Basic transportation to the island. Nothing fancy. Pro tips: in the morning , seat in the right in the back. Yes, the sun is there but that will change once you get going. Another tip: get ready to disembark quickly to the right. You are likely to meet a uniformed police officer that will check bags. If you let most people disembark ahead of you be prepared for a long wait. Disembark early and be in the water by the time the last few people clear the office at the bridge.

Easy & reliable booking with Viator app. $6 Uber ride from Le Méridien to Isla Flamenco ferry dock. We were greeted & checked in. Do NOT forget your passport. The cruise was great, good food, good drinks, festive music. Very clean &comfortable boat in perfect condition. Taboga Island was very nice to explore, eat, & souvenir shops. Cold beer at the beaches. Great trip! I recommend!

Reliable service! The ferry departed and arrived on time! Nice team with great skills. One tip: book in advance if you're planning to go, specially on weekends.

They tell you you have to be an hour early or you'll lose your tickets. Well we arrived on time and waited for almost an hour and a half! And they didn't even let you check in for the first half hour!! Take my advice, don't book anything with these losers unless you take vacation time just to waste it sitting by a pier. This is the kind of service that any tour operator should be ashamed of. I can understand being late, it happens, but don't tell me to be an hour early when I don't need to be and then be late on top of it!!!!

Very easy to check in. Better online booking. When I bought a ticket without reservation, some boats were already sold out. You may get wet if you have outside seats! but fun!

Great experience! Staff is friendly and departures have been on time, every time. Purchasing tickets is done very easily because they have the option to do it through their website. The counterpart to this company (Calypso) is currently $5.00 cheaper on their tickets but you have to go get them at their offices which is a drawback. Sometimes if there's a holiday or a crowded day you may risk going all the way there just to find out they are completely sold for the day (even with Taboga Express Fast Ferry, too)! For a smoother Taboga experience, I would recommend traveling with Taboga Express FF and buying tickets online, ahead of time. Enjoy!

I enjoyed my experience on the Taboga Express Fast Ferry. I only speak English and the checkin staff was extremely friendly and patient while we worked to get my questions answered. The ferry fare was not expensive (24$ round trip per person). Check-in was an easy process. The ferry itself was clean and the ferry captain and the crew were friendly. The ferry ride was smooth until we got closer to Taboga Island. Since it was raining ahead, the captain sat idle for a couple of minutes so the passengers could move their items from the back of the boat inside to the covered area as the crew was zipping up the boat coverings. As we hit some turbulence (Panamá City to Taboga & Taboga to Panamá City), the captain handled it well. i would recommend and use the ferry service when I return to Panamá.

Seemed like a fast safe ferry service. Speed and direction appeared to be adjusted based on water conditions. Not sure why they ask that you be there an hour early though. Maybe just to avoid a last minute backup as tour groups come in....

The ride to Taboga island was a quick & enjoyable experience. They made it easy for us to have a great day on the island! It was our second trip to the island, & we hope to make other trips when we visit Panama! Thanks for helping us have a wonderful time on the Taboga island!!😘

In a country where most rural areas lack access to water and blood pressure medicine is difficult to come by. This firm decides to break Article 27 of the Constitution, which restricts citizens' freedom of movement. For a vaccine, as though they collect taxes and are a part of the government. The owner of this company should only expect that if he acts as a public servant, the public will have high expectations, as required by law. The public should be on the lookout for any irregulation on this boat, as it is now behaving as a state-owned enterprise rather than a private one. All minor irregularities should be reported.

If you want to know the island I think that the company has a elaborated plan that make the things easy. Everything is planned since departure to return to Panama City, even though meats, tours and beach time. Now from my opinion I believe that the tour needs other attractions that allow the tourist really understand the island value.

Super fun day trip to sandy beaches. Lots of food shops that were very affordable. We bought a few cheap souvenirs here since we were going home the next day. Gets kind of crowded in afternoon and at high tide. Not much beach left at high tide. Go at low tide if possible.

