To start with the best and unique selling point, its view. That is if you get an apartment that has a good angle on the shore and sea. Where else can you get this kind of view with a bonus that one can see Gibraltar and Northern Africa. The 1+2 bedroom apartments are spacious enough for 5 persons and offer convenience. Temperatures are really good, we have not used the air-conditioning (mid July) since there seems to be frequently a cool breeze. Layes on a hilly surrounding, it's very quite and somewhat remote to shops, entertainment etc. Personally, I liked that although a (rental) car is very much recommended to visit place and do your (groceries) shopping. There is a spacious fridge and cooking facilities are okay. Albeit the cooking inventory is somewhat limited. We were missing some essential cutlery etc. Staff is friendly and helpful, queries are usually swiftly answered and no-nonsense. However, the reception can be really busy at times.

Quite a lot of apartments, ours had a lovely view of Gibraltar. We were all impressed with the deal we got, rooms were very big, clean, fresh towels weekly and you can just ask reception if you need anything ie hairdryer abd kettle. They were very accommodating. The location is genuinely rural, quiet, and out of the way, but every night that had some sort of entertainment, it was really good, especially for kids. The beach is a 15 minute walk away, the shuttle bus is no longer available but the walk is absolutely fine. The pools are great, shallow and deep section available, bar, terrace and restaurant, all pretty good.

We booked a 'fully equipped' self catering apartment. There was no toaster, no kettle, no egg flip and we had to ask for these items. The apartment was not very clean nor was it well maintained, the fridge was in a bad state with broken shelves and rust inside, cupboard doors were off the hinges. TV did not work and had to be exchanged. No cleaning service during our 10 day stay. We had to dispose of our rubbish ourselves. Toilet paper was not replenished, we had to go and buy more. WiFi and aircon worked well. Dishwash items were provided as well as shampoo and body wash. Towels were replaced 3 times in 10 days. The pool area was very nice with sun loungers, a bar and great views.

We are a family of 5 staying for 10 nights in mid July. The location is beautiful, the views are spectacular. You can see Morocco from the balcony. A car is an absolute necessity here. We paid €5 a night for a parking space inside the complex. It was worth it to park so close to our apartment when coming home from the beach etc. The staff were helpful and obliging. We were worried about the accommodation as we read some bad reviews however the apartment was spotless clean, the sheets were changed once and the maid does not clean but that's ok we can clean up after ourselves. We asked for extra sheets and towels at reception and they gave them to us, no problem. Apartment was spacious and well equipped with a microwave and a dish washer. If you don't like the strict rules of the bigger pool then the small pool is more relaxed. The whole complex is gorgeous. The mini mart is limited. The entertainment is ok. The pool party night was great. The wider area has many supermarkets (supermarcado was the best), the many beaches are clean and most have a beach bar with hot food. A visit to Estopona is a must. It's a beautiful city. The Saturday Market at the marina had everything for souvenirs to bring home. We had a great holiday. I have nothing negative to say about Pierre & Vaccances.

I wouldn’t say there was anything wrong with this place really. The accommodation was clean and well presented but everything looked a bit tired. Could definitely have done with a lick of paint and a bit of filler for some rather obvious cracks in the walls. Kitchenette was basic, it was only possible to self-cater by borrowing things from the second apartment we rented. Definitely could switch the salad spinner for a toaster and the kettle was borderline dangerous when it worked - no on-off switch, just on when plugged in and it seemed to take forever to boil. Otherwise it was in a good location and you could get all the necessities in the little shop. Staff were polite and helpful when we needed to interact. Basically it was good enough, I’d probably not go back, not because there was anything specifically bad, but there are so many more places in the world to visit and for the price, I expect we could get something a little fresher, a little better. Only real bug-bear was the loud kids party going on most nights til late just outside our window. I get that culturally, we’re the odd-ones out, with our children going to bed ~8-9pm but it did go on a bit.

