Deliciously tasty vietnamese vegetarian food. This hole in the wall restaurant is easy to miss if you are passing by on Garvey, but be sure to stop by as this food is tried and true as authentic food gets. Waiters dont speak amazing English so you might need to point at some pictures if that's all you speak. Lunch time gets packed so you might need to wait.

This is a rare find and gem in South El Monte! If you're looking for vegetarian/vegan Vietnamese food, this is the place for you. Super affordable, fresh quality, and delicious. I ordered the popular dish Bun Bo Hue, Shredded Pork Spring Rolls, and a sugarcane drink. Total was $21.30. My thoughts: Bun Bo Hue ($7): yum! I'm not an expert on this dish but the broth was yummy, great seasoning, enough spices (not too spicy), and big portion. Great amount of veggie meats, bean curd, mushrooms, and comes with a separate bag of shredded cabbage, bean sprouts, lemon, and basil. Amazing quality and value Shredded Pork Spring Rolls ($7 / 4x): really yummy and comes with what seems to be a vegan fish sauce along with pickled carrots and radish as a side. Very fresh and filling Sugarcane drink: I was most excited for this because it has been a long time since I've had sugarcane juice. It was very light, refreshing, not sweet at all and was infused with kumquat! My first time having it like this and was a good mix! When I first saw the portion, thought "wow. $5 for such a big cup!" Only to find out that they fill the cup with ice MORE THAN halfway. Bummer but still delicious. Overall, YES PLEASE ORDER FROM VEGGIE LIFE. Very yummy. Please note: they speak limited English so cannot be too detailed or ask too many questions over the phone with them.

Great recommendations from owner. Friendly cozy atmosphere. Food is vibrant lot of color and flavor really fresh and hearty. Like most spots in the SGV everything priced from 4.95-13.95. This is really quality food come by and have a bite share good times.

This is hands down the best vegan Asian food in Los Angeles. We eat here weekly. We love it so much. Serving sizes are great. We love duck noodle soup and lemongrass chicken.

I love this place. I've been going since I was a little kid (that was 20+ years ago). The staff and service is always so friendly and attentive. I love their Bún Chả Giò Chay. It's my regular order! They have a solid selection of Vegan Vietnamese food and very affordable prices. If you're looking for real Vietnamese Vegan food, this is the spot!

Excellent vegan Vietnamese food. However, there is a huge bug problem. We've encountered roaches and other bugs here multiple times. Yesterday, I had a house roach crawling on my pants during dinner. I think it fell on me from under the table. My partner also found a live bug in the food and another crawling across the floor. This is such a shame since the food here is so good. I hope they figure out the bug issue. Until they do, we won't be coming back for a while.

Have enjoyed every visit and am not a vegetarian; I like good vegetarian food as well as flesh food and want to eat less meat, so was pleasantly surprised at how much the chicken won tons tasted like real chicken. The ham rolls were very impressive too and also enjoyed the fried bean curd rolls, stuffed mushrooms were yummy. Definitely a place to return to. Chicken won ton soup my favorite so far.

I just tried some dishes and both were excellent. The price was important for me and they get 5 stars. The portions were huge. Thank-you veggie 😋 life. I can take some home. I moved away but will remember this place.

It’s a small family business and honestly it gave a feeling of being part of a big family. Food is amazing, the staff is wonderful. To give you an example, when we walked in the staff were cutting fresh veggies in the back. That alone gave me confidence the food was going to be amazing! Support small family owned businesses! COVID bankrupted way too many! Save the ones we still have!

I absolutely loved the deep fried mushrooms. Good size and when you bite into them they aren't too oily. I'm a ranch guy though. Beyond that, I had the lemon grass chicken, fantastic, little salty for me (not salt guy), and the best part is that my stomach felt great afterwards. Highly recommend as a vegetarian, wife and her parents had the soups and popcorn chicken.

Me and my sibling went to get soup. I was trying to introduce him to vegan food because it was his first time. That was not the food impression I was trying to leave. It had a weird flavor, we got some soup with mock meat. It tasted like dirty socks. We could not finish it. I am surprised of all the great reviews but it was pretty gross.

Incredibly delicious vegan Vietnamese food. Very fresh ingredients and great service, low prices and great value. Highly recommend. Love their Pho, Banh Xeo, and Rice with “Meat” dishes.
