This place is an amazing find! So cheap for the food n wine! Especially in a place like Venice! The wine was 80cents a glass - choice of sweet or dry wine. The glasses are small but still good value. Meat and cheese and crackers was €1.60 - can't go wrong! They take cash and card here. Definitely worth a stop here!

You don't get more local than this place. I walked past at 11am and a bunch of italians were standing around the barrel, drinking a little wine and eating little sandwiches. 4 sandwiches, a small beer and a water came to 7 euros. The guys behind the counter are super good and the place is crowded. Many flavours to choose from! I just wish I could have spent more time there.

If you want to feel spirit if Venice, you have to go there. Super atmosphere place, unbelievable, but its works 53 years! Super cheap drinks and food. Will come here for sure next time in Venice - to feel like locals. Bravo, guys!

Must go. Cheap food, wine and fun, lively experience. There was a line of locals and tourists waiting for .80€ wine and €1 paninos. Both are of pretty solid quality. You may have to wait but worth it. Go outside to a standing barrel and enjoy with locals on the canal. Stop by for 10 minutes and a few euros.

Traveling around Venice you suddenly notice people laughing and talking in one of the side streets. You are drawn to them by the smell of fresh bread and the buzz of conversations. It is here, no place to sit, two barrels at the entrance but no way to pass by. Are you hungry? I invite you for an Italian sandwich. Thirsty? No problem, we can also host you. Feel the Italian hospitality here, nice memories.

Must go place in Venice. Excellent place for local wine and sandwiches. The best part is, most of the customers are local Venetians. This place is always queuing. People are enjoying their wines while having fun conversations. I visited there on a Friday morning. People said they made the wine themselves locally. The sandwiches are freshly made for the day, and they’re always sold out by the end of the day. And the price, oh, only 2 euro for a sandwich and a glass of wine.

We came for a quick breakfast. We got the little sandwiches to go. They were cheap and delicious. What more can you ask for? I would have loved to go back when they had more things available. I loved the overall ambiance of locals just standing around sipping wine (early in the morning) and enjoying their rolls. Service is fast and efficient.

Lovely little place one the way from the train station to the other side of venice. You have spritz for 1.9 euro with other wines fro around 1 euro. This is defeintly the place to get a drink out for cheap. They also sell mini panini for 1.2 euro. There are no outdoor seats so you can either sit near the canal or the church or even just stand around. Staff friendly and quick service. However I found the cicchetti next door a little bit more tasty

Just wonderful. What a great atmosphere - lovely staff, customers who clearly all but live there, good wine, delicious street food and prices that almost make you feel guilty for having such a great time. Impossible to fault.

What a great place. A small place where you can get a cheap sandwich and a cheap glass of wine. No places to sit, so everyone just stands around and chat. Really nice atmosphere. The three employees seemed to have a great time drinking a glass of wine with the customers.

This is like one of those places you hear stories about. It's really is as good as that story you've imagined. Maybe better. Try it and see

I know since 9 years. In heart of venice. Best panini. Vino see foto. 60 cent chardonay padrone Fabio a great soul. Guests from students to professor. Architects. Judges and advocats. 6 morning the gondoliere have a few wines and panini for hard day...

Such yummy yummy Bacareto! Lots of different types of wines, and some beers and different spritzers and alcohols you can try. Yummy yummy mini sandwiches but they are a bit bigger in size!! A nice place to try and very inexpensive for traditional bacareto. Staff are really lovely and and speak italiano and English!

Very good cucetti! Pleease make a bigger location so the line could split and the waiting time to be cut a little. We wanted to come back but it was too crowded.

Phenomenal small sandwiches/paninis and wine. Prices, atmosphere and location are great. It really feels like a busy local place. Definitely a must in Venice imo

Great atmosphere, incredible experience. There were many drunk locals, but they were fun and harmless. Spritz was easy and great, wine was not bad for its price too. And finally - prices! Incredibly low for Venice. I am absolutely happy to find this little place. Totally would recommend!

This isnwhere all the men stop their barges for a breakfast of booze and the most exquisite rolls ever made. No tea, no coffee, just booze and sandwiches. Normally number one on trip advisor. Go early to see all the barges.

One of the greatest little sandwiches of all time, with a tiny glass of wine or Prosecco. Amazing. The bread is freshly baked
