This was a wine tour beyond compare. Aldo gave us a tour of the farm and the winery. This a the most fascinating, underground winery. The architecture, design and atmosphere of this place was like a medieval castle. I felt like any moment that King Arthur or some Mayan King was likely to stride through the tasting room. The tour, the guide, and the owner were fantastic. If you ever have a chance, make the effort to visit this out of the way winery. You will NOT be disappointed!

I don't recommend this place for anything in the world, because the person who supports herself as the owner is CLASSIST and RACIST, in addition to having bad manners, because, in her opinion, she believes she is right in the poor treatment she does when receiving visitors; They forget that the VISITOR IS PAYING FOR A PLEASANT AND UNIQUE EXPERIENCE. The pseudo-owner believes in her mind that only her peanuts thunder, and that what she says should be done. From the beginning THEY ARE RACIST AND CLASSIST, since people flaunt their DISCONTENT IN YOUR PERSON, BECAUSE YOU ARE NOT THE AVERAGE VISITOR, AND YOU ARE NOT OF THE AVERAGE COLOR, treating you with fear; During the stay, in the guided tour, there are spaces to respect or attend to basic rules of education and manners, which the pseudo owner herself does not respect and when politely asking her not to do so, she ignores you, treating you with arrogance. BAD PLACE, SHAME, IT WAS MY SECOND VISIT AND IT WAS A TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE. It should be noted that since it is a tour to a wine cellar, it is a closed and echoey place, so any word or whisper that a person outside the tour says is heard too much and interrupts the guide's attention... it's a shame that the owner doesn't understand that a paid tour with a guide requires silence to enjoy it......the very arrogant owner believes that she may be talking about things unrelated to it during the tour ...an empty head

Astounding experience. Feminine-centric organic self-sustaining vineyard. Mystical statues of monks, nuns, gargoyles all over the place. Kitchen is a replica of a nineteenth century with fabulous lunches. Their man-made wine Cavern is 14 m down where it maintains the perfect temperature for the Aging wine. And look for the meteorite! Even better now

I live in San Miguel and adore Toyan. What the owner, Martha, is creating there is visionary, holistic and absolutely inspiring! This is a magical place not to be missed when visiting San Miguel de Allende. Don't miss it!!

This is a must do in San Miguel de Allende, make sure you call to make a reservation, they open kind of late. The service is great and we even met the owner, she was really nice. The cava is amazing!!! They take you downstairs and show you around, then they give you a wine tasting and cheese at the most beautiful tasting room. No flash is allowed.

A unique vineyard in San Miguel de Allende, offers you an experience in a medieval cellar in the basement of the vineyard. Outside it has very beautiful fields with European motifs. Highly recommended to go with your partner, family and children. The only thing they have to improve is the food they offer, it is really very basic and greasy.

Friends took us to see this amazing place just outside of SMA. The vineyard is a young 25 yrs old. Our guide was Spanish speaking, but kindly spoke slowly for me and my friend translated the harder parts😉. The caves are the highlight (in low lighting). Followed by tasting of 4 wines paired with tapas. We did buy 2 reds (not all that inexpensive) that are young. Will let them mature when we get home...when we finally serve them, we will uncork the memories of an enjoyable day with good friends!

The vineyard has a medieval theme and its cellar is spectacular. You can even organize a romantic dinner or with friends, each wine has its special touch; and with the cheese tasting they are exquisite. They are pet friendly. They have some dogs that are friendly and the kittens because if you start giving them food you won't get rid of them anymore hehe, the service on the tour is very good and they have several farm animals. I give it 5 stars ⭐️ because the vineyard is worth it and the whole experience, however we ate there in the open-air restaurant and I was very disappointed with the food. Maybe the pizzas we didn't order are better but in that area they would have to improve. The bathrooms are spacious and you can see that they clean them often, which is appreciated. I had a great time and the place has many symbolisms that relax and “disconnect” you from everyday life.

It's a great experience. Visually especially. Wine like you've never tasted before it's all organic. But there are a couple that are very good.

Absolutely incredible experience in this hidden gem in beautiful San Miguel de Allende, every corner of this incredible place is completely “out of this world”… The underground cellar is worth everything! Thank you always beloved Mexico 🇲🇽

It was a unique experience, the whole process was very interesting, from the history of the reason for the statues and gargoyles, the harvest, the type of grapes, the production of the wine... how they take on the color red, white, pink and even orange. . The underground cellar is incredible, the tapas and wine are delicious and everything is very well explained :) Highly recommended! <3

The beautiful place from the point of view of nature. The medieval-style facilities - gloomy… The food is simple, not very good and the service is slow. And we didn't love the Cabernet.

We went on. Tuesday, staff was not available., No one greeted us. We were the only ones in the entire winery. We were there at noon. Finally someone helped us. We did the taste test of 4 wines. They were all truly bad. We got a small plates of hors”douvres to go with wine. We did not buy any wine! Truly all were bad.

I called and made a reservation for a tour, got a taxi to go , when 3 of us got got there the lady I called to give the tour said she forgot she had something else to do. and said no tour today. waisted our morning on vacation, and money for the taxi. she was sitting in the office talking to another lady and no time for a quick tasting when we arrived . our morning was ruined . we planned a tour, tasting and lunch. I made the reservation one hour before we got there. My worst experience in San Miguel . Wanted to visit several vineyards in San Miguel and surrounding areas , but this first one completely turned off the 3 of us to try any . To bad we had some great wine in town. Wine is our thing. We will do other things and have a few glasses of wine in town. The 3 of us planned to spend 1000s on wine each at The vineyards. The good side is we have more money. We don't have much time on vacation here and don't want to risk wasting time on broken appointments, and reservations at any more vinyards.