The stay overall was okay. The apartment wasn’t horrible although smelled of dump and beds were horrible. I couldn’t understand all those noises, banging at 6 am? It was really difficult to get a sun lounge by the pool as all were taken all day from 10 am. The part that annoyed me the most was the deposit. We booked through the agency and we were not informed about it prior to arrival. Then when we payed we were told it’s gonna to come back to my bank account on the day of the checkout. We called them twice and we’re still waiting for the money. Honestly disgusting

I have one word. Ants. My partner and I arrived at the resort late a night just to be welcomed by a nest of red ants in our “clean” bed. My parter has very sensitive skin meaning this atrocity caused him to itch the whole night and have a rash in the morning. DO NOT GO HERE. This place was absolutely terrible. We were also told just as we went to reception that we had to pay a €200 deposit which came as a shock as was not specified at all to us. It’s also in the middle of nowhere and taxis are very expensive all around the area, as you walk down to the end of the resort , you’re met by a big motorway so it’s not even like you can walk to anywhere that’s not miles away. The staff was so rude and offered barely any help when we rang up about the ants and gave no help with directions to our room just expected us to know where to go, (bearing in mind the place is massive) it was a whole 15 min walk to our room from the reception which is ridiculous. We also spoke to another couple who was had been staying at the resort for just over a week and still hadn’t had their room cleaned, they told us they had complained to reception 6 times already but nothing had been done. The food was overly expensive for no reason , they had a buffet that had the most simplest of dishes which resulted in us paying €25 per person on a plate of dry fries and unsealed trout. The “adult” pool was filled with kids the whole time and the family friendly pool was always packed so no winning there. The Wi-Fi never worked which meant we had to use our phone data the whole trip! The “mini market” was ridiculously trash, barely a bottle of sun cream in there. Over all, will never be returning to this terrible resort. Save your money. Do not go there.

We stayed in the Sevilla building.Rooms are clean and kitchen was clean as well. They are a one bedroom flat with self catering ( if you choose to have it this way) like us. We wanted the culinary experience and we weren't planning to only eat here. You will need a rental car to get to nearby cities or if you don't drive, Uber is the best option and very cheap. If you're planning to only stay at the hotel, food is really good. Buget for breakfast and dinner, throughout the day they serve other food as well at the chiringuito near the pool. They have all sorts of activities throughout the day and at night, for both children and adults. I will change my review back to 5 stars after the amount of £200 for the deposit will be paid back in my account. When we checked out of the hotel the receptionist told us that within 2 weeks our deposit will be paid back. Called after two weeks only to be told that it takes longer for the money to be processed. It's now been two months and no money seen yet. Tried calling the hotel and no answer, guessing because it's off season and there's no one at the reception.

Just returned and had a wonderful holiday. Staff were lovely and always willing to help. Entertainment staff really go above and beyond encouraging you to join in with games and put on wonderful performances grease and abba were great, the resort had a good variety of entertainment each night. We didn't eat in the restraunt but bar food was lovely good choice and reasonable priced drinks are reasonably priced. Mini Market good priced and had a few bits but would recommend visiting sabenaillas for shopping from mercandona or carriefor.Pools are lovely and well maintained as the rooms too with beautiful views . WiFi is good and no issues especially having 2 teenagers. There is a 200 euro deposit to pay and this can be paid by card or cash I paid cash and got back when leaving which is understandably for the room you get. Housekeepers would knock every few days and ask if we needed more towels. I thought the welcome pack in the room was a great touch with cleaning supplies . room was lovely and having a dishwasher was really helpful. Plenty of utensils to cook with. Yes the resort is a bit out of the way you can walk to a beach but steep hills, the reception called us a taxi and going to the marina was about 13 euro each way which Is quite cheap and from the marina you can walk along to sebanillas 5minutes along the road estapona is also nice to visit and taxi is about 35 euro each way makes a good day out. Definitely would recommend and would visit again beautiful resort.

Absolutely lovely hotel, rooms are very spacious, and well kept, the pool is massive however the lack of sunbeds made us resort to lying on the floor with a towel which is the last thing you would want to do on a holiday, but sometimes managed to get a sunbed. We arrived without a car and ended up spending more than 200 euros on ubers, the hotel website should specify that you would really need a car to stay here as it is very secluded and leaves no walking routes as is near a busy main road. Food was quite expensive, not much choice for picky eaters and drinks are reasonably priced. Other than that, still had a good holiday, just a shame on the location.

Amazing views of Gibraltar Rock. All in the resort is wonderful; clean swimming pool and all areas of the resort, workers are service-minded and friendly. But what it is missing: charger for electrical cars, good wi-fi and more assortment in the mini-market.

We had a stuning view from the apartment, the apartment it self was clean and had all we needed apart from a real oven instead somesort of microwave thing , the pool was a nice place to be with the same stuning views and plenty of sunbeds, i feel the extra €5 charge to park on site a day was a rip off.

