This pyramid was the least crowded of all the pyramids, probably because it was a little disconnected. Also, you can see some of the cool serpent heads here, which are not there are the sun and the moon pyramids.

You have to wait to get into this area but it is well worth it. Excellent restoration of murals and a courtyard.

The Pyramid of the Sun is the largest building in Teotihuacan, believed to have been constructed about 200 CE, and one of the largest in Mesoamerica.

Very beautiful. Definitely worth the trek over. We did the bus tour so we did not have to worry about taking public transport or a taxi. The tour came with a tour guide which made it much better to gain some knowledge on the architecture and the history behind the pyramids. Would highly recommend getting a tour guide. You can probably finish the whole tour in like like 3-4 hours.

The palace that you can walk around. There are some beautiful wall paintings that are preserved. The ticket to the main grounds gives you access to this palace.

Don't miss this luxury residence of the ancient Teotihuacános! The pillars are decorated with owl and quetzal motifs of great beauty and your can still see the original painted pediments. Great views of the temple of the moon from the various balconies.
