Do not stay here!! Dirty place and they overbook themselves. I had booked 3 rooms and they told me I would have to take what they gave me or they would cancel my reservation with no refund. We had planned to stay a few nights and needed up staying one night and leaving the next morning at 7am because it was so bad. The pool was slimy and the beach was dirty with beer bottles and trash. DO NOT STAY the money it cost here is not worth it!! Terrible service and the food was not good. Had to go to a local little store and get stuff. Would never go here again! TERRIBLE TERRIBLE TERRIBLE!!!

definitely would not recommend. first trip to the country and the pictures online looked amazing but when you get here it’s a whole different story. our room was to be ready at 4– they told us we needed to wait for it to be cleaned? when we finally got the room the floor had sand everywhere and the ceilings in the restroom and bedroom had dead flies all over. they do not clean or refresh towels unless requested. it is an all inclusive resort but the food and drinks are a 0! they might have their own water system because the shower water has a funky smell and didn’t turn off after a shower. toilets leak after each flush.. water pressure very bad. you do not get what you paid for here. there are 2 sides of the hotel but it seems they put everyone on the ugly side and barley book the side that has beach access but even then the beach is also dirty and the current is always bad to even enjoy the water. the food is also not good at all it’s the same thing every day with maybe 1 or 2 different things. sad we didn’t get to enjoy it considering how much we paid. look elsewhere before you book.

Do not stay here not worth it. They promise you a bunch of things but only offer buffet that are really covered under the cost nothing a la cart and no other drinks like they promised. And be aware on check out day they will stop serving you at 1:30 even though lunch was until 3 I asked for a soda and they refused to give it to me. Terrible customer service. The wifi barley works kicks you out every minutes. The toilet in our room kept clogging up and had to keep having someone come unclog it. There’s no fridge in the room to store food. And when you ask for milk for a child they say they don’t have any. The walk to either side of the hotel is too long takes about 10-15 min. Don’t even bother buying into their hotel to be a member they tell you it’s going to be a monthly charge and instead they charge you all at once, we asked to have it fix and now they’ve avoided our calls terrible customer service, now my family has to try and get the money back from the bank. I don’t not recommend this place at all it’s a total scam from the beginning

Very poor experience. Was told food and drinks were included however we kept getting nicked and dimed everywhere.. Rooms were subpar at best. The worst part was the hospitality. It was non existant expecially at the bar area. He looks miserable getting me a bottle beer. Didn't smile once and just seemed unhappy.

DO NOT STAY HERE!!!!!!!!!! Do not waste your money here… the pictures you see online are NOT what you get in person. The property was not nice, the rooms were dirty & the food was DISGUSTING. Upon arrival it took forever to check in due to POOR SERVICE… after finally arriving in our room we had to get maintenance to come and fix the bathroom sink faucet that sprayed water everywhere and flooded our bathroom floor. They took forever to fix it and once fixed the bathroom floor was left WET & DIRTY. Our Queen bed only had one pillow that was pretty much a towel folded into a pillow case… the jacuzzi outside was TERRIBLE you have to go to the front office to get them to turn on and once turned on IT NEVER BECAME HOT AFTER HOURS. This was a family trip of about 10 of us and the FOOD WAS SO BAD that not one of us ate our food. We planned to stay here for 3 nights and we are already packing our bags to leave after only a few hours here. PLEASE DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND DO NOT DO NOT DO NOT DO NOT STAY HERE!!!!!!!!!

Have to say they have the most welcoming people so far I have met on my trip. They will go out of their ways to help you, Oscar is one of the best here. It is actually nice to have people enjoying what they do even if they are not getting paid much. I haven’t stayed at the hotel so can’t comment on that. I was here during summer time so very hot and humid, I wonder why they don’t have awning over the pool, water is way too hot feels like a hot tub, not good when it is 40degrees out. Also one other down fall is the mosquitoes just before sunset it is crazy. Bring so bugs repellent.

