A place full of energy. The whole structure is pretty impressive for the time it was built. You must go up on the pyramid and feel the energy of the earth there.. and of course a great view of the whole campus.

It's the biggest pyramid. Be prepared to climb a lot of steps and face long lines if you don't get there early!

Not what it use to be, with all the safety features that were installed, restricted access to most of the site, is not interesting anymore.

A beautiful piece of art With lots of historical value. You will be amazed by how beautiful and enormous this pyramid is. It is located not too far from the other pyramid (Pyramid of the Moon). Highly recommend bringing comfortable shoes and clothes to keep you cool during the hot days. Hats and other shade producing clothing will be very beneficial too! Don’t forget your water!

A stunning pyramid, from the ground and from the top. It's a steep climb but not too hard. Great views over the site but probably no peace - there will be a lot of people up there, including hippies having silly ceremonies.

Wow! This was the word that was constantly going through my mind as I approached, then climbed the pyramid. While the climb looks tough, it is less taxing as it looks, but it is steep. The views from the top are well worth the climb, and it is especially amazing that one can actually walk around the whole thing. The pyramid is in great shape and makes you wonder how 200.000 people once lived in this area. This excursion is well worth the trip from Mexico city...even with the pesty souvenir vendors (one of which called me 'very fat' in spanish -> assuming that non Mexicans cannot understand spanish). Water was a nice to have, but it was not an absolute necessity. Thankfully, the area wasn't too full, but it may be unbearable in the high tourism seasons.

A small plaza dwarfed by the immense pyramid of the sun that sits on top of it. For those who claim there is energy here, I tried to charge my phone here and it didn't happen. No energy, but there are lots of tourists since the plaza serves as a staging ground for climbing the pyramid.

We didn't want to walk to it so we started here. It's best to start at the Moon one but we were pressed for time. Parking is vast. Make sure to bring comfortable shoes and put on some sunblock. You are no longer able to climb up but they are still a stunning view.

This is the great pyramid of Teotihuacán and one of the largest in the world. Truly one of the marvels of the ancient world, it is very impressive. Try to go as early as possible so you can admire it in peace. Perhaps you may even see a balloon flying overhead!
