This past week was absolutely wonderful!!! From start to finish every single one of the brilliant staff was friendly and attentive. The resort is spectacular: wonderful decorations, lovely pools, superb food and drinks. I cannot say anything slightly bad about our experience here! This was our first time at an Ikos hotel and i can’t wait to try other ones out in Greece. I HIGHLY recommend trying any of the hotels for an absolute carefree and perfect holiday. Well done to everyone working at the hotel, you all deserve congrats for your splendid service.

Absolutely wonderful place, the staff were so friendly and really couldn't do enough for you. The restaurants and food were exceptional. We also had a young baby and all the staff were really attentive and nothing was too much trouble, also had bottle steamers, buggies and baby baths at hand. Can't praise the staff enough.

It was our first time travelling with a baby and I was expecting to enjoy it, at the same time as finding it a little stressful. However, I'd say that's one of the most relaxing holidays I have ever had in my life!! Ikos has not only thought of everything to make travelling with a little one easy, the service was truly exceptional. The resort is spotless and designed brilliantly to never feel overcrowded. It's definitely the service that makes it so wonderful though - the staff are consistently friendly, helpful, attentive and would go above and beyond to help you with anything you need. A really special holiday that we'll never forget.

Amazing resort with flawless service. Everything is perfectly maintained, clean and modern. There are 7 outdoor heated pools, as many a la carte restaurants with different themes all with wonderful food selection and several different bars serving amazing cocktails. And last but definitely not least is the fantastic staff, always friendly, helpful, smiling and welcoming (did I mention friendly!).

Fantastic place for children. Not ideal for couples. Not enough adult spaces. The adults pool was an afterthought and not nearly as nice as the other pools. Unfortunately children and buggies everywhere. Food was mostly delicious as was the drinks.

We had the most amazing time at Ikos Andalusia and all the staff provided first class service. In particular, Pilar provided a nice, warm greeting at check-in, also did regular check ins during our stay to make sure everything was fine and gave us a kind farewell on our departure. Pilar made our stay all the more exceptional. Overall, we give Ikos Andalusia a 5 ⭐️rating based on our experience.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Ikos Andalusia. It is not the kind of place we would usually stay at, but now having a 1 year old we decided to give it a go given its family friendly, all-inclusive credentials. The hotel itself is lovely for a large resort - nice pools, comfortable rooms and the food in the restaurants was very good. However, it was the staff who really made the stay special. They were all very friendly and helpful and communicative. Special thanks go to Elena in the spa and Carla in Flavors who both also acted as babysitters on a few nights - they were very lovely! We would happily stay again.

Ikos Andalusia is well worth a visit, it is so completely all inclusive with tasty al a carte food and plenty of activities and beautiful selection of pools. It is worth booking your first few restaurant dinners in advance by email, which I saw on other reviews as a tip although all restaurants are amazing. The brand new Chiringuito lunch spot on the beach was amazing with lovely Spanish food. The tuna and sweet potato was delicious. There were so many people who made our stay so special. Everyone in this list made us feel like we were old friends and would have fun with us which really improved our stay. We appreciate them humouring us with Rainbow Palm Pals and our constant merriment; • Maria at reception for the best hotel check in experience, so calm and chilled with lovely scents and cava. • Maria the allergy manager - my friend has coeliac disease and Maria ensured she was well catered to at all the restaurants for all meals. She worked so hard to make sure she felt safe. Oh and she was fun. • Smiling Michalis at the pool bar (who made sure we had a drink at the adults only pool) and was great fun and taught us a Greek dance. • Darko at Chiringuito (and flavours breakfast) who provided fabulous services and wine selection and was great fun… there is a theme here! More fab service and great fun from; • Andrea, Fee Fee and Maria at Chiringuito • Jonathan and Anna Maria at Anaya • Natalia at Beach Club • Daniel at Olivia • Elizabeth at Seasons • Harry for our first day breakfast at Ouzo you were great. Miss you all already Amy

Really let down by poor service Booked hotel one year in advance, restaurants all fully booked, despite being told this would be sorted and then offered late tables with 3 young children. Told on arrival reservations would be sorted, we had to chase and clearly they were not Kids club again all fully booked, had to complain twice to get any space for our children despite being told it would be available Football camp for our eldest was fully booked for the whole duration Arrived early on our arrival day to be told they would get our room ready early only to wait over 4 hours for us to get our room which was later than the normal check in time Just a lot of staff saying what you want to hear and not actually following up and doing what they have said Ended up leaving early Complained at reception who were not particularly bothered The final hotel transfer to the airport then arrived 50 minutes late to top it all off Room was excellent, location was fine but hotels like this Maybe make it crystal clear to guests that everything must be booked well in advance before they arrive Much better hotels elsewhere for the money spent. Don't believe the hype, we won't be back

Amazing place with super friendly staff that makes your stay like heaven on earth. EVERYONE who we’ve had the pleasure of coming across have been wonderful. Perfect in every single way. The food, the views, the pools and the fantastic hospitality. All this made our time at Ikos Andalusia so special and memorable, it’s a holiday we will truly never forget.

This place is a paradise! Gorgeous design and layout. Beautifully appointed rooms. Nice, new design. All restaurants are high end and delicious! Staff is incredibly friendly and helpful. Ice cream cart and stand are a nice touch. Very family friendly. Plenty of fun activities to do. I hope to return some day! As well as visit the other Ikos properties!

Absolutely the best, the hotel, food (coeliac) and facilities were top notch. Will definitely come back. A special shout out to Vicky the food and beverage manager for constantly checking in and making sure everything was gluten free without risk of cross contamination. We will definitely come visit another Ikos hotel soon!

