I wanted to love this place, it is a beautiful location filled with natural surroundings but unfortunately my experience there was exceptionally disappointing. I was there to celebrate a relatives birthday, what should have been a delightful cocktail hour, dinner and drinks. The staff made me want to have never booked this place. They were rude and treated us in a disdainful and condescending way. I never would have expected this by the supposed caliber of this restaurant. I do not recommend spending your time or money at this establishment. There are many other beautiful places to go in this gorgeous city.

Classy place with beautiful views and a very relaxed quiet pampered atmosphere. There are birds of all kinds in the gardens. Peacocks parrots ect. And the food is 5 star. Prices aren't bad. You can have drinks or make it a five course meal.

Beautiful place to eat at any time of the day, a place where you can enjoy delicious food next to the nature, with very attentive and friendly staff. It is a quick and valuable detour when one goes to Cuernavaca. It is definitely worth the wait, even though it is 100% preferable to make a reservation in advance from their web pages.

We ate at the restaurant, so this review is for the restaurant only. The grounds are absolutely gorgeous, and worth the visit. It is truly a hidden gem in the middle of a busy city, but the sounds and hustle all drain away when you are in here. The food and service are incredible. Ordered the steak tacos, and while they look boring, they are simply perfect. The chilaquiles my wife had were fantastic and the barbacoa tacos were consumed mightily.

Looks nice but the staff is very pretentious and clothing rules seem outdated. They asked us to leave just because we were using shorts…restaurants nearby were happy to have us though! So if you want to eat at an authentic restaurant I’d recommend you to avoid this one.

I had breakfast. The ambiance was tranquil and gorgeous due to the birds and animals on premises. Service was phenomenal they know hospitality. The food to my liking which I'm Mexican was not impressed at all. They brag about their world renoun chefs but yet omelet was bland, 🥞 were too small, and when they get to you are hard. The huevos in cazuela were pretty disgusting 😳 the green sauce over powered everything and was too acidic and that's all I could taste. Maybe this is why they only had 3 tables. Please try the food before you send it to the client. The capuchinos were too weak, no nice presentation. The only good thing was the bread. I spend for breakfast 75 bucks and I will never be coming back (perhaps to snap a quick pic with the birds)

We have been there on 2 occasions, during our honeymoon in March of 1965, and on our 25th anniversary 1990. Was told it was still open and had to write, as we have beautiful memories of great food and a unique and beautiful place. Now we have been married for 57and a half years and still celebrating life

Great food in a nice atmosphere ! Took my brother there for his birthday. They brought out a little cheesecake and sang a birthday song. Price wise it was around 1500 pesos including the tip, 4 margaritas and our entrees.

Not much to say. Just walk in and let yourself be treated to a most memorable experience. Ate here in 1982, came back last week and it had only gotten better, something I didn't think was possible. Memories old and new. Thank you, Las Mananitas!

Excellent attention, beautiful place, but the food was horrible!!!! Salty and acid, my expectations were high but they just fail. We claim about one of three meals but the three were horrific. Simple dish, chilaquiles, but executed badly. You eat these in a fonda and you will get better taste.

Magnificent hotel grounds. Great cafes and restaurants. Spa is a must. Rooms are great. Many stairs. Neighborhood is not the best. Busy, dirty. Best get Uber.

Las Mañanitas is a wonderful lovely place to visit or stay. The restaurant food is a 4/5. Otherwise the gardens and in-house peacocks are a delight.

A traditional and family friendly, truly Mexican experience. Good food, great service. Beautiful gardens with birds and turtles etc. Nice rooms, although the bathrooms/showers in need of a bit of an update. Definitely a great place for a weekend escape from CDMX

The garden is amazing, the restaurant and the spa are great but my room was located in the middle of the restaurant so noisy most of the time. The room had a terrace with very high trees so that people eating couldn’t see it but I couldn’t see anything either. The bedroom was okay but with a constant smell of sewage coming from the bathroom and the entrance of the room which was also in front of the kitchen. Thus, this room is not even worth half of the price they asked for. Also please note that wether you are one or two guests, you pay for two guests for both breakfast and the spa experience (included in the room’s price). They should also maintain their bathrooms better so that there wouldn’t be leaks and traces of poor painting. The level of service is great though even if a lot of people don’t speak English.

