The BEST cicchetti we found in Venice — and we searched! Incredible selection, fresh ingredients, and creative flavor & texture combinations. Plus, the staff are lovely, the location is great, the prices are fair, and the drinks are good. The lines can be long but they move quickly. Well worth the wait, grazie mille!

Awesome cicchetti bar that also has wine. There is really not a bad order here. The wheat bread base is a great texture to go with the toppings and is better bread than usual. Try a mix if seafood and salami toppings. Fair warning that the white sauce on the ham is spicy and will be felt. They even gave seasonal options like a pumpkin cheese. Indoor seating is comfy and standing room is also available. Outside you'll find a concrete canal wall that you can eat on. Fair warning that this place fills fast so arrive early and avoid weekends! Staff is super efficient, speaks English, and accepts credit cards.

The selection of Cicchetti is huge and all are really delicious and super fresh. Nice little seating area inside but also nice to stand outside next to the canal - but beware of seagulls who just wait to steal one of the delicacies. Most of the time there is a crowd of people patiently waiting to get a drink and Cicchetti - it's worth to queue and wait in line as this really is one of the best places.

This is a must if you are in the area. Fantastic small food, great wine choices. Perfect to sit inside or put for an hour. This is not for a meal. Location is spectacular, when we went a fashion shoot was happening so it's a very good looking place to chill.

Best cichetti in Venice - fight me :) (Cichetti are Venetian snacks: small pieces of bread with yummy toppings) A local Venitian recommended this place to me some time ago and we go every time we’re in Venice. This place is special in many ways. First of all, it’s right opposite an open air gondola repair workshop. So, you can watch the workers while enjoying your drink and cichetti right at the canal. Just be mindful of the seagulls! Second, the Cichetti are super tasty. They come in all flavours from truffle cream to all kinds of cheese and fish, topped with caramelised onions, fresh veggies or balsamico cream. Third, Prices are more than fair: Cichetti are the standard 2€ a piece, aperol Spritz is a nice size and costs 3,50€ 8 Cichetti for 2 persons is a good light lunch!

A great place where to try the local appetizer - cichetti. We tried one with tuna and shrimps and both were amazing. The price was somewhere around 2 € a piece. You can sit outside and watch the gondola repair shop and see how men work. Altogether a cool place and the employees are very helpful and can recommend what to try.

Wonderful Osteria in Venezia with great snacks (try the tuna with caramelized onions!), good drinks and nice employees. There are a few seats inside, however it is quite small, so that you might go outside. Wonderful mix of guests of locals and tourists. Will definitely come back here!

It was wonderful trip to Venice. And this place may be the reason why I will want to return to this city again. It’s a true part of Italian soul. There's this casual genius here that creates such cool combinations of flavor. So delicious food. If you’ll have this food outside you can see 17th century boatyard building right across channel. But be careful about seagulls. They can still your food as well. Amazing place. Love it so much!

A nice small Osteria. Some seating is provided inside, while outside more space is available near the canal. On the opposite side of it is the gondola workshop. A very fine choice of cicchetti is available - and for a great price of only 2€! Spritz cost 3,5€. Great place, awesome prices.

Best spritzes in town with a view of the gondola workshop. Some of the ciccheti are worth trying as well. Prices are low due to the location.

Great place!!! With delicious Cicchetti 😍 at a very good price. We have stopped for a quick lunch and were not disappointed! You can also see góndolas being made/fixed from the window! I hope I will have a chance to go back one day 😊

Coming back here every time I'm in Venice is a must now! Great cichetti and Aperol Spritz. Thankfully found seating indoors to prevent seagulls stealing our food! Try coming here just a smidge before lunchtime to avoid crowds but these go down quick so it won't be too long before you get seats even if there is a crowd.

