(Translated by Google) The mammoth museum, everything is very good, except the souvenir shop, investment is needed to improve designs and articles, they lack brochures about the museum. If you arrive by car take the "Zona Militar" exit, in Mexibus you get off at Glorieta Militar and take a taxi. Arrive early because the parking lot fills up before noon and you have to be in line to make room. The aviation museum and 2 presidential trains that you can visit are very close. Inside they ask you to use the blinkers, in the parking lot there were several cars that left them on, so you can check you won't run out of battery.

(Translated by Google) It is already a well-established museum, it has all the latest information on the discovery of mammoths in Santa Lucía.👍👍 Its name is MUSEO PALEONTOLÓGICO DE SANTA LUCÍA QUINAMÉTZIN. I recommend visiting it with your children.😉 And the best thing is that EVERYTHING IS FREE. When entering, always take precautions with the speed of the car, the military are always watching if you do not respect the limits, they call your attention. (Translated by Google) It is a totally new place (everything works) modern and incredible!!! My favorite moment was the glass floor on a stage with the bones as if they had just been found. Everything is very well designed and cared for, I think it is in the best place, at the Santa Lucia air base because it is a guarantee of preservation, all the people behave and take care. Not all the bones are on display since, as they explain, they must be in an environment. The visit is very well complemented by the Military Aviation Museum, MUMA, with incredible restored specimens and if you are lucky you will find more than one retired pilot who flew those aircraft reliving and talking about their exploits... The SEDENA Shopping Center has everything, food area, cinema, bowling alley, handicrafts, gifts, souvenirs, haberdashery, stationery, ice cream, restaurant and much more and is in service to the general public.

Great permanent exhibition, highly appreciated if you are into geology, paleontology and anthropology. There is also a nice temporary exhibition. It is located in the cultural corridor inside the military city (base/facility), so you better be ok with following rules, or just don't come. Enjoyable for a layover if you're connecting at the next door airport. There is a cafeteria inside the building or a restaurant across the street.

The place is nice place, pretty museum, looks-wise. I expected it to be much bigger as there were so many mamut's skeletons found in the zone and lots of talk about the archeology or paleontology findings versus the AiFA airport construction. Nevertheless it is an absolute shame that the group of people who built this museum gave a damn about museography aspects: as simple as writing labels and signs in a decent and professional way, instead, they did it like absolute illiterates or analphabets. There are tons os gramatical errors, tons of erros as simple as the names of places, people and things! EVEN in Spanish. an absolute shame... got proof, just look at the pictures I took during my visit: "100 million yErs".... then; is it with "H" or without it: "Chichinautzin" or "Chihinauhtzin"... ¡Absolutely NOT acceptable for a museum! The "dark" room with the projections is cool, but they missed the shot by putting building columns absolutely in the middle of the projection, not good. Personnel at the museum, both civil and military: EXCELLENT!... Every single person was kind, attentive, nice, willing to aid, help and answer anything. This was great! But, at the end, it comes to being an "ok" musem, TOO far away from Mexico City downtown as to just go and visit unless you happened to arrive/depart to/from the, (not so close passengers terminal anyway), Felipe Angeles airport (AIFA). Could be great... sad it was made with the "meh! - we don't care factor..."a la mexicana" as they say... "

I must state that despite I had expected MUCH MORE ... to see and enjoy, our visit was enjoyable. as always... too much people who do not respect distancing nor facemasks usage... As for the museum itself, I expected to see more... MORE, MORE Mammoths! I mean... reconstructed mammoths. Archeologically... talking. I expected more Archeological evidence and share! I did not expected lots of mockups! Must of the interactive screens were out of order! The souvenirs shop... was, was, was... an absolute disappoinment. I expected much more! The people... the staff at the museum was amazingly polite!!!!! Applause 👏🏻 👏🏻 👏🏻 I CANNOT SHARE PHOTOS... BECAUSE I DID NOT USE MY MOBILE; I took photos with my camera... which I have not yet downloaded.

Fantastic one year old paleontologists museum. It is practically new. There is one reconstruction of a columbine mammoth, which is fantastic, just a piece of around 300 skeletons found in the area. I hope that can put more bones of different animals. Cons, the museum is deep inside the Santa Lucia military complex. Still, it is a must to visit.

There is no admission cost, great experience to know about mammoth history. My favorite part is the passage behind the leaves curtain. I really recommend it!

It is ok. It is inside a military complex, then, you need official IDs and follow all the rules. The museum is small but there are some other exhibitions around the museum