It’s a nice place in El Estero del Sol, but they haven’t done maintenance on the bungalows, it’s somewhat abandoned and old, the water to bathe and washbasin smells horrible, like a rotten egg and some doors don’t work. The serving staff is rude and speaks in an annoying tone. I consider that the place is located in a very beautiful area and deserves to improve a lot to honor it.

Do not stay here. food is awfu! The location is not clean. If I could give it absolutely 0 Stars I would! Such a waste! Seriously stay elsewhere!

My stay at the Bahia del Sol was a little bit higher than good. The place has a lot of potential because it has access to both the bay and the ocean. The simple rooms we reserved were very good because it included a living room and a separate bedroom. The restroom I ended up with was a bit small. The service always depends on the people who are doing it. Because we were there in the middle of the week, the workers were less stressed and therefore truly kind. Leo, specifically, always made sure we all we needed at the restaurant. The food was good, some nights better than others. The karaoke after dinner was good; however, they need to include more night activities. One thing that was annoying was the fact that I needed to get a slip from the cashier every time I wanted to get a drink from the bar. I've been to other inclusive resorts where that was not necessary. I recommend this place for those who don't mind walking a bit because the property is long and the water, the sea and the estero are quite a bit apart. It's worth to mention that I felt safe when we were within the property.

Overall bad experience. Zero star! I did payed for all included which is not worth it. While I was waiting for keys, this girl her named Maria Jose at the front desk wants to know my personal life and what am I doing in El Salvador which is not her business. Clearly she is not doing her job and she is going nosy for my personal life. Bless your heart!, I cannot understand for you! It needs better service! Food is the same every single day chicken and pork, 😞 I got ferry in the package but when I asked they said it needs to be 11 people or more. By the the day going on my last day, I got a call by the front desk saying that ferry is leaving at one time. I repeated the time many times and when I got there the ferry was gone. The place is good that for less money. At lunch there was people bothering you by selling a sharing time. I needed some peace! Such a waste money and 4 night! I never got seafood! They need to improved other wise they will be broken.

PLEASE...PLEASE....PLEASE Do not make the mistake of booking this! you will regret it. Although I was there for a few hours (We had to RUN), it was a nightmare and below standard. The front desk staff tried their best but that would be a "2" but the location and facility is a "-5" The furniture and bed sheets were dirty and old. DO NOT TRUST THE PICTURES. RUN...RUN...RUN!

The room at arrival had hair all over the floor. The shower was blocked ( I reported it to reception the lady didn'tseemtocare). And it seemed like it was overbooked. People were sitting on the floor cause there were no chairs available. Wifi doesn't work. Food was all "included," but if you were 30min late you get "left overs" if you ask for more food because the servings were minimal they just said that was the portion. The beach was dirty, beer bottles everywhere. Pool wasn't clean and the price wasn't cheap. No parking anywhere and having a big car was a nightmare.

DO NOT BOOK; Worst experience of my life. The food was okay, but the room were extremely dirty. There was bloodstains on my sheets! and walls and the water had a foul smell. Taking a shower only made you feel dirtier. In fact, I showered in the public pool bathroom instead of the bathroom in the hotel because the water smelled less. DO NOT BOOK!

Worst hotel ever . Water disgusting smell u cant even use it to wash your face. Rooms are safe. Locks dont work. I suppose to be everything included but u ash for q coke they want to charge you. U ask for a towel thy want to charge 10 dollars. Sick people

Bad experience overall. The only saving grace was one bartender and a waiter that did their best to make our experience pleasant. Everything else was just terrible. Schedules for meals were never respected, always picking up earlier than what had been told to us. Food was okay at best. Rooms were not cleaned every day, and we had an issue with doors actually closing/staying locked. They offer other activities, but when we tried to get them, there was never anyone there to sell the service to us. The place has so much potential, but it needs way better management

Restaurant service was the worst. They took about 2 hours to serve our food. The attitude they had was as if they did not want to serve us. They forgot several drinks and charged us for it. I will NEVER come to this restaurant.

Terrible food wifi did not work in room. Tv remote did not work. Hardly enough water pressure to wash the sand from our bodies and only COLD WATER!!!!!! The beaches were also dirty While down at the public access beach . It was super clean We will never go back to this place.

