We came without a reservation for a party of 9 and we were graciously taken care of within 30-45 minutes. Tequila Sours were on point, service was wonderful. We were celebrating a birthday and we were able to get a private area/table upstairs. Experience overall was a 10!

Yummy food and really good service. Pretty much every one that worked there greeted us and took care of us. Great for a quick bite or a long romantic dinner. The Thai salad and fried chicken were so yummy. My husband loved his old fashioned and I got a virgin blackberry mule (off menu but really really good!). I would definitely come back!

Went for lunch. We were seated upstairs, which was perfect to have a conversation. We ordered the asparagus fries. Crispy & not greasy. You can appreciate the asparagus flavor. We split the Thai spicy salad. It was spicy, but the Thai basil & the peanut dressing were the stars. It didn't need the chicken. The best was the ribeye melt. The meat was cooked perfectly. They asked for a preference of doneness. The sourdough was crusted with parmesan. With a side of horseradish that was perfectly paired for this sandwich.

Food and service were outstanding! A really nice option for a different lunch or a dinner date. Price is fair. Our server, Daniel, was extremely polite and attentive! What a good experience in Pasadena!

Love this place. Great food. Good atmosphere. Our waiter Kevin W is so nice and attentive. Great service. We ordered the steakhouse salad. Rib eye melt literally Mets in you mouth. Prime rib dip sandwich and the San Francisco Cioppino seafood mixed bowl all delicious. What else can you ask for. Very highly recommended.

Nicks offers a great and well polished dining experience with a versatile menu. Favorite dishes are definitely the ribeye sandwich and the asparagus fries. Atmosphere is great, with a nice balance between natural lighting and indoor lights. Staff was extremely friendly, but the service was on the slower side of places I’ve been to. Waited 1 hour for a burger we ordered and had to cancel it since it took too long. Food - 16/20 Atmosphere - 8/10 Service - 6/10 Total - 30/40 - great restaurant - worth the trip if you are in Pasadena.

Great ambiance and fair price on the menu. It's a small menu in my opinion but covers the basic variety. The staff and service is top notch. Easy parking is also a big plus.

Kind of a lady minute thing...my BF brought me here for my birthday lunch. We had dinner reservations so decided to split a house salad and the Chippino. Party in your mouth, specially with the fresh baked bread . Anyways....more importantly I was impressed with the unbelievable service which is hard to come by these days. Esther who was out bartender and server and Even who was also serving us were polite, please tell and just a breath of fresh air. To top off all that and the amazing atmosphere, they put a candle on my amazing butter cake and served me with a sweet birthday card signed by the staff. I was so touched. Can't wait yo come back. Mayra the manager came by to check on us and was so kind and considerate. This place is a different world. Happy birthday to me

Nick’s Pasadena, I was inspired to widen my taste buds, I was impressed by all the flavor combinations, my family and I left with happy stomachs, everything was exquisite. delicious, my husband is linear about the flavors especially when it comes to soups, he ordered San Francisco cioppino, soup with a variety of seafood very good in flavor and texture, baby back pork ribs were exquisite Very soft and delicious meat I would return and order the same dish, well and to finish I can't stop talking about their desserts, soft and exquisite, ah !! And I do not want to stop expressing how friendly, cordial, of all its service personnel, people who know what their job is, guide you with suggestions about their dishes, oh I also forgot about their drinks, variety of drinks. To top it off, the atmosphere is perfect for the day or night, as well as for a dinner with your partner or a family member. It is an incredibly spectacular place.

Friendly and knowledgeable staff, cozy ambiance and exquisite food. Drinks were also superb! Personal faves are the asparagus fries and mai tai to start, ribeye melt and cioppino, but you really can’t go wrong with anything on their menu. My husband and I love it here!

It was a Monday night and it took honestly forever to get food!! The bass fish was really good. The fried chicken had nothing but batter not much chicken. Overall a 3. The worst part is DONT B IN A HURRY OR B VERY HUNGRY WHEN U GO!! ONE VISIT WAS ENOUGH FOR ME. NOT IMPRESSED.

Highly recommend the prime rib sandwich and the watermelon jalapeño margarita. Both were excellent and the sandwich was very filling. Service was excellent, very attentive and nice.

Nick’s is our go to for American food. Last night , we ordered cioppino , seared Chilean sea bass and the ribeye melt. The first 2 are as delicious as ever. The sandwich is very savory but needed a little acid to neutralize its richness. The lemon cake and warm butter cake are a nice finish to the meal. The service is always polite and efficient here.

Expected Nick's to be an elegant restaurant that served great food. Was pretty disappointed by the service and food. Everything looked great, but they didn't taste great. Service from when we stepped into the restaurant was questionable. We heard the hostess tell everybody that the wait was going to be an hour and a half. Servers don't yield for the patrons in narrow hallways, they just brush by you very quickly. Can't get more water without waving down waiters. There's more incidents, but I don't need to go into detail. NOTE: there is no bread service Chilean sea bass - no flavor, and the side mashed potatoes were made for someone on a strict diet (no salt, no butter, no flavor) Kale salad - the best dish and very flavorful Tuna Tartare - this was good, but the chips were so stale SF seafood cioppino - not bad, but there was no seabass and the accompanying sourdough was not sourdough. It was just a flavorleas crispy dough of bread. Truffle Flat bread - this was good, but no truffle flavor. Steak and potatoes. Can't say anything good. Really, how do you go wrong with baked potatoes? Butter cake - way too sweet

We enjoyed a lovely dinner here. Great seafood & cocktails. Their asparagus fries are a must try! We went with the Chilean Sea Bass & Alaskan Halibut, both seasoned & cooked to perfection. Staffing were attentive & gave us recommendations. We sat on the 2nd floor, which gave nice views of the restaurant/bar & easier access to the restrooms. Very impressed with the overall ambiance.

Enjoyed the dining experience here. Decor is modern and has a nice anesthetic to it. It can be really busy during the weekends. Highly recommend reserving online. Even with the large crowds, the noise level was a nice conversational volume. Which makes the dining experience more enjoyable. Food and service were solid. Really enjoyed my kale salad and the shrimp taquitos.

Grilled Mahi sandwich was fantastic and so was the generous portion side salad that was included. Cheeseburger was perfectly prepared to medium rare and french fries were hot! Service was excellent.

I cannot say enough good things about Nicks. We have been wanting to try it for sometime and so glad we finally did. Firstly the service is amazing! The wait staff, management, and even kitchen staff are all so friendly and thoughtful of the customer experience. Next, the food was INCREDIBLE! Got this chicken sandwich and was not only blown away by the flavor, but the portion was extremely filling. Lastly, the ambiance - the interior has a nice chic feel while still maintaining an atmosphere for casual dining. Can't wait to come back!