Found this hotel through Relais and Chateaux network, known for fine cuisine and luxe accommodations - it did not disappoint with old school Mexican hacienda charm (other reviewers mentioning updates miss this concept). The hotel rooms are large with classic furniture, wood burning fireplaces, ample terraces and beautiful bathrooms. The grounds are incredible - white and azure peacocks, flamingos and tortoises roaming green rolling hills. The pool is nicely heated, stunning and not crowded. The spa is decadent, relaxing, excellent therapists and peaceful. The restaurant is very good, but not excellent. The waiters are kind, but need to be more attentive (training?). The food is well prepared, but menu needs updating to reflect current eating trends (sides, seasoning , diet preferences). In addition, service at the pool needs to be more frequent. Drinks are delicious. If you are looking to truly escape CDMX or travel to a luxe destination and utterly relax this is your place.

If you are already staying in Cuernavaca, happy hour is a lovely way to come see the hotel, sit on the terrace, and explore the gardens. There is quite a collection of exotic birds including peacocks (even an albino one!) There is also a day spa- ask for a tour- it might be something to save to do for a return visit.

We came for the restaurant. Very nice food and a beautiful place with live mexican music. They also have some parrots and peacocks around, which are very cute to see.

If you're staying here or just eating , you have to know that you pay FOR THE EXPERIENCE( yeah...it is expensive). Food is ok, I would give it a 3.5 but definitely the uniqueness of this place makes every penny worth it.

Beautiful setting but the food, while good, does not live up to the prices. Having said that, we had an enjoyable comida.

Fantastic hotel and restaurant. The ambiance is very special in a garden with incredible plants and animals everywhere. The Orlan Spa is also wonderful offering loads of great treatments. If you're staying at the hotel the breakfast is wonderful but the portions are very big.

Five stars is not enough. This is an oasis of loveliness. You get a 1st hint that this place is special when your car is parked for you. Entering the outdoor restaurant and garden is another level of wonder. Everything is calm and clean. The garden has peacocks, parots and even a giant tortoise. Lawns are manicured and the swimming pool is quite beautiful; encircled by tropical plants and two huge palm trees. The food was delicious, the service charming and I didn't want to leave. Fabulous.

We are going always to this restaurant when we are in Cuernavaca. The garden is nice and the food is always very good. But today we had a very bad experience. First of all the waiters were not very fast it took around 10 min before they brought some water. But the worst thing was the quality of the food. Has the cook been changed? We never had this experience before. Hamburger was very dry, Steak overcooked, patato was raw, rice with milk was not tasty anymore, the crème bulee didn’t have the quality before. And the dishes came not on the same time. Everybody had there main dish but I needed to wait. And my main dish was not good. The chicken with jamica had a very strange taste. I hope that the quality the next time is on the same level as before.

Las Mañanitas was an enchanting end to a fascinating day in Cuernavaca. If ever there was a story to support the saying of not judging a book by its cover, here you have it. The hectic streets as you move away from the city centre give no indication of this serene garden and delightful atmosphere tucked away down an unassuming side street on the edge of central Cuernavaca! The food is a mix of Western classic dishes and local specialities to cater to the upmarket crowd - I would strongly recommend you stick with the local specialities if your palette is inclined. They are varied, rich and incredibly delicious! The staff are beyond delightful, friendly and very kid friendly, including well versed in English so you have plenty of opportunity to sharpen your Spanish with a forgiving crowd. Take a stroll through the garden while you wait for your meal to be delivered and enjoy a mojito or margarita with the peacocks strolling around you... it is like a step back in time and difficult to truly put words to the full extent of the experience...

Excellent food, good ambiance though hostess are really bad. As we arrived we asked for a 4 person table... After a while and several other clients were seated we inquired about our table, the hostess did not added our party in their list. After our reaction to their mistake, a while later we were seated. What fixed our mood was the excellent crooked dishes we got. They were amaizing!!!!
