TLDR: beautiful scenic views from the second towers with an arms museum as well We walked from the first to the second tower and it took somewhere around 10-15 minutes. There are scenic views from both but this one also contained an arms museum inside which had some interesting pieces like coats of arms and guns. There is also an awesome view of the third tower (which you can walk to but can’t enter). Highly recommended the 11 euro ticket to see both towers and all the state museums, only 2 euros more than the nine euro ticket to only see both towers

Cesta Tower is also known as "Fratta", one of three towered peaks overlooking the city of San Marino

Tagsüber war ziemlich was los.

Well worth the money to climb the tower and get incredible views from the top. There are only regular stairs to climb this tower. The best views this tower affords, are those over the town, rather than of the surrounding countryside, which are also incredible and vast. It's great to be able to see most of the city splayed out over the mountain from this tower.

The second tower was further along and up the ride, reached by more lovely steps (known as the Witches Path) but with great views back to the first tower. Known as Fratta or Cesta this is on the highest point of San Marino. Built at the end of the 11th century this tower also served as a prison and was renovated after WW2 to house the collection of nearly 2000 weapons, dating from the medieval period to the 19th century that were relocated from Milan. Constructed on a pentagonal plan you can climb to the top of the towers and walk on the roof top parapet which is quite delightful!

Being one of the greatest landmarks San Marino has to offer to the world, Cesta Tower, more commonly known as the Second Tower is a quite nice structure that speaks history. Serving today as a museum, it offers every single visitor to get a glimpse in the super amazing and longstanding history the "Land of the Free" has to show. A visit to this architectural structure is a must!

The second tower is along the way called 'Passo delle Streghe', after the First tower. This is, according to me, the best tower, thanks to the dominating view over the first tower, symbol of San Marino. Within it, a very beautiful fir3arm museum, which includes tools used by Garibaldi itself. Do not miss it!

The second of the must-see towers of San Marino and just as busy as the first tower. It's a five-minute walk from the other tower and this one has a weapons display inside and is easier to climb up - the stairs are less steep than the first tower. The views are just as impressive from here.

The Tower Cesta of San Marino is located on the  on the highest of Monte Titano's summits. From the top of the Tower we enjoyed breathtaking view of San Marino. It also hosts a museum to honour Saint Marinus. The ticket prices are reasonable at around 6 Euros when we visited.

Quite interesting to visit. Nice view at top of the castle. If some People have a problem of the knee , I think I won't recommend it but it's up to you if you want to try. Actually it's a very nice place to see

The second castle of the three. Its entrance also needs the ticket. From the top of this castle, you can view the first castle, which is the most magnificent view in San Marino!!

The best views of the castle and walls. Walking around is free and there many pictures opportunities. I visited on Xmas day and unfortunately the tower was closed but still worth the visit!

Andate.

San Marino - what a place!!! So many little shops where you can buy big variety of goods. If you are hungry, here you will find many great caffes and restaurants where your stomach will be delighted! Views from top of castle are breath taking! You see Adriatic sea and surrounding agricultural lands of Italy. You just have to know, that arrival to the castle will be very steep and many steps you will have to climb. So if your legs are not the strongest part of the body, better take elevator. Grab your camera and prepare to make some amazing pictures from there!!! Enjoy as I enjoyed my time here!

Avoid San Marino it's just a tourist trap. The place's history is interesting, but the towers are surrounded by hundreds of cheap souvenir stores and weird places like 'the vampire's museum' and 'the museum of torture' where you can see dusty Halloween decorations. Just stay in Rimini for your own good.

The view here is even better then the first tower, where the mountain looks more dramatic. You can visit an arms museum, enjoy forest walk and there is more tourists structure. You can also see the third tower in a distance. It’s worth the ticket.

The view from here is out of this world! The tower sits at the highest peak of Monte Titano and has a museum inside! Set your heart ablaze and climb on top of it for one of the best experiences in the world!

The Castle and Tower themselves are small, but for the price it's a nice way to spend an hour or two. The views from the Tower - IF you can climb it- are spectacular. The gardens are lovely. And the small museum is very informative about San Marino' s history. I definitely recommend making the effort to walk through if you're here. Just beware that to climb the Tower itself, you must go up a ladder where at the top there are metal wire steps (rebar) and a tight-ish space to squeeze through. Definitely not safe for kids.

Really beautiful tower. Even more beautiful views. The museum is slightly dissapointing because of the lack of information/stories next to the objects but worth it for being able to go up in the tower.

Just as beautiful as the First Tower, it is absolutely recommended to visit it, even if it is a bit tiring to reach it, but nothing so difficult. At the moment, however, it is closed btw
