It’s a decent, if unspectacular, course in good condition (on particular the fairways). It is very, very pricey, though: USD150 for 18 holes, range balls, cart and an old, dingy rental set (lose grip on the PW, worn-down grip on the putter, clubs at least 15 years old) - and that’s if you order with a special deal through their website; otherwise it’s twice that. I enjoyed my time, but too many of the holes felt a bit too generic and pedestrian, especially at that price point. I wouldn’t mind playing again, but IMHO, the true price for the course would be around USD80.

Great golf course! I don't play, my boyfriend does. I am the designated golf buggy driver. They didn't charge for me to go around with him - which some courses do! We've been here twice- I enjoyed the beauty of the course- it is well kept. I like that occasionally you would spot some wildlife like Iguanas. There are also Coatis too. It is an expensive course to play but if you love your golf- id recommend you try once. Staff are polite and friendly. They did get our order wrong on the way around but did correct it. It doesn't look as difficult as the Riviera Maya PGA course as that seems to have loads of water in places you need to get the ball over. What do I know anyway ...I'm not playing!!! For my fellow golf buggy drivers, there are toilets located at around every 4 holes or so. You can get alcoholic beverages and snacks on the cart that comes by- think they take cash only but you can pay by card on your return to the clubhouse. They love advertising on the screen in the golf buggy which is kind of annoying.

Horrible experience. They round is $170. The clubs to rent are $65 for horrible cavity back clubs. The balls you buy are more than 3 times there normal price. You have to pay for water if you would like any. Also greens are being aerated with no warning or discount. So bad most puts don’t roll very far or straight. 1 out of 10. It would never recommend. I would recommend hard rock or grand Coral. Both much better.

Great course and facilities. It was like I had the whole course to myself on a Friday afternoon. Greens are some of the nicest I have played on in Mexico.

This is a review in behalf of the beach club and the condominium within the entire golfing resort. The restaurant in front of the beach was mind-blowing. I finally tasted the best deep fried coconut prawns I've eaten in my whole life. I told my husband, we will go back to this golf and beach club just for that jumbo prawns. Service was EXCEPTIONAL. Everywhere we go they offer to carry our bags, and always smiling staff. We gave them incredible tip each time, these people are hardworking and I respect their hospitality The entire golf club is extra secure. There's a main security check to enter the whole golf club, and another security check point before entering the condominiums where they offer us a golf cart ride for free from one place to another and wait for us to finish shopping so that they can send us back to our condo. We stayed in a 2 bed 2 bath condo with a private pool, the pool is somehow connected to the resorts enormous pool, it was creative and fun. I would recommend this secured luxury beach and golf club to any visiting Playa del Carmen.

Nice course, a little overpriced as all golf in the area is but it’s in good condition and fun to play. The hidden gem is their driving range. If you just want to hit some balls it’s only $10 for 2 buckets and they provide practice clubs for free. They have umbrellas and chairs and a ping pong table and football to throw around. Great price and a nice place to hangout, have some food and drinks as it’s right next to their snack bar and hit to some balls.

Great course and in great shape! Staff are professional and helpful. Could use a bit more shade at the tee boxes to keep cool as it gets hot out

Paid just under $300 for 18. Had to go get my own balls (which is fine) to use at range and then got reprimanded by the guy that we checked in with that I could not hit a full bucket cuz they were too busy. He did this in front of others who were on range so little ittitating. Course was good but overall not a very inviting experience.

Beautiful course in great condition. Very friendly staff. Special shout out to Juan de Díos who went out of his way for us.

This is a great course, very lush and in phenomenal shape….. this course is all inclusive but if you plan on getting food at the turn you’ll be waiting awhile. We ordered food and drinks at the turn but it seemed like nobody knew what to do and it took us 15min to get food/drinks…

Wow! Beautiful course, beautiful greens, friendly staff, and relaxed pace of play. I was paired with a member, Dr. Luis from DF, who has lived here over 25 years. Thanks for the beers and breakfast burrito. I didn't know that you paid for that until after our round was over and you were gone. Que amable, doctor, mil gracias!!!

Way too expensive. Bad food, no driving range!! Everywhere along the holes were construction workers. Uneasy, impersonal atmosphere and the holes were nothing special. All in all a disappointment. Especially since we played the days before I’m Puerto Cancun Golf and im Hard Rock Golf im Playa del Carmen. I do not recommend this course!

The golf course is kept in very good condition, the staff is fantastic, everyone is always nice and smiling but what is unique it is that during the game you can see the local badgers (coatis), spider monkeys, little capybaras and even crocodiles (those around holes 16-18)

This was our first time visiting Gran Coyote Golf. Our concierge at the hotel was supposed to make our tee time for a different club but this mixup turned out to be the best thing. Even though we did not have a tee time they were very accommodating and fit us in. The staff was amazing and I’m happy we went there. The course was beautifully kept and are expanding to add more holes. We will definitely be back when staying in Playa del Carmen.

Love this course! Extremely well kept. Great staff as well. A secret of the Riviera Maya.
