The presentations are thoughtful and creative. Wait staff is lovely and engages on a perfect level. We love dining here!

Deluxe 1717 is a wonderful French bistro-style restaurant in Pasadena. I’ve been a few times and the food is gourmet quality. Tonight we had Watermelon Poke Salad - a perfect start to the meal on a warm August evening. Then the gnocchi - wow. The atmosphere is wonderful, and that’s due to the attentive, friendly staff and the graciousness and friendly face of the owner, Onil. He is a talented man and so sweet and lovely. This place is a gem. Seek it out and don’t forget the desserts - they’re all incredible!!

I drove by this restaurant last Thursday and saw that it was packed. We decided to give it a try and LOVED it! The Cuban inspired cuisine incredibly fresh and flavorful. Our favorites were the crispy green beans and the Cuban bowl. The staff was incredibly kind and gracious. The genuinely wanted to share their delicious food with us and make sure we were happy and satisfied.

The best kept secret in Pasadena. It’s my favourite restaurant in the area. The menu is wonderful and everything I’ve eaten was perfectly executed. Great wine list and offering is well priced. The service is excellent. Overall a wonderful experience and everyone I’ve recommended this place to has loved it. Give it a try.

Wow! I randomly found this place and it’s fantastic. Definitely a hidden gem. Loved the asian fish and chips but unfortunately forgot to take a pic! Everything on the menu looked amazing and I will definitely be back to try something new.

Best restaurant in Pasadena! Got a variety of dishes because everything sounded yummy. I’ll write about the highlights although everything was delicious. OMG, the gnocchi was fantastic. Creamy and flavorful; I was sad I shared because I wanted it all. Barramundi was cooked to perfection, crispy skin and moist fish. Had a delicious and reasonably priced bottle of Spanish wine. Peach and blueberry crumble was a perfect balance between the crust and the fruit with the right amount of butter and sweetness to make me very, very happy.

Deluxe 1717 is a pure and hidden gem! Onil and his staff are working hard to make sure your experience is incredible, and ours was! The gnocchi was outstanding! The summer salad was fresh and flavorful, the chocolate pie was to die for. They also offer an extensive selection of wine and beer. 5 stars all the way!! ♥️

This is one of the best restaurants in Pasadena! The menu is wonderful and varied, with a great wine list. I had the Cuban Bowl and loved it! Owner Onil Chibas, manager Cat and one of the servers, Chris, provided really friendly and excellent customer service and I will be back. Sweet, quaint restaurant with indoor and outdoor tables. i'm so glad this place is in the neighborhood!
