To put it simply: Gold Line is one of the greatest bars in the world. Period. What an experience to come here. I plan visits to LA just to sit at this bar. It’s more than a bar. Not to be cliche but it’s an experience. You’ll get a master class in great cocktails and amazing music. This is a place where you learn simply by being here and allowing yourself to listen in. You’ll discover something every time. Cheers to you, Gold Line. Until we meet again!

This station is a block away from the very first Forever 21 store. It's also probably one of the stations as outside has flower gardens by the sitting area.

S/o to Peanut Butter Wolf! If you're unfamiliar with the moniker, this is Chris Manak's bar. The founding father of the independent record label "Stones Throw Records" based out of Los Angeles, California. Fun fact: stones throw headquarters used to be right up stairs. Love all the signed photographs PB from the cure, to gary wilson, biz markie, digable planets, the residents, and everything in between. It is a unique bar offering highballs and simple three-ingredient cocktail classics, plus rare whiskey, mezcal, and natural wine, much like a Japanese hifi bar but given a California lens. Some great drinks to try would be any of their "highballs", "the Charizma" (named after his best friend and late rapper Charizma. rest in beats) the "OOO WE YEAH" and the "orbit". There's a couple cool spots next door. To the right is the artform studio owned by Adrian Younge. To the left is the concert venue "the lodge room". When in Highland Park, check out these 3 spots. But make sure you bring your dancing shows as the music being played is all vinyl. They have an awesome Marantz sound system. Random acts have DJ sets there weekly. The bar features 8000 of Peanut butter wolfs personal record collection. There's a nice elegant lounge area in the back.

Sat down in front of both bar tenders. Bar wasn’t full. Trevor even acknowledged me to the other bartender and they continued to ignore me. Waited about 8 minutes before I decided to leave. They were helping other pale folks around me while ignoring me. Dbag even had a smirk on his face when I looked back. Trash.

The Goldline is a truly special place. The vibe is very welcoming and relaxing. Great music is always being played by a variety of excellent DJ's. The staff members are phenomenal and the selection of drinks are top notch. This is the kind of place that once you are there, you are in no hurry to leave.

Very swanky! I would bring a group of friends here, or a great date night spot. They’re famous for their whiskey highball which I had never heard of before. But order that!

The vibe and beats at Gold Line are legit. Impressive sound system, vinyl collection, and awesome DJ’ing. The only thing, for my tastes, is I’d avoid it on a busy Friday or Saturday night because you’re packed like sardines, crammed against one side of the bar or the other, and it’s almost impossible to get service at the bar with so many people waiting. So, I’d go on more of a chill weeknight.

VINYL! God, nothing better than the sound of vinyl. And I love a dark bar! We got there at 5:30pm on a Thursday before the crowd and it was still sunny outside. The music was 70s funk/disco and the handsome bartenders were grooving to it. But with the gigantic vinyl collection you could hear any kind of music. 2 single person clean bathrooms. I only gave it 4 stars because I didn’t care for my margarita but I should have ordered whiskey or their specialities. My friends liked their drinks a lot.

Been there several times now and have always had a good time. The music is great! Wish that dance floor was poppin more though. I write this review with a hangover. But this is my new go to spot regardless.

Tons of fun drinks here but the music is pretty loud for a non-dancing bar. Tons of different music options and the interior is super funky. I like grabbing outdoor seating here if it’s available

Incredible that Highland Park has yet another amazing bar. Really liked the atmosphere and vibe of the place and it stands out as unique amongst all the cool newish bars in the area. The Figueroa strip is definitely the place to be if you want to dine and bar hop. Went on a Friday night and the place was crowded (in a good way). Went for a beer as I'd already been drinking but I do want to go back and try some cocktails. DJ booth at one end of the bar. A roomier seating area at the back. It's just next door to the HomeState tacos and just down the block from Cafe Birdie. Drink responsibly and come on the Train! Gold Line Highland Park station only a block or two away.

Good drinks. Sometimes hard to get due to customer-bartender ratio. But worthwhile if you’re patient.

Love this place. And there is a chance you can see a Stones Throw artist DJing or just chillin. Mai Tai was bomb!

Great bar with great music. Dark and intimate setting and they play vinyl records. Gets crowded on a Saturday night

interesting to visit a place where the dj spins hip hop samples, the walls are covered with hip hop legends yet all bartenders are white and im pretty sure the friday night female bartender is about 45% racist toward men of color.

Really nice bar. Drink menu maybe the best on Fig. Highballs Caipirinhas Margarita classic Martini. A bar that has Japanese Whiskey and Cashaca on deck? Good to go. Check it out.

Shoutout to the bartender Gabriel 🇧🇷! He is the top notch barista who can whip you up a cocktail in a blink of an eye. This man did wonders with my Trago Coqueto. I’m picky with my tequila and during a busy hour he had no problem walking me through the excellence of his craft. The atmosphere here was the total vibe I needed for a Saturday night. I’m truly speechless at the incredible feel, ambience and energy of this venue. If you like music and with some volume this is your scene. Low lit with an incredible intimacy aroma throughout the rear end of the establishment. The cocktails are 1 of 1 and they do not promote any of their drinks online. It’s all about being in that moment. Stop by and check them out! If you get a chance to meet Gabriel tip him beyond percentages. He’s worth it 🤞🏾

One of my favorite spots in highland park and probably in LA. You get all the feeling of a Japanese vinyl bar, plus great cocktails and great music.

A charming bar with soft lighting and nostalgic vibes—perfect for a date. They spin tunes from their vinyl collection.
