For me this an amazing place for the Cristian people because an very old temple in middle of the Asuncion, but the set was very hard for people, I was in a ceremony of weeding of my nefews that was the first in the family, the orquest played the alleluia in a very good mood, the images in the church were nice but that need more assistance, there aren't place to parking and there aren't toilets. There aren't air acondition too.

Beautiful church and the presence of the Holy Spirit was noticeable. Great place to sit, pray and quiet the soul to remember what really matters. Gracias a Dios.

Electric guitar played at the podium. Only a few kneeling for the consecration. It's like taking a trip back into the 1990s where no one wants to let go of their 70s experiences. No wonder there is so few in the pews.

(Translated by Google) "HOLY TRINITY CHURCH" Located in the neighborhood of the same name, the Santísima Trinidad Church was built in 1854 by the Italian architect Alessandro Ravizza during the time of the government of Don Carlos Antonio López. It was inaugurated on April 13, 1856 in a solemn Eucharistic mass authorized by the Diocesan Bishop Basilio López, brother of the president. It is located on the highest hill in the neighborhood, it is in front of what was once the house of its creator, President Carlos Antonio López. It is the best ornate building in the area. The building is a true work of art in the Neoclassical style, it has a beautiful façade, it has altars worked in the Baroque style, and altarpieces from the Franciscan period also known as Rococo that were brought from the Yaguarón church. Its structure includes a rectangular silhouette, a straight apse (apse: rear portion of the main altar of a church), three naves (space between two walls) and a ceiling hidden by ceilings in the form of vaults fully ornamented with frescoes of biblical scenes. becoming the only one in the country with these characteristics. The national flag is part of his colorful designs in the central nave at the request of President Carlos A. López. President's Quarter Many of the country's presidents had their residences in what is now known as Trinidad, in addition to the wealthiest families who came to rest from Asunción in retirement homes in the neighborhood, either on weekends or holidays. In addition, the church served as a private chapel for the López family and upon the death of President Carlos Antonio López, his remains rested in the church, until at the end of the 20th century they were taken to the National Pantheon of Heroes. Church as heritage The church of La Santísima Trinidad was chosen in 2009 as the seventh treasure of the Material Cultural Heritage of Asunción chosen by the vote of the people, in a campaign organized by the American Capital Organization of Culture. Retouching. In 2011 the Church was retouched with the installation of an external artistic lighting system, providing special lighting so that visitors can enjoy all the splendor that the church offers. In 2016, the interior lights were changed, which were replaced by cold lights, highlighting all the beauty in sight that the chapel offers.
