If you like partying and blasting music late into the night, this is the place for you! There were kids roaming around every night after 10 unsupervised. People riding their golf carts playing music on loud speakers. Even someone brought their go kart racing up and down the campsites. There were also political flags everywhere. I don’t think we will be going back.

So when we arrived we had some hiccups with our accommodations and the manager Glenn was very understanding and professional. He made sure we were treated like family. He took the time to listen and he tended to our request making our stay comfortable and unforgettable. We will definitely be coming back.

Stayed here years ago and remembered how terrible it was recently so I thought I'd leave a review. Pulled in here after not seeing anywhere else to go as it was getting towards the end of the day. Got what they call a camping cabin as it was getting late and we didn't want to setup the tent in the dark. We thought for close to $200 a night it would include linens, a bathroom, and maybe a small kitchenette. Instead we got no bathroom, no kitchenette, no linens, and the mattresses seemed like something you'd see in a prison cell. 2-inch thick foamies that are incredibly uncomfortable and leave you sore in the morning. Campsite was loud past quiet time also. Would not recommend going to any KOA locations. Nothing but bad experiences after being to multiple. They are consistently overpriced for what they offer. I only stop at KOA out of absolute desperation and even then sleeping in your car at a truck stop is preferable, probably more amenities too.

We have been going to this KOA every year for the last 4 years this last trip we had our bike stollen and so did a couple other families. Very disappointed. Staff knew they had a problem and didn’t warm anyone. I just want others to know to put your bikes in your trailer at night. One family even had their bikes locked up and they cut it. Just want to give others a heads up. It really sucked

We had a great 5 night stay with our crew of six plus two dogs. Space 224 had ample room for our 45 ft rig and bonus that it has a dog run and is close to the bathrooms/showers. The grounds are clean, nicely landscaped, and full of fun things for kids to do. This KOA is located close to two state beaches and has a nice layout for walking dogs, running, and riding bikes. The Wifi worked well the whole time.

We had the best time of my 11 years battling a terminal illness. I can’t remember the last time I smiled this much as everyone and every staff member was incredibly. We had an awesome camp site for our brand new trailer. This was our first trip in it and well worth the drive. The weather was GREAT the resort was amazing and well kept. Next time we are inviting family that will stay in a cabin or airstream trailer that they rent out. So many beautiful memories from just 3 wonderful days. Thanks for making this a memorable experience for my wife and myself. 🙏🏻❤️

This is a great campground to visit. Its always clean and very well maintained, and there are lots of activities. Whether you have kids or not its always a win. I will say the campground is a bit expensive but its worth it. At least for my family.

We got a rustic cabin and the cabin itself was as expected, but unlike the pictures they are literally lined up right next to each other. So don't try to enjoy your little porch unless you want to hang out with your neighbors just a few feet away. The whole area was loud and crowded, felt like we staying in a parking lot rather than a campground. Especially since you park right in front of your little cabin, so we had the glorious view of all the pick up trucks and SUV's all around us. And quiet hours were in no way enforced - we live in downtown San Francisco so we're not super sensitive to noise, but this was even louder than home. The deluxe cabin area was a little better, but you have to pay a huge premium for that. The bike rentals were fun and the staff was nice, which is why I didn't give it 1 star. We won't be staying here again.

Popular KOA & a kids paradise! Just book well in advance if you want RV full hookup. Hefty $$ for multiple purpose no sewer but bathhouse and restrooms are close for dump stations. Cute cabins, Very nice pool but may need to take your car it’s a pretty big place!

Huge campground with a variety of accommodations for everyone. Lots of activities a pool, a bounce pad, and large playground for the kids. Even has multiple dog runs and a dog bath for the 4 legged family members. Just be sure to plan accordingly as there is only one dump station.

This campground is definitely catered to children, which is fine, but be prepared for it to be very busy and very loud all day long. I don’t recommend coming here if you’re looking for a relaxing environment. They also don’t enforce the 10pm quiet rule, which they didn’t seem concerned about when we mentioned it. Our family has 2 fifth wheels and the sites we are in are not appropriate for the size of our 35’ trailers. We had to park our trucks in the small outdoor living space we had. They should be advertised for smaller trailers. The two good things they have going for them are cleanliness and location. I won’t be coming back here because it’s too busy for me.

I won’t ever camp here again. Kids cut through our site on their bikes, rode over our rug, even adults cut through. Plus it was really noisy, too expensive for a such a disappointing camping experience. We stayed in our camper rather than sit outside. They have a lot of cabins perhaps these people are unaware of campsite etiquette.

Paw pen site was perfect for my pup. Dog parks were nice too. Lost power cause of the wind but they were very accommodating and offered a refund if we wanted to go. Let me run my generator so I could stay since there was no power all day.

We left a hat at the campground in a very specific location, provided a photo of where it was located. The staff did not care to check after sending them the photo. We spent $500 at the campground and had a great time until this happened. It would have meant a lot if they checked, it was a meaningful hat.

We love this place for our 9 & 5 yr old. We even had our wedding celebration here! There are so many options from tent camping to glamping cabins… RV spots to Airstream rentals… basic cabins to deluxe cabins… stay how you want! If it’s just us we typically get a basic cabin and stay 1-2 nights. There is so much for the kids to do, so it makes it easy on us too. The pool is warm and the hot tub is almost hot! Our kids usually end up making friends and they just take off to the playground/ bouncy pillow and enjoy themselves. We feel super safe and basically give them 2 way radios and they are free to go and do whatever on the KOA site. It’s like an old school neighborhood where all the families look out for each-others kids. It’s only 30-40 minutes from San Jose… with evening or holiday traffic it may be over an hour… so not so long that the kids will go crazy! For our wedding we reserved all the cabins in what we call “the village”… basically a bunch of cabins along a short gravel road. So we setup lights along the road, put the picnic tables out there and had a block party with 100 friends and family! We wanted low key, casual, outdoor, kid and dog friendly… it was perfect!

