Professor Lucas Rocha is an excellent instructor. I started as a white belt and have promoted to a purple belt. The gym camaraderie feels more like family. Everyone is respectful, motivating and competitive. My 56 year old mother has now become a member. Men, women and children are all welcomed.

Both my boys have been training at ZR for over 4 years and love it (7yrs old and 9yrs old). Finally after sitting on the bench for a number years, I just started training as well and it’s been great. No egos, just a great friendly and family like environment. I feel really fortunate to have World class competitors teaching classes, and they are great people. i started my Jiu Jitsu journey here at ZR in 2017. I've had a lesson or two from other gyms, but i've found ZR team to be the place where i've felt the most welcome. Prof Lucas, Prof Diego, and Prof Gabriel are not only world class competitors, but are excellent at teaching. I appreciate their dedication to their student, as well as to the sport. Joining the ZR team has helped me physically as well as learning a new skill!

The county's top BJJ school. Professor Rocha and Thiago welcomed me when I initially entered the academy. The members of Logic are all genuinely welcoming. The Professor are really serious about what they teach, and the classes are excellent and essential. You'll improve your physical fitness, learn self-defense (sometimes they teach self-defense in real-life situations, which is great because no other martial arts gym does that), and you'll get stronger. Jiu Jitsu challenged me to develop personally, helped me gain confidence, lose weight, and reduced my stress. I would have bad days but after going to Jiu Jitsu class, I feel much better. You'll feel like a member of the family and make friends. The community is extremely friendly and kind to everyone that enters the academy. All of the members don't view sparring as a competition; instead, they will match your skill level. Even if you disclose to your sparring partner particular injuries, they will work with you. Even the professor will understand if you explain that there are some things your body simply cannot accomplish. They have multiples locations each with a unique timetable. I find it convenient that if you miss a morning, you may come back later in the day or visit a different site at a different time. Locations at Irwandale and La Verne they both have a kids area where you can drop off your kids if that helps anyone. Also If you would want, they might even take you to a competition. Being a member of the academy is like being in a creed. They have other great Professor such as Kaori and Mike they're both really great and helped me so much with my Jiu Jitsu game. I highly recommend trying to ask advice from them also. They also have their locations Kaori is at Irwandale and Mike is at Alhambra. I encourage you guys to check out other locations. Every Professor has a unique way of teaching. Just in case if anyone wants to know, at Arcadia location they have a restroom, changing room, and benches so you can bring spectators if you like. They also offer Jiu Jitsu classes for kids and teens.

Being in Logic for more than 2 years, my experiences have been great. I constantly appreciate my professors' honest feedback whether if I am progressing or need to do more work with an area that I am struggling with. Not only the Professors focus on the training, but whenever there are issues that is going on in that facility, they will address the issue.

This is a great academy for all levels of Jiu Jitsu. Professors Lucas and Thiago provide great technical instruction and also give attention to all students regardless of skill level. The facility is clean and well maintained and everyone has been very welcoming. There is a true team mentality at the academy and my training partners here have all helped me develop my skills. This is a great school not only for all skills levels but for adults and children as well.

This is an amazing BJJ school led my professor Lucas! The professors and students are all genuine people who are there to help you in your journey. I immediately felt that since I joined in May 2022. This is the 3rd BJJ school I have been to in SoCal and I can’t say enough good things about Logic BJJ. By far the best place to train in the San Gabriel/ Pasadena area. All ages can thrive here.

Words can’t describe my first visit to Logic HQ. Sometimes when I’m driving I think back to my first visit and laugh and shake my head. What kind of gift did the Gods create when Logic HQ was born? I’m not sure. I rolled there once and stayed to chat with a brown belt until they closed and kicked us out. What was his name? I don’t remember. What was the experience? Unforgettable.
