stopped to visit. Great location and close to everything without having to walk massive hills/steps if you don't want to. We stayed in a junior suite which had an amazing view and we utilized it each day. Bed was so comfortable. They give you the option to have your breakfast delivered to your room which was lovely as well. Housekeepers were so attentive and stopped by each evening to make sure we had what we needed. We highly recommend Il Tridente as well - one of our favorite meals in Positano. When we come back to Positano, we won't be staying anywhere besides Hotel Poseidon. 10/10.
