Garfield park has nice open fields that are great for tossing the ball ๐Ÿˆ around or plenty of privacy for tossing the cookies if you get too hot ๐Ÿฅต!! Nice park for the kiddos and lots of walking paths for the exerciserโ€™s out there!

Garfield Park is equipped with three levels of children's play grounds: from toddler to 4 or 5 year olds and maybe 6 to 12 year olds. You can take an infant to preteen age kids to enjoy the park. Green grass is cut regularly. Tall trees give aplenty shades. I especially like sand boxes for children to play with sands. At about 11: 00 a.m., there would be many people at the park.

The kids I nanny for need a shady park to play. This park offers exactly that, with a giant tree in the middle, loads of places to sit around the park, and public restrooms. The neighborhood is so cute, its also good for walking around in. Absolutely would recommend.

Wonderful park that has many activities for both kids and adults. Lots of trees that provide shade during those hot days. Well kept bathrooms near the kids playground. Pavilion area next to the kids playground has plenty of tables and also a two barbecues along with a water fountain and water bottle fill station. Plenty of benches along the wall path and tennis courts on the North end of the park. Quite a few grassy open spaces.

My boys grew up going to this park. Weโ€™ve had many a birthday party, and picnic here. Itโ€™s very well kept. Tons of shade, huge gorgeous trees, lots of space. The playground is smaller, but nice and shaded by a big beautiful, easily climbable tree. Thereโ€™s a small covered pavilion complete with a little stage and 2 small public park grills. Bathrooms are always clean, walkable distance to shops and restaurants. Great place to walk after a nice local dinner. Donโ€™t forget to check out the little childrenโ€™s garden at the end of the park on Grevelia, past the tennis courts. Also, great neighborhood events in the summer months.

The Garfield Park Gazebos are a nice facet of Garfield Park in South Pasadena. There are picnic tables for families and for small events, and there are also powered outdoor power outlets, for people to plug in or charge devices. A great park.

Beautiful park. The grass is green and healthy, perfect for picnics! There is lots of shade. The bathrooms are pretty gross, but thatโ€™s how all parks are. The playground is fun for kids. There are gazebos that you can sit down at, and there are great quality tennis courts. Love this park!

I love this park. It is the park of my childhood. On Fridays during this pandemic I bring my camping chairs, folding table, ice chest and take out food to the park with my friend. It's always so nice to people watch, pet watch, bird watch, and just enjoy the peaceful beauty.

This park is like a dream. The grass is lush and the vibes are good. Everyone is friendly and there's a little dog community but with enough room to spare. The trees are beautiful and big. There was a nice man named Eric with a bird playing music and he allowed the children to try the instruments. My son also met two little girls making jewelry so we paid for a handmade bracelet. Parking is easy and everyone is friendly. The only downside is the bathrooms are unkempt and all smell like pee.

Love the open green space!!! Garfield park is a nice little neighborhood park that we enjoyed in the area. Itโ€™s clean and well-kept. And I liked that the walking path is not close to the street, itโ€™s a relatively quieter park. Even though there are plenty of benches in the park, I still saw lots of people bringing their own camping chairs and picnic mats relaxing on the grass. Vibes and atmosphere were so peaceful out there. Good for families and pets. (Yes, doggie friendly!) Not to mention, there is also a tennis court and a playground in the park.

Most amazing park I've been to, been going since I was small. Great playground that's easy to memorize and get around, lots to do, picnics and grass area is great for playing soccer, Frisbee, walking your dog, etc. Has restrooms. Tennis courts are often open, but they can be reserved as well. Events are common, the gazebos always have at least 1 birthday per day, and community hosted events happen all the time. Music man comes often and plays music for the kids.

Great local public park open to everyone. Fun summer concerts and shows! You can reserve picnic tables for birthday parties and thereโ€™s always extra picnic tables that are first come first served ! Playground equipment is safe and diverse ! Welcome to South Pasadena ๐Ÿฅฐ

One of my favorite park. It is small but very clean and peaceful. There is a tennis court that is not too busy during week days. Some good spots for BBQ. I love that they have a free book station that you can exchange your book and get to read a new book for free. Overall I think it's a great park.

Big, Clean, Green and a good place to take the children. Bathrooms were fresh and clean! Parking is hard to find, but other than that, I would say, go there and enjoy!

Such a beautiful space. I often see families having birthday parties here. I'm thinking of having my son's next birthday party here as well. The park is clean and beautiful. My favorite park to bring my son and watch him play.

Weird place. Won't let anyone in. You stand outside and tell them what you want and they get it for you. Kinda makes you feel like an alcoholic, who knows everything for sale and just what they want without looking around first except for true boozers? The owner must have their brain soaked in booz?
