Definitely one of the most beautiful spots in San Marino. The square is really beautiful, quite large and full of shops and restaurants. You can also enjoy a decent view on the other hills which sorround the little country.

Piazza della Liberta is one of the most popular places to visit in San Marino. Great view and there is enough room for many people. You can take wonderful pictures here or simply sit and watch the building on the square. We enjoyed our time here. Come and visit this beautiful place 🌸🌸🌸🌸

The main square where the main bodies of the city and country are located. There are nice views of the small Republic, and the most important monument, the Liberty lady is located right at the center of it. There are a couple of restaurants that will offer you a great hospitality and nice food.

Great view and nice square at the top of mountain. You can see the city hall and the status of the saint who established this place. I would rate it very strongly. Worth the steep hike.

This is a beautiful (possibly the most beautiful) spot in the historic centre of San Marino. There are cafes and shops on the eastern side, the public palace to the north (which you can visit) and stunning views to the west.

Symbolizing San Marino, the Piazza della Libertà is the arguably the most famous and historic part of San Marino and a must see for any visitor.

San Marino place is a must to see. It is small country but its a nice place to visit for a day or how many days you want. We are very lucky at that time when we visit coz the sun is smiling widely. But after we left a heavy rain approached. Atleast we had a good time. Visit this place when the sun is around, always check the weather forecast all the time so that you alarm. I would definitely visit this place again

The statue symbolizes freedom. Freedom is represented as a warrior advancing fiercely with one hand extended forward and one with a flag. On the head of the statue is a crown with three towers representing the fortified city of San Marino, the symbolic meaning is the reinstatement of freedom.

Romantic spot with amazing views over San Marino and surrounding Italy... Plenty of small streets filled with tiny shops (deducted tax), restaurants gift shops etc. Be prepared to encounter plenty of tourists, so best to come as early as possible to avoid being overcrowded. Change of guards is something also you might appreciate, but don't expect nothing huge =)

Beautiful square with a great vista. The doorway is pure artistry, and a mosaic crest on the face of the building rounds of what seems to be the centre of power for the citadel. The square boasts a statue of Octilia Heyroth Wagener.

Liberty means a lot to all of us, and from this point of view it looks like all people from San Marino have liberty in their own possesion. I can not envy them but I am happy to breath some of their and Garibaldi's air

One of the most important squares in the city of San Marino is certainly Piazza della Libertà. It is located not far from the main front door, on a strategically beautiful spot. Located in a central area, this square overlooks some of the most important buildings of the city such as the Palazzo Pubblico, the Parva Domous and the Angels houses (of the 14. century), while the fourth side is a belvedere on the magnificent hills of the Republic, one beautiful balcony on the view on the Montefeltro. Precisely because of this strategic position and because of its size, it is often the site of events such as concerts and fairs. A great place to enjoy the charms of San Marino. Exactly in the center of the square it is possible to notice the fountain with the famous Statua della Libertà di San Marino ( Statue of Liberty of San Marino ), a work in white marble from Carrara, by the sculptor Stefano Galletti, donated to the city by the countess Otilia Heyroth Wagener as a symbol of freedom. Several times during the day in the this main square of the Guardia di Rocca alternating guards. Their uniforms are striking and very cheerful. They are dressed in dark green jackets with white knits and have red pants. Wonderfully.