Had a lovely family holiday here with my partner and two children , the enterment was a suprise and was really good , included pool dances ,pool games , a character visit , evening shows and a barbie late night pool party, and a outdoor movie night. My children liked the little arcade games room . Little shop on site that sells bits to put you on fruit bread milk sweeties ect . 3 pools with lots of space to play swim ect , could be more sun beds but I never had a problem getting one or sitting round pools . Rooms had air con that was well needed as red hot . Small walk down to local beach that had a beautiful beach bar on . Food at this place was ok but was the same menu each meal time could do with abit more choice although you can pay 23 euros to go to the buffet each . Good choice of ice lollies and drinks at pool bar . Staff are amazing very friendly and made our holiday amazing . Absolutely the best views I think i have ever seen 🙂 definitely be back to stay here x

23 days later and still no refund of my security deposit, I left the accommodation as I would have my own home. Zero contact from the company in return to my two emails. Speaking with travel agent then if no joy from that I shall dispute the card transaction with my credit card company. I was told 12-24 hours for my refund to be processed. Disgraceful!

Pros: beautiful garden, views of the sea and Gibraltar, nice pool and staff by the pool, all the amenities in the rooms including dishwasher and utensils. It used to be a well maintained resort, but not any more. My suggestion for improvement: given that the hotel is so far from the main attractions, invest more in bringing more comfort to the rooms and make at least parking free. The rooms are not clean enough, dirt and dust in the corners, the walls, curtains, and even sofas are stained, while it would have been so easy to clean them. instead of airing and cleaning better, unpleasant smelling sea or male perfume spray was used everywhere - on the sofas, on the bed pillows, a foul smell from the ventilation even when it is turned off. The clothing cupboards smell - i think they should be cleaned and aired after each stay. Overall, the resort is ok, and staff is friendly, but it is just a pity it is not well maintained and you must rent a car as everything is really far.

Our family (2 adults with kids 5 and 9 years old) stayed at this resort 5 nights. I didn't want to write all the bad things about the property such as ants (in lounge/balcony and hallway), not working TV, ripped off furniture and paint, fridge without shelfs, remote distance, far from the sea and any restaurant etc. cos all these things didn't bother our family too much as we read previous reviews, so we rented a car and most of the time spent outside of the resort. The main reason why we choose this accommodation is a swimming pool and views. Kids were very excited about the pool, but unfortunately, only small floating rings are allowed (roughly up to 6 years old), which are too small for 9 years (as is states on packaging). We had a ring for one child for 6-10 years old (which is only 2cm bigger in diameter than other one) and were not allowed to use it and were told that the child was supposed to use a paddling pool for babies (35cm deep) if he could not swim, which I think was rude. That's a shame! These rules are not stated anywhere and were not mentioned during check-in, so many people wasted their money buying rings for older kids and unable to use them. However, staff at the pool bar, entertainment team (hardly spoke English only Spanish), and some at the reception are polite and nice. Area is clean and thought after. Appreciated complementary cleaning kit on arrival, too.

Just returned from a 4 night break here. Negatives 1st. Place is a little dated and in need of a kick of paint. Some areas do have an ant issue. Location gives you stunning views but requires a car or taxi trips. Positives. Staff I found were all polite and helpful. Had my autistic son with me and they were all inclusive, helpful and kind with him.. Gardens are lovely and the pool are was very clean with large pool. We had a flood in our block so were moved rooms. Staff waived our parking and upgraded from self catering to full board so was a nice gesture. View to Gibraltar and the coast were stunning. If you're looking for a hectic nightlife it's not the place to go but for a relaxing holiday I found it to be spot on. Would definitely return again.

No housekeeping. They don't clean the rooms and if you need new towels.or toilet paper you have to go to reception to get them yourself, they won't bring them to your room. Also, the breakfast was absolutely disgusting. The absolute cheapest nastiest stuff possible. The coffee and orange juice was terrible too. I definitely wouldn't stay here again.

