I start with the people and staff, the only positive thing here: They tried and were very lovely. Very nice staff, they helped me with a few things. They are great, keep that staff! Nice at the check-in counter and the cleaning Ladies are very nice and polite. That's all. The hotel had its best time in 70s until maybe late 80s early 90s. The place is dirty and filthy. In no western country on the whole world, would it be allowed to stay open. Keeping the fact, that it is one of the more expensive hotels here in town and gives itself 5-stars! 5-stars in the 80s maybe. From there is the furniture and the air conditioning. It's far to expensive for what you get. The breakfast was "okay" but more than 3-4 times I would not suggest to take it. VERY IMPORTANT: The hotel is located in some GHETTO districts. Try to find a hotel or Airbnb around the "Shopping del Sol". Here you will only find a dirty and left back city, which no one wants to see. It's is loud, because of the many air cons in front of the window outside. Tipps for the owner: Get the ugly carpets out. Clean the whole place. Renew all of the furniture. Close unused ammenties completely or clean them. Fix the Wifi, which kept getting failing from the 8th floor upwards. Maybe then you can charge half the price for the rooms, after that. Completely delusional with this price and the self given 5-stars. My room stank like a mixture of smoke and cleaning liquid. Staff said "no, i cannot smell anything"... Horrific. Only good thing is the staff, they tried, but even they couldn't fix most of the things, like wifi. Mich better options, for your value here in town, like the Ibiz hotel or any other Hotel near the Shopping del Sol area.

It is a great hotel to settle in. It has a pleasant climate, professional receptionists, with good service and quality service. It has great room service and leisure areas. Besides having a wonderful breakfast.

They high quality hotel at least three or four stars I would say the prices are normal around $136 a night but not bad for the volume with breakfast included is also a Casino Boulevard to underneath shopping Excelsior is right across the street the staff are very friendly and I enjoyed my stay there

Hotel stopped in time in the early 80's and stayed this way ever since. The rooms show age but the quality is still top for the city. Internet is VERY VERY MESSY and you can barely use whatsapp or imessage for that matter. I reccomend spending some money in a prepaid sim card at the mall across the street. Try personal, ask for the 15.000 Guaranys sim card for about 800mb of data. It will make you online again. And if you think you can use netflix in this hotel? FORGET IT. Breakfast is nice, but stay way from the cookies. They look pretty but the are not healthy at all. If you need supermarket stuff, there's one under the mall across the street as well.

Spacious old-fashioned rooms, very comfortable beds, great WiFi, decent breakfast included, excellent location, and the staff are incredibly kind and helpful. I stayed at this place for a day and the returned again for a few more days. I highly recommend it.

In need to refurbishment. Area of hotel isn't great either Whole room was old Breakfast is good as is pool. Room rates quite cheap. I would stay in a safer/different area

Repeat customer - 5 Star hotel - sure is a little past its prime, but still very stylish and beautiful. The service is excellent. Love the buffet breakfast! Will come back again.

Ambiente ist gut. Jedoch sehr heruntergekommen.(renovationsbedürftig) Was mich auch enttäuscht hat ist das hier Niemand Englisch spricht, was in einem 5 Sterne Hotel nicht wegzudenken ist.(ohne Spanisch bist du hier aufgeschmissen)

Gut gelegenes, hübsches Hotel, welches vor 25 Jahren bestimmt prunkvoll war. Der Teppich und das Bad unseres Zimmers haben viel erlebt. Der Eingangsbereich des Hotels ist sehr sauber, das Frühstück abwechslungsreich. Das Hotel verfügt über einen großen, sauberen Pool. Standort: "Londoner" Rooftop-Bar (auf dem obersten Parkdeck eines Parkhauses) und Club Condesa (Bar, Shop, Kunst, mehrmals wöchentlich wechselnde Live-Musik von Groov bis Elektro)

I stayed here for around two weeks on a business trip. Good hotel and the breakfast is also good. There is a shopping mall near by but not the best. I am a foreigner at this location and was advised not to walk or go alone outside after 19:00. I saw many poor people, kids around the area.

Old-World charm in the heart of Asunción. Delightful multilingual staff work diligently to assure your complete satisfaction. From the grand entryway to the casino adjacent to the property, there is plenty to see and do. Shopping is just across the street. Be careful about parking. Best to be driven there.
