(Translated by Google) The truth is that the waiting times in the cubicle in the emergency room are exaggerated. We started with a doctor but ended with another, he never told us that he was leaving or that he would leave us like someone else. In the end I understood that they leave you waiting so long because they are going to charge you for the use of the cubicle, in other emergency departments of other hospitals this does not happen! They told us in 20 minutes something would be done, and it ended up spending more than an hour and so in total we stayed a couple of hours. And there were no people in the ER! The medicine that I don't know if I needed (because it didn't improve), they charge you more than double and in the end they couldn't or didn't want to help the patient. I thought that since it is a children's hospital, it would really matter to them that they are well and that they are attended with agility and quality, more for what they charge you. I would not go back, very expensive and I have to pay for a pediatrician because in the end they tell you, go to your pediatrician and then what do you pay for?

(Translated by Google) Of the places that have really impressed me with their service and attention. Great place, nice and great location. Easy access. The service is effective and efficient so the waiting time is not long. Highly recommended. It does not have its own parking lot. Nearby there are parking meter drawers for your use. Altamente recomendable. No cuenta con estacionamiento propio. The Peditrician this Sunday was terrible as my daughter had 39 fever and he charged 2500 pesos and just checked on her with her apparatus and said it’s a viral. He did not make any tests nothing. Today we went back because she was with the same fever and after doing tests we figured out she has pneumonia. This is the second time it’s happened to us. So we paid 3 times in 2 days because of the ignorance of the doctor this Sunday. It may have been too late. Completely unprofessional. The name of the doctor of Sunday was Yoliannu Mujica Lopez. Absolutely rubbish.

Our gyno for my pregnant wife his service was fine until we told him we are moving to another city. At the same point we were arranging int health insurance and asked him for a letter. The letter was written by a bitter person and simply incorrect including 'conclusions' that were not certain at all that not even fall within his specialization (and are now already completely disproven). The hospital has also horrible protocol with letting people in telling us to leave our daughter alone outside bec she cant enter the consult. Absolute bs and with zero logic (yes she is fully healthy and with mouthcovers etc just like us) My conclusion is to avoid this poor hospital and even poorer service and its doctors.

The first admitting doctor was attentive, but we had to wait a long time for a specialist to help with the broken leg, but obviously, he wasn't really a specialist because HE had to wait another hour for someone to help teach him how to put a cast on. The cast was not put on properly and it was put on with no pain relievers other than a bit of Motrin (we ended up needing to go to another hospital to have surgery to get the cast removed and his leg set properly). The nurses were simply gossiping as my son cried in his bed, they didn't attend him again unless I asked for something. My son was brought home and he screamed for hours, and he has a really high pain tolerance. I tried calling the specialist doctor twice to talk about the pain but he wasn't available (not that I would really have trusted him anyway, he didn't know how to put on a cast!). The doctor that I did talk to in emergency didn't sound the least bit empathetic or interested in what I was describing. I knew the pain wasn't normal because my other son had broken his leg the same way previously. I feel that I was also dismissed because I had hard time communicating- I am a foreigner that speaks Spanish but there were bits that I wanted clarified and she sounded irritated like I was wasting her time. It turns out that I was correct, his leg was not normal and he never should have left the hospital the way he did. We went to a specialist we trust and they showed how badly the leg had been set (it was off by 20 degrees), telling us that if he had been sedated or given some better pain relievers along with x-rays to guide the casting process my son would not have had to go through with surgery later. If we didn't have the surgery, he would have walked like a penguin for the rest of his life. By the way, getting a cast done at Star Medica hospital with its incompetencies was almost DOUBLE the price of Angeles del Pedegral, where we went with my other son. Overall, I would NOT recommend this hospital to anybody.

(Translated by Google) Excellent medical attention !!! (Doctors, nurses, resident doctors) and all the very friendly staff: quartermaster, security, administration ... high-level facilities. They operated on my daughter and took good care of her. From time to time medical personnel came to check her and verify that she was well. I am very happy with the hospital. Thanks Star Medica! (Translated by Google) It is a great hospital, it has a very human treatment and highly trained specialists. Its facilities are very well maintained and are of excellent quality. The rooms where they recover after an operation (if they remain hospitalized) have everything you need for your little patient to have a great recovery, the floor has a reception; also with doctors and nurses who are all day looking after your patient so that he feels better and recovers, the food is excellent and made especially for the needs of your patient. At all times they are on the lookout which I appreciate very much since they made us feel good and safe at all times. Edit: I’m editing this review because of the useless reply StarMedica wrote below. I shared all my experience here already. You don’t need to know the patient’s name, the doctors or nurses that treated my child. We had only praises for the professional team. My criticisms were not related to them. My criticism and what you need to fix is the management of your hospitality and “cleanliness” of the hospital. Also, if I wrote on this particular branch of Star Medica, then it obviously means that we were at the Nápoles branch. Stop writing useless computer generated replies. This private hospital has some good, professional and kind doctors and nurses. We have only been treated with the utmost respect by the majority of the staff and for that we are grateful and appreciative of the doctors and nurses who work here. The room service for food is not bad. The food was quite tasty, but I had a piece of black hair in my salad. We even complained to the man who came to pick up our food cart. He apologized and said that he would inform whoever was responsible. Aside from the hair in my food, the biggest downside to this hospital (in my opinion) is the hospitality service one gets when having to admit their child for an overnight stay. Even though we have premium insurance, we found it very weird that it did not cover the sofa bed that the guardian has to sleep on in order to accompany their child. We had to pay $600+ extra for a lousy sofa and some thin sheets and pillows that don’t even come with a pillow case. The room is nothing special. Very basic and we were unfortunate to receive a room with a dirty pillow and a dirty exhaust fan in the bathroom. Not a good first impression. So imagine finding hair in your food and having to deal with dirty pillows and exhaust fans when you are supposed to be in “clean and sterilized” location. This is unacceptable as this is a private hospital and it comes with a premium price tag. If it weren’t for the doctors and nurses who have always been more than professional and kind to us for the consultations, I would’ve given this hospital only 1 star.

Excellent service from everyone involved, from the security to the admin to the nurse and to the doctors. Our Spanish is super basic. They were able to direct us to English speaking doctor and nurse. Despite being busy, we were attended to in a timely manner. The attention given by both Dr Carlos and Dr Jimena were wonderful. They were very thorough with their examination and explanation. Muchísima gracias! Highly recommended if you have a kid that needs urgent medical attention. The only downside was the super expensive parking. We were there for about 3 hours and parking was $104. If you come with a car, better off parking at the streets.