Check in was really easy and fairly quick, but trying to find our apartment was slightly tricky! Once found though it wasn't to bad, basic but clean, kitchen needs upgrading as in the cupboard doors are rotting, couple of ants in the drawer but soon got rid of and they didn't come back. There was a tear in the bed sheet and what looked like a blood stain on the spare duvet. I would have uploaded the photo but it has not saved.... The grounds need more maintenance, the walkways have lifted and the ground was breaking up, I did trip up but luckily stayed on my feet, (I need to use a walking stick so not ideal), you need a torch at night as the lighting is not the greatest. We did not use the pool so cannot comment on that but we did walk around the complex and there are two pools which looked clean, we sampled the poolside bar and bar food and again not bad, not brilliant but ok. They do allow pets and the apartment above ours decided to bring 3 dogs which barked everytime someone walked past or they saw another dog, personally I don't think they should be allowed but other travellers might not be bothered. Having to pay for parking is a stretch too far really, 5 euros per day or 7 euros per day if you want to park underground, you can park on the street which we did. You definitely need a car as the nearest place is about 10 mins drive away, the place is quite tricky to find and you definitely need a satnav. Also the agents do not mention when booking that you need to leave a 200 euro deposit on arrival, we booked with On The Beach. If you like fish and chips then you have to go to Skippers in Sabinilla, tapas, can recommend La Casita in the same place and for evening meals too, Estapona is a beautiful place too. We stayed from the 17th to the 24th Sept 2022

Booked it a night here as used to enjoy it a couple years ago, gone downhill since. Starting with the apartment needs a bit of an update, our freezer door was broken so fridge door wouldnt shut, not a big thing as im just staying 1 night. Beds were the worst better sleeping on the floor, or the sofa. Upon booking didnt get the option of booking breakfast or dinner so if it werent for the fact the hotel didnt have that many people we would have been hungry as you can not use tge restaurant otherwise. They take €200 as a deposit upon arrival and apparently you get it back upon check out once they check your room. However i have read of people complaining that they have not received it... *UPDATE* I recieved it at 8pm the same day as check out, however a family member that went the following week has yet to recieve it till this day and the hotel are saying they are not to blame yet the bank can clearly see the money is being held by the hotel, no damages causes but hotel won't release funds or accept responsibility. The snack bar had a menu which you could order from thank god, a bit pricey for what you get but its nice, waiting staff were lovely. Entertainment from when i was last here had dropped standards but the guy that was on was lovely and was trying his best considering it was just him. Walking home at night was a bit of a challange as it is pitch black, most of the floor lighting were not working, whilst pushing a pram it is a bit of a nightmare... not pram friendly to many steps everywhere. Best thing this place has is the pool and the views, definitely need a car to get about as its up the the mountains. Would i book again, possibly not due to the resturant issue and the beds.

I booked a appartement for 3 persons, my husband , my 8th month old baby and me. When we arrived at about 4 o clock in the afternoon, oure room was still not available, we traveled a long time and with oure baby this was not ideal, the woman at the reception was not really compliant, we had to wait another 30min /1 hour before we could get into oure room, i think this is really late for the guests to get into the room that they booked. The Location is really only receable with a car, because it's on a big hill, we knew this before so we rented a car. The view is beautiful and there a 2 pools, both of them pretty big en good/clean. But the ground cables where exposed and not connected, that could make it a hazard. The village is very big, with alot of family's, So there should be more sunbeds to lay on, but that is my upion. We stayed for 8 days, there was no change of clean towels or cleaners to clean the room a little bit, i think that they could have done this at least 1 time. I needed to use the laundry machine room, it costs 4 euro, and it didn't even clean well... The room that we hade was really outdated, the beds where hard and the pillows were paper thin. When you walk true the village, you really see that it used to be a big beautiful place, but now it needs alot of Maintenance. On the photos it looks alot better than that it really was. It really looks like that they don't have enough employees for this big complex, to keep it mantained well. The village is child friendly, alot of activities and 2 pools but not really baby friendly, alot of stairs, when you have a stroller this is not ideal.

Rooms are ok just rock hard beds with no exaggeration. Service is ok when you ask for it in Spanish, just given a card for you room with no help after and the place is huge easily get lost at 2am. Location is high up in the hills with a beautiful view and nice surroundings. If you don't have a car or able to pay for alot of taxis then not the place for you. Overall it's not the worst you could end up in it is beautiful just the bad points aren't small ones. The rules are no noise after 12 at night, the other hotel users are partying hard until 3-4 am and I mean hard, shouting banging scraping chairs constantly. If you don't mind that then you'll be ok. The air con works really well and the pools are clean. More security would good to keep the drunk ones a little more quiet and a information desk to help people get to know the area definitely. Spent most of my money by the second day needlessly as we didn't know anything about the area or could ask for help as the staffs English speaking is virtually non existent. The staff on the desk are constantly busy and there is always a check-in cue 24 hours a day. This place has its ups and downs if you can work around the down you'll like it but why should you have too when you pay alot of money to be here. One tip is fly to Gibraltar it's 10 mins away.