We came here on our recent trip to Venice, the cicchetti was the best we had whilst here. Everything tasted so fresh and nice and the flavours were delicious! The interior is rustic and cute and the staff were really lovely too 🥰

Aperol spritz for 3,50€ Cichettis at 2€ each Price definitely cannot be beat, great spot to check out if you’re on a budget. This place is really popular with young people because of the price so it gets really crowded and could be hard to get a seat in the small shop so most people just stand around outside the shop to enjoy their cichettis. Overall would recommend for the vibe, and if you are on a budget. But do not expect high quality cichettis. For the price you pay it’s worth it!

Some of the cheapest and most delicious cechetti on the island. We had an amazing lunch in this vibrant and fun little place next to the canal. Very fresh seafood and delicious spritzes with the lively chatter of locals creating a great atmosphere.

SO delicious!!! Highly recommend for cichetti, lovely selection of bits including some veggie options (I'm unsure if there were any vegan options, although the artichoke may have been). If you love cheese, bread and fish you will love this place 🤤 the best blue cheese I've ever tasted was eaten here with cream cheese and a balsamic strawberry! Yum!!

Affordable and delicious cechetti! I tried cream with pumpkin, and my two-way tie for favorite were the mozzarella with prosciutto and the pesto with mozzarella and tomato. The bread was great and the flavor combinations were perfection. €2 each

I have been to Venice many times, and every time I pass this bar, it is always full and there’s people outside enjoying their drinks. We had some aperol spritz which were very well priced (not even €4!) and the cichetti was delicious! We didn’t need dinner after that. We took a seat inside and just watched people passing by, it was lovely. Would highly recommend this Osteria to anyone coming to Venice who wants a local experience.

Best cicchetti we had while in Venice. Drinks were also fab and reasonably priced £3.50 euro for a spritz. It’s right across from a gondola repair workshop as well so a lovely setting to sit and enjoy a rest after exploring.

This place is recommended by a friend who lives in Italy for years(not in Venice). We love cicchetti so we had such a high expectation to here. Wine is fine, cicchetti is tasty. One flavor with the combination of anchovies and cheese is superb and special! It feels like a place local come a lot, there is also an university nearby. Recommend to cicchetti lover like me!

One of the best cicchetti spots in Venice. Right opposite the gondola build and repair centre. We visited in the late evening so the seagulls didn't get a chance to steal our meal. Some excellent selection of cicchetti.

It’s a great place near canal to drink spritz and eat flavorful cicchetti. There is also a nice view to gondola boatyard.

Amazing! The cheapest Aperol spritz you will ever find. Cute spot. Great to eat outside by the water. Wonderful selection of chicetti. Get the tuna and caramelized onion!

Best place around the area to grab some lovely cicchetti and drinks! Atmosphere is cosy and always a steady stream of people grabbing bites & drinks along the riverside. Fantastic service with great espressos as well 👍 (cafe latte is quite weak) Grateful that they’re able to converse well in English for us travelers!

Beautiful place at a beautiful spot in the town. Just side the canal where you can enjoy your aperol. The staff is very helpfull and they had a good variety of ciccety. Each for 2.5€ without fish, and 3€ if it had fish. We liked a lot the ciccety with tuna and caramelized onions!!

Wonderful place to try some wine and eat Cicchetti. The wine was great and priced very affordably. They have many different kinds of Cicchetti, and each that we tried was delicious! Our favorite was the pesto, mozzarella and tomato. Great service to go along with great wine and food!

Opposite an interesting boat yard that repairs gondolas. There is some seating inside and also some outside. The cincheti (light bites on bread) were very good and one Euro fifty to two euros each generally. They also served wine and beer at a couple of euros or so each. You can take away or eat in. If taking away, there looked to be a quieter area a little past the cafe and across a all bridge, but you would be sitting on the grass/ floor.

Really nice and cosy place - pretty cheap as well! Highly recommend :) Be careful with the birds, they're trying to steal your food...

Mind the seagulls! I took this foto and 2 seagulls stole my food 😅 so don’t take photo and don’t put the plates down or they will come for it! I wish I tasted them. They looked delicious but I did not get the chance to try.

This was our favorite place to get cicchetti and a spritz! Great prices, friendly service, a place to sit right next to the canal... Perfection.