It's a very fast ferry to Taboga Island. The crew helped us put on our carry-on luggage and it was a nice smooth ride to the island. There's really nothing more to say about this service other than it works and it's faster than the others.

The vessel is very accommodating covering the distance in a short time made it a satisfying travel experience.. however not so much for the checking staff whose poor customer service almost turn my vacation into a negative experience, both ladies were unhelpful, and displayed a lazy and unfriendly attitude.. I hope management take notice and retrain them on customer service.

Can’t say enough positive things about Taboga Fast Ferry and the Day Tour. From the very clean facilities, the comfort of the ferry, the lunch and of course the beach….everything was excellent and top notch. Highly recommend this economical way of visiting Taboga!

  • 3/5 Jeremy Taylor B. 1 year ago on Google
It’s a convenient ferry and easy to book online. It’s only a 30 minute ride and it’s fascinating passing by all the massive cargo ships on the way to Taboga. Biggest complaint is that they aren’t always on time. Considering it’s only a 30 minute ride, the fact that the ferry was delayed 30+ minutes on our departure was annoying. They almost have a monopoly on the ferry business to Taboga (Calypso is another ferry service). Also, online they tell you to be there an hour early, but then the boat is 30 minutes late, meaning I waited around unnecessarily for 90 minutes…

It is easy to order tickets in advance online. Checking in is super easy and there are shops and vendors around the waiting area. The ferry itself is comfortable and fast.

Punctual and quick service from Panama to Taboga, only half an hour. The views are nice as you can see the skyline of Panama City, many ships coming to the canal and many islands nearby

  • 5/5 Juliana H. 1 year ago on Google
The crew was very friendly and helpful. Be sure to be there in time or book your tickets in advance online, since there is a possibility that the ferry is full if you are arriving shortly before departure. We arrive about 20 minute before that and we're still able to get tickets there. Would definitely recommend the trip!

Ferry depart a bit off schedule. Why wait for those who are late? Responsible people who come beforehand as instructed should not be sitting and waiting for those who don't care and understand time, let them spend the night on the island!

  • 2/5 Disinque 1 year ago on Google
Took the ferry leaving Friday at 3pm. Waited in line for 40 min just because they had to load a shipment. Easy fix, just change the depart time to account for the loading time. 3:30-4pm.

  • 4/5 Will W. 1 year ago on Google
Nice service, crew are cool. Not need to arrive an hour early as instructed. Check in process is maybe one minute. Also didn't request to see my passport. Departure on both ends were late due to ferry arriving late.

The best option to go to Taboga island from Panama City. You can book online or onsite. The ship is in very good condition and takes around 30 minutes to the island. I recommend it if you plan to go with your family. Finally, you can take the C850 bus from Albrook metro station to go to Flamenco island where the terminal is located.

I booked a day tour through Taboga Express. There were several tour options available, as some include lunch and beverages. I opted for the the package that included a beverage on the boat ride and lunch on the island. The boat left from Causeway, Fort Amador to Taboga Island. Side note: There are two places you can get a photo in front of the Panama Sign. Amador Causeway is one of those places. Please keep in mind, there are typically two departure times. If you miss boat, you'll probably have to spend the night. The package also included a walking tour of the island, which detailed history of the French and the Panama Canal. The lunch was good. It's not a fancy place, just a local spot with good food. The beers on the island were $1 and they provided you with beach chairs. Make sure you bring beach towels and change for the bathroom. It really feels like your own private beach/ocean, as they were not a lot of people. Definitely worth it!

The tickets were $20 round trip. The taxi was late both on the way there and back. We booked 5:00 ferry and boat didn’t even show up until 5:30. This made us late for our dinner plans. I can understand a little late but I felt this was unreasonable.

Nice ferry to visit Taboga Island. The price is fair. Although there are cheaper options out there, they offer multiple options for departures and returns, you can even return the next day if you rather to stay in the island. There is washroom in the ferry and food.