We just returned from our first visit to this wonderful place! KOA be very proud of your facility and most knowledgeable, customer oriented group of employees! We were backed in with our travel trailer up against the preserve! It was quiet, peaceful and made us want to stay many more days! There is one thing that requires your utmost urgent attention however; those RAIL ROAD TRACKS!!! Eee gads! They are huge for a small single axle trailer even at snail speed! We’ll be back to visit again and hope the tracks are either removed or paved smooth! Thank you thank you for a great facility!

We stayed in a cabin with a tent site. Cabin was clean. The toilets shower and laundry are well maintained and clean. There are a lot of options for kids to play. There are multiple play areas and games. I would definitely recommend this place for a family with kids.

Stayed here a couple of weeks ago on a road trip with my partner and it was amazing! The staff, specifically Rhonda and James were beyond helpful with the late check in and very friendly. The amenities were nice and CLEAN! Grateful that the facilities were all night, I was able to take a hot shower when we got to the site. It was convenient to Sunset beach as well. Thank you Rhonda for being so helpful and kind. We appreciate it!!

Horrible KOA!! One person at the front desk to help a line of 15 people!! Our site is OK, but no e0 Amp power. No adult hours in the pool, kids screaming constantly. No way to back in, as cars going both ways on a narrow lane. Horrible!! We expected so much more for the exorbitant price!! Don't come here if you are a retired adult, I'll report to AARP so no other senior is tempted to bisit.

We have been going here for years. Our favorite somewhat local spot to us and one of the best KOAs we have visited on our travels. It isn’t cheap by any means but it’s heaven for kids. The playground is great, the bouncy pillow, bike rentals, ping pong table, games and activities are always fun. We love the pool and hot tub too. We always end up staying an extra night or two. I don’t think we will ever get tired of this spot!

One of the best RV parks we ever stayed. Big Parking slots, everything is clean. Really friendly stuff. Trash service every morning, on site Laundry and a good shop. A nice place to stay with kids. We enjoyed our stay very much.

In Watsonville, 1.2 mile walk to a gorgeous beach. (Lots of stairs) Helpful staff, clean campground, mature trees, lots of amenities, wonderful for kids. We'll be returning!

Had a FANTASTIC time. Very family friendly. Stayed in a cabin. It was small. There was a bunk Bed and a queen. There was a chair swing on the front porch. A BBQ pit and and picnic table. Campground is very clean. Bathroom and showers are clean. Tons of activities. I definitely recommend going a weekend in October. They celebrate Halloween. I have not one complaint. Best experience!!!

Koa is always so much fun, and as a local, I love the convenience of being able to drop in for a night and not need to over pack. We really enjoyed the welcome wine and cheese on the pool deck and a delicious breakfast from the snack shack.

We have stayed at a lot of KOAs and this is the best one. It’s beautiful. It’s clean. Everything works ( jumping pillow, train rides, park, pool ). The staff is kind and fun. Our spot was plenty big for our 39ft rv. It’s surrounded by trees and like a mile to the beach. No complaints!

My son and I stayed for a few nights in mid May 2023. Our RV had the most heavenly site, overlooking the swimming pool and witnessing the most stunning sunsets. The whole team were delightful and we would highly recommend this site to anyone! Can't wait to go back.

We recently visited this KOA and were astonished with the filthy condition of the deluxe cabin. There were hairs in the bathtub, stains all over the toilet, thick layers of dust everywhere, and the proverbial straw that broke the camels - blood stain on the master bed! We were intending to stay 2 nights, but we rushed out after the first morning. The conditions we experienced should not be tolerated at ANY price point, especially at over $450/night.

Nice KOA. Easy in and easy out. The pull through sites are narrow but long. The site we got came with a nice patio with table and chairs, weber grill, and fire pit. They also have a nice check out policy where if no one has reserved your site on the day of checkout, you can leave at 3pm for only $30. Otherwise checkout is 11 for RVs. This was great for us as we only had a 1.5 hr drive to our next destination. For those that don't have an RV, or families that have RVs but would like other family members or friends to come in and stay, they offer a variety of cabins and tiny homes near the RV sites so everyone can still hang out. The camp store was nice, has everything you may need. A bit pricey, but what camp store isn't. They have 2 dog park areas, medium sized. Some of the sites have a decent sized dog pen too for your private use. Overall, nice park. We would stay here again.

Great KOA Campground. Probably the newest and cleanest Campground we stayed at during our 2 weeks of camping. The staff was really friendly, the site was clean and spacious. Restrooms and showers were great, super clean and really modern.

Labor Day weekend, place was full! Friendly people, lots to do! Nice clean area to pitch a tent, rv or cabin. This is the only KOA that we have been to that picks up you trash bags on the morning! Just leave them at the front of your site in the morning. About a 40 minute drive to Monterey if you like to explore.

Rented the rustic cabin. It was very nice. It had a full bed and a bunkbed. A nice change from sleeping on the ground in a tent. Dog friendly. Lots of families camping in RVs and tents along with the cabin. Bathroom facilities close by with showers. Swimming pool and dog park with dog washing facilities. Worth a next visit.

Great place for kids. Management has really gone down hill. Zero maintenance. Dog park gates are falling apart. Most items could be fixed for under $10. Shows a complete lack of care. Playground swing was broke. I fixed it with a add a link. My reward was having our bikes stolen. I was told by the staff that their cameras that the thief's went in front of don't work.
