Advantages: This place has numerous advantages. Firstly, it boasts a vast and serene area with minimal guests, especially during low season, making it an ideal spot for bird watching and relaxation by the river. The air is refreshing, and the atmosphere is peaceful and tranquil. Additionally, they offer a delightful breakfast, accompanied by a very pleasant and attentive staff. The rooms are generally very nice, especially those with a view of the river. Moreover, there are two large swimming pools for guests to enjoy. The TV also provides access to a few foreign channels, including French, German, and some in English. Lastly, the wifi is reliable and convenient. Disadvantages: However, there are some downsides to consider. Firstly, the hotel lacks proper communication and responsiveness. Despite attempting to reach out to them through various means, they failed to reply, indicating possible management issues. Secondly, many advertised amenities, such as kayaking, jacuzzi, billiards, and table tennis, were not available during our stay. The staff also denied the possibility of boat rides, despite contradictory information in their brochures. The recreational facilities, like the ping-pong table and billiard, were in poor condition. The overall maintenance of the property seemed inadequate, with the majority of the area requiring substantial renovation. The rooms displayed signs of wear and tear, with wallpaper peeling off and lacking essential items like bathrobes and bedside sockets. The minibar prices were also unreasonably high. Furthermore, the surroundings were hazardous, with broken glass bottles near the swimming and jacuzzi area, poorly maintained swimming pool facilities, and an unsafe playground for children, despite the children's room being well-managed. The hotel's value for money is questionable, as it falls short of its claims and appears outdated. While it might have been acceptable in the early 2000s, the current pricing is unjustified. The hotel should offer significant discounts given the multitude of unavailable services. The check-in process was also confusing, as there was limited English-speaking staff available due to apparent understaffing issues. All in all, the hotel deserves a rating of two stars, not five. Only with a substantial discount would we consider returning, given the exorbitant prices and the unavailability of many services advertised on booking.

Old infrastructure, cleanness are acceptable, hand and foot towels wasn’t in the bathroom, we ask for towels but personal service always forget to put towels in the restroom, maintenance is relatively good, humidity is not perceptible. Restaurants are acceptable, the resort has 4 restaurants, one of them spend 45 minutes to run a simple dish of meat and potatoes, hey don’t have natural orange juice just from tetra Pak, after that long time dishes taste was poor, but the waitress give us apologies for the situation. General Customer Service is good enough in the front desk, in the restaurants staff need to improve the customer attention, they can spend an hour for a simple dish of meet and a bottle of water. Double room are huge and you can have a lovely view of Paraguay river, this kind of view is present in the all resort. The building was planned to see the river no matter if you are in the pool, gym or restaurants. This scenery payback all you have give in cash, of course if you like natures. Pools and service there are excellent. Spa have a top service. And finally you can end your day with the sunset drinking something at the beach...

Great food, nice place, riverside.

Just to add to my last review, the toilet doors did not lock properly and the taps were faulty. On the whole we were disappointed with the food and the live music was poor.

The place is gorgeous but the food served on the buffet was not so good. Few options and the salad bar was horrible.

This is a great resort. There's a "beach" in the back with Argentina across the river. There are also some clay tennis courts, I wish I had bring my racquets when I visited. The rooms seem quite dated, but very well maintained. This is the place to stay if you visit Asuncion or the surroundings.

Really nice place, beautiful relaxing views, and peaceful atmosphere

To start the front desk people were somewhat rude on arrival, like they were not nice as they should be when you arrive, they are the first face of the hotel on arrival. The bellboy was very nice, so nice he made us forget the previous experience with the reception desk. The rooms are very nice we booked two. One of them the AC was not working to enough to battle the heat of Asuncion summer and leaking permanently and maintenance people came in once and fix it but it never cooled as to be comfortable. In the other room we found roaches at night, both nights. Both rooms were very nice with a good TV but the cable reception wasn’t that good. There were plenty of channels on the list but some of them didn’t work. The internet WIFI was not good either, I had to change an app password and I received a message that a password had been changed from a place in Chicago 💁?? There was a very comfortable and spacious desk but there was no place to plug-in the computer, the closest one was to far for the cable to reach. Overall it was mediocre for the price and the fame of the place in Asuncion, but the people that work there except for the ones at checkin deserve the best stars. Because with all the deficiencies of the Hotel always had a smile and were ready to help, like all people in Paraguay they were
