This place is about as close a place to heaven that exists on earth. Jaw dropping views, clean and comfortable rooms. Exquisite grounds and gardens. The pool area is lovely. Praiano is the perfect location in the Amalfi Coast, away from the glitz and noise of Positano and Amalfi, close to everything. Rent a scooter and you will see everything on the coast easily. They even have public scooter parking across the street. The staff are super nice and accommodating, and give you good advice. What sticks in my mind are the fresh fruits and vegetables served at breakfast straight from their garden. The tomato they served me was warm from the morning's sun. Perfection.

A very special place. Marika was amazing, so friendly, service oriented, and funny. Views are off postcards. Property is gorgeous with working gardens for the kitchen, crystal clear swimming pool, quiet areas. Never more relaxed than here.

Villa Gianlica was pure bliss!! We visited in July, when amalfi and positano was brimming with tourists. To have a beautiful peaceful slice of amalfi coast, Praiano is perfect. And villa gianlica was the best part of it for us.. The views are breathtaking from very part of the property. The rooms were decent sized, bathrooms had the basic necessities and we had a small balcony overlooking the Mediterranean sea. It was a perfect cosy nest for 3 days. The most special part of our stay was the staff who were so helpful, cheerful and no request was too much for them. The food was delicious and highly recommend the zucchini pasta. ( I still dream about it even now!!) Their home made liqueur was also excellent.. would love to go back to Villa Gianlica someday ...:)

Welcome to a peaceful slice of the Amalfi Coast! We just completed a stay here and really enjoyed. Most notable- incredible staff. Thank you Mareka, Thom, Oxana, and everyone else for outstanding service. We truly felt like guests in your homes. You took excellent care of us! The food at the hotel is SO fresh and so flavourful. So many ingredients grown right on the property….a true wow for us!! We stayed in Room 8. Fantastic sunrise views, massive terrace, excellent privacy from other guests. This room is in fact above the breakfast area and kitchen however we did not find any bother from that. Praiano is a small town just a few km’s from Positano and if we ever return to this area, we wouldn’t hesitate to select Praiano again. More than enough restaurants to satisfy nightly dinner options. Quiet. Not overrun with crowds of tourists. Truly peaceful. Spectacular views! Restaurants of high recommendation in Praiano: -have your breakfast or lunches at Villa Gianlica. Dinners: Il Pino (the restaurant will pick you up and drive you back!) La Moressa (walkable)excellent food and incredible views! Go for sunset! Kasai (walkable) delicious food! We loved it! M’ama (walkable)- inside the Margherita Hotel… excellent food, pretty views. Try the millefeuille for dessert. It’s massive!! My only suggestion for improvement for Villa Gianlica would be: -more shade for room 8. The terrace is quite massive and during the peak sun hours, the small umbrella was not very much shade. Thanks again for a memorable stay! We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this hotel to friends or family traveling to the Amalfi region.

A Magical stay at Villa Gianlica! Our stay at Villa Gianlica was an unforgettable experience. Marika, the host, welcomed us with genuine warmth, and the rest of the hotel team making us feel like treasured guests. The rooms exuded elegance and comfort, with an amazing sea view!. The location offered incredible panoramas and it is very close to Amalfi & Positano. We enjoyed our time by the pool, indulging in a perfect blend of relaxation and luxury. Villa Gianlica is a hidden gem, and we can't wait to return for another magical experience. Highly recommended!