This was by far the worst resort I have ever stayed in. Just like one of the reviewers said, the pictures that you see are not what this place looked like. It is dirty, disgusting, the food is awful and it took the people hours to check us in. I was with two other friends and I had booked what RCI said was a 3 bedroom place. It appears that they took what was supposed to be a tiny living room and made it a bedroom with two twin beds. There was another room. The furniture, all of it, was what you see people put on the sidewalk for trash here in the U.S. The curtains at the window looked like dirty old sheets. There was a large hole in the front door where you can see the outside and what would allow critters to come in. The grounds were littered with dirt and sewage.

It doesn't include all as they promote and the room where I stayed had a bad smelling and it was because it has cockroach's remains

If there was ZERO star I would give them a zero for customer service. I heard about this place and I wanted to stay there however, the reservation staff mishandled my reservation and now I have to find somewhere else to stay. Very disappointing I guess they did not need my business.

We purchased a day pass. It was great. Snacks, lunch, unlimited drinks (alcoholic and non). The staff was friendly. There were many activities for the kids. Will definitely come here again.

Great hotel, beach house, beach club and more. The complex is quite big and has access to the beach as well to the bay and mangroves at Jaltepeque. It has many rooms and pools, prices can be very high and the food and beverages can be pricey as well. Parking is ok.

The place is ok. The waiters never picked up used or dirty glasses or bottles. Most of the staff is rude! There are no places to lounge for free you got to pay to lay down and relax. They are rip offs.

Do not stay here! Super dirty rooms. Curtains had red stains that looked like blood. Bed sheets were disgusting in 2 different rooms. We tried ordering food and they said that they didn’t have anything except pizzas. The pizza we got was worse than a frozen dinner pizza. Would not come back ever again.

personally, I had a good time at this hotel, I stayed here for a couple of days and its descent. If you are native to the land, food it's great, service it's great, perhaps a couple of things they could improve its the water quality, the shower wasn't working properly and also the cocktails aren't the greatest either, but if you ask for a Pilsener you can't go wrong. because of service and descent location I would stay here again.

This is a pretty nice all inclusive timeshare resort. We had a private jacuzzi with our suite but it wasn't functioning properly. The rooms were okay, fresh towels, and the a/c helped. There are two parts of the resort and we luckily got a suite close to the beach. The service was great and if you're a drinker, you'd get your money worth. However, the meals are hit-and-miss. There are good selections at the buffet but the daily snacks and included made to order meals were kind of disappointing. Super friendly staff and excellent location to enjoy the waves and sandy beach 🏖

Horrible hated it, they are expensive, poorly trained, remember this country was ravaged by war and so some of their kids became gang affiliates because what they saw that problems are solved with violence so they have a lot of catching up to do but yet they want to charge luxury prices but not pay accordingly to employees, they want to act as if they are at the level of United States and charge accordingly it just doesn’t make sense mentally or financially 🤦‍♀️

Nice place, staff is 5/5. The buffet is really good. The rooms are nice but could be a bit more modern.

Maintenance has not reached those rooms in the past 10 days, ripped courtains, dirty walls, faulty electrical wiring, doors with not working mechanisms, etc. The food is ok but doesn't compensate for the horribly taken care facilities. P.s. not a gay friendly place. You may face discrimination.

Service was bad. They charge $20 per person and that doesn’t include the food. Food is overpriced in my opinion and not worth it. We had to wait for about 1 hour and the food came cold. They didn’t have a dish and they let us know 1 hour later! Installations are OK. But for the price and the service this is not worth it

Very old building and water stinks you can not even brush your teeth with it, and everything is super old inside over all is bad.

Please do yourself a favor and don't even think about staying at this hotel, I've had the worst experience, was denied entrance into the property even though I had a reservation for the hotel. Had to travel another hour and end up sleeping in my car due to the fact that I couldn't find any room available since was late.

Disappointed of it. First and last time I will go to it. I won't write what I didn't like, because there were a lot reasons.

It was awesome the people are very down to earth and always a smile on there face had a great time and I will be coming back 👍🤠⛵️⚓️
