Tourist trap. Mediocre service, not a big choice for dishes and expensive. They don't offer complementary water as is mandatory in every restaurant. They charge you the tip in the bill without asking. Maybe they are needing a PROFECO visit. DON'T COME! is a shame to mexican culture and their tourist offer.

We were taken here by our tour group after a tour of the pyramids. The buffet wasn't an option due to COVID, so we all ordered off the menu. The food was OK, and pretty expensive for what you got considering everything. I knew when our van pulled up and there were a handful of tour busses parked there that it wasn't going to be very good since we drove past a bunch of other places that didn't have any tour busses. My expectations were pretty low for this place once I realized this was where all of the busses were, and I was right. I wouldn't consider this place unless you are taken here on your tour. The food is edible and all, just not very good.

Do Not Eat here! You’ll get sick. I was there part of a tour from Mexico City. The tour company took us there and suggested to get the Buffet for 250 pesos. We went for the buffet as suggested but when walked the buffet, most trays were empty and did not get to eat every thing I wanted to take. I guess it was a good thing I did not eat all because at the end, my wife and I got very bad food poisoning. We had to stay in bed for two days and was lucky to find medical guidance at a local pharmacy for the pain and poisoning. This issue made us loose many days of planning through our trip as we plan to try many things to eat but after the food poisoning we did not felt like eating much and were also scared to eat anything else, anywhere and even where discussed to eat similar items that we had at this restaurant. In short, if you don’t want to loose days of your vacation time, avoid eating here. I wish I knew this. PS, don’t fall for the expensive prices in the souvenirs shop by the restaurant, you can find cheaper prices at local stores in many places in Mexico. Do your research! Good Luck!

Very expensive for what you get, I wouldn't recommend eating here. It is definitely made for tourists.

The buffet is best when crowded, so on the weekends.

Ordered chicken and beef Molcajete Azteca. Heavily cooked meat bowl served with corn tortillas. There wasn’t any sauce. Very busy tourist location.

No vegetarian option other than very sorry excuses for salads (plain cauliflower for example). They take tips without asking.

Ended up with food poisoning later that evening. Very disappointing. Best to avoid.

I got a tuna avocado salad and orange juice with ice. Unfortunately, I got terrible food poisoning and had to go to urgent care for IV and antibiotics.

Absolutely horrible experience... Do not recommend at all!! We came as part of a tour group so I knew to expect a tourist trap but I didn't expect it to be even worse!!! Good was bland and unseasoned while charging a high premium.Oh and also, the waitstaff automatically charge 20%tip.

Food was good. Buffet is a very good option for those who are hungry. Good price vs food. But the taco stand don’t recommend it. We got stomach ache after that in the night. Taco had a weird taste, but we tough it was normal, and tried 1 piece. I recommend the buffet or the menu by itself

Buffet is ok. Salad variety is great. Hot food variety is a bit lacking. Better with crowd on weekends. Watch out for tiny bone slivers. I usually get gassy. Big gift shopping.

Buffet (200 pesos) was pretty diverse, but not super tasty. Waiters were attentive. Restrooms were clean. The food was decent, but you get what you pay for at a typical tourist trap.

Very few vegan options besides the buffet, the price is very high for the quality. The fruits were however very good.

The other reviews describing the food as mediocre and overpriced are accurate. The food options were tourist friendly (not spicy). The Mexican people on our tour pointed out how expensive the buffet was compared to the type of food you got. This is definitely a tourist trap. Our tour bus dropped us off here, but our guide didn't eat with us which should have been a sign. As we left I observed our tour guide looking at receipts with staff. Maybe they get a kick back for bringing tourists to this restaurant?

We had breakfast there after the hot air balloon ride, buffet with a number of choices (fruit, eggs, chilaquiles, pancake's, etc), not bad but not exceptional. Big bad point, the absence of soap in the men's room.

The waiter told us that the buffet was 120 pesos per person and that non-alcoholic drinks were included. When the bill came they charged us 220 pesos per person and the drinks were extra. Avoid this place like the plague.

slow service if you order from the menu environment was nice friendly waiter in the table of nine not one person had a fork that was not bent in every way for the prices they could afford to give better utensils when the food finally arrived it was okay

Not many choices for buffet. The food is awful and expensive

Being a vegetarian, the food options were limited. We had a bean soup, sopas and mushroom quesadillas, all of them were alright. Definitely try the tamarind drink, it was delicious.

Decent restaurant around the corner from Teotihuacan offering à la carte and buffet options - personally I recommend the buffet as it's cheaper than a single main/entree from the menu but the quality of food is just as good. Lots of salad and fruit options exist alongside the traditional Mexican fare, including a taco station where you can order custom tacos. A couple of waiting staff speak English here too which is reassuring for a Spanish-illiterate like me. The environment is large, open, well cooled and your meal will likely be accompanied by a mariachi band or percussionists in flamboyant traditional Native American garb. Recommended.
