Magnificent place to take a time out and just walk around the grounds and behind the woods... a place for nature lovers... amazed to see such a peaceful place amidst busy Mexico City. Prepare for long walk along the perimeter. Take some peanuts for the cute little, lovely and most friendly, squirrels who would follow you on the woods! Don't forget to enjoy this beautiful place when you get a chance.

Water is full of trash, odd geometrically spaced trees, closes at 6 and they wont let you in after 5. More biodiversity on the streets than in the park. Really nice for early morning jogs among many other people. Witnessed two teenage girls run to the police after being robbed at gun point

Beautiful and relaxing park. They are closing at 5 pm now (as of August 10, 2022), which is a shame. Also they are doing checks of backpacks for "unauthorized food and beverage" - so no picnics. Still - a lovely and large green space that many love to visit.

A tranquil retreat from the urban bustle of CDMX. No touts, no vendors, just a beautifully maintained forest, with gravel walking paths.

Great park in the middle of the city, popular with runners and walkers. No pets or bikes allowed. Bicycle parking at Gate 1 (southwest corner).

I believe last time I visited this park was 8 years ago, I am happy to found this place in same condition, and even more forest guards, thank you to all that contribute to keep this place green and clean

One of the few green spots in CDMX and it already receives stars for that. It has a few jewels, but overall this city deserves much better parks than this.

Perfect place to run. Many runners here. Run outside course if you want to run with other guy. You can also just walk around the park. Must visit.

You can’t enter the park with a camera in your bag, even if you have no intention or interest of using it. But a smartphone is okay. Strange to say the least.

For those of us that crave trees and nature in the middle of one of the largest cities in the world, this is your place. It’s a forest in the middle of the charming neighborhood of Coyacan. It’s approximately 1 mile, less than 2 km, around the trail.

I really love this place, I can take a morning running or just go for a relaxing day. I have to add that it's very clean and secured.

Great place if you want to go for a run but not really a park for tourists, as there is really nothing there except trees and running paths.

A lot of people, but the place is big enough to do a quiet and pleasant walk. Great place for running and also for kids learning to explore nature.

They call this park the 'lungs of Mexico City' for good reason. It's huge, a great place to run/walk and relax in nature. You can forget that you are in a Supercity when inside this magical park.

One of the most important lungs in the city. Full with many species of trees and other plants. Perfect place to do jogging, yoga and even performing arts in it's small amphitheater.

  • 5/5 Krithika M. 2 years ago on Google
Large leafy park. Free to enter. Good for joggers. No dogs allowed inside. The only entry at present is from Gate 1 in the corner of Av Progreso where it meets Av Universidad. The only exit is from Gate 3 located at the corner where Calle madrid meets Av mexico. The parking is on the side of the streets only. Plenty of good restaurants near the exit. Also a huge collection of shops selling a variety of potted plants close to the exit; has its own small parking area, no access from this nursery into the park. It is best to park car somewhere close to exit, walk around 12 min along the outside perimeter of the park to enter it from gate 1. Then one can buy plants and take it to their car easily or visit one of the restaurants. Several activities like yoga classes and martial arts training was happening inside the park. Not too many open spaces but enough to have a picnic or throw a frisbee. Hundreds of friendly squirrels!