This is just a “taste” of the magical experience that we had in Ikos Andalusia. This place is just a leaving dream! The very kind and welcome staff was really helpful during our stay. The cherry on top was the amazing theatre performances that we really enjoyed. Amazing singers and dancers that made us follow their rhythm🎵 We would really like to thank each and everyone that made our holidays a story to tell and definitely recommend to everyone.

Ok so, finally my family have experienced an Ikos Holiday. Would we come again? Possibly but not in a hurry, here’s my take: The concept is excellent, you can enjoy freely without worrying about a surprise to your bill at the end. So much is included (mini-bar, room service etc) some things are additional such as Spa treatments but that is to be expected. There are many restaurants and if you want, you can completely avoid the buffet restaurant and only eat at the A La Carte ones, even for breakfast. HOWEVER, whilst the website states that the menus are DESIGNED by Michelin starred Chefs, they’re certainly not executed by them. The food, whilst beautifully presented was so underwhelming in all the restaurants, the chefs are not highly trained which massively lets it down. We found a lot of food to be under seasoned and lacking in flavour. The whole dining experience speaks to the Instagram generation, all looks no substance. The Asian restaurant was the most disappointing, I don’t think the Chefs were from any of the Asian countries. They should have a Japanese restaurant to include a small selection of Thai dishes and have a completely separate Indian restaurant. Ideally, with Chefs from the respective countries or at least trained in those specific cuisines. There are so many pools but they’re all the exact same (style, depth etc) which leads me to the next point, they could use a proper children’s pool with water slides even a mini water park- they have the space!!! The children’s splash pool was so disappointing and the ‘slide’ was pathetic to say the least. One thing I can’t fault is the service, it was well staffed, you’re never waiting too long for anything and all staff were pleasant and can’t do enough for you. The rooms, from an aesthetic perspective are definitely not 5star, I would say 4 star. They were pretty basic. Very underwhelming. I would say it is over priced, there is a lot of fine tuning to be done to get it over the line. Maybe I am just a bit harder to please as there are many rave reviews.

Our 2nd Ikos Resort holiday, this time in Andalusia (nr Marbella). Everything's just wonderful. From housekeeping, poolside staff, restaurants, rooms & room service - all excellent- we'll continue with our Ikos Group Resorts in 2023.

Recently returned from a 5 night break at Ikos. I would recommend this hotel to anyone who likes the higher level of service this facility offers. The staff were outstanding and true professionals. The hotel smells like a Spa, which gives a very relaxing atmosphere. The hotel is not a party hotel, and is very tranquil, which suited us. Lots of superb restaurants to choose from. Selection of pools to suit all types of guests. The room was immaculate and decorated to a high level. Ours was a junior suit, which had a comfortable sofa on the balcony. The bathroom had large shower as well as a free standing bath and twin sinks. Plenty of wardrobe space too.

Best all inclusive resort we have ever been to. Nothing too much trouble, as a party of 18 we were able to prebook restaurants before arrival and were given amazing service from all the staff. You can set up a WhatsApp group with the hotel and can do anything from there with a quick message. Any drinks we could think of were available from the main bar, and picking whatever wine we fancied for lunch was a novelty for us,, normally have to stick with "house red" . Used the free coach into estapona one day and Puerto banus another which were again booked from the app. Overall amazing stay and would not hesitate to recommend a break here, definitely 5 stars from us ✨️ 😀

Starting with the positive...lovely room and all the gardens and facilities were clean and kept in great condition. Our pool attendants were great and we were really lucky to get a room in the block by the bar, restaurants and toilets (only toilets at one side of the resort). We loved the food and the cocktails. Lots of fish which suited us. Plenty towels for the sun loungers and they were lovely and thick and in very good condition. Strong wifi everywhere. What baffled us was the restaurant situation and bookings system. All the restaurants were fully booked when we arrived, very little flexibility and it involved an awful lot of hassle trying to get a booking which ended up being really early or very late but what was so confusing is the restaurants were ever only at most 60% full no matter what time of the day. One night we sat in the "fully booked" restaurant on our own (although the terrace was busy). On our last night we got our room number wrong so our reservation wasn't on the list and there was absolutely no way we were getting a table -9pm, half empty restaurant and only 4 more couples came after us. Bizzare. We couldn't figure out what was going on. At check out we mentioned it and we were told that people cancel.... really in an all inclusive restaurant you get no shows???Especially when we know they won't be accepted in any other restaurant without a booking. That meant they were all eating room service. Sorry but we don't believe that. If there are so many cancellations every night they should be able to deal with it, expect it and have some sort of flexibility. The WhatsApp drove us mad. Always a mix up, never answered the questions, nearly always texting to say no. For example on the day we checked out we were told we could use a courtesy room for a shower before we left and we were asked what time we'd like. Sounds good so we gave a time that was 45 mins before we were due to leave and we were told no it can only be 2pm or 3pm. Why ask us for a time if we were going to be told no. We went back with 3pm and we were told no it was gone but we'd only just been given confirmation from reception that they'd the room booked for us for 3pm. Went back to the WhatsApp team with this information and they followed with a confirmation text with the 3pm booking. Always a mix up. So unprofessional and not 5 star. The beach photos on the website are completely photo shopped. It's not a sandy beach and is more like a gravel pit for a building site.

A really majestic hotel. There are many different areas as the hotel is a huge area right next to the beach. You will find restaurants bars pools and playgrounds both for kids and adults-only. Therefore, I would suggest it for families but also for people that want to relax in silence. Most importantly I would like to point out that the hospitality was friendly and diligent

Highly recommended hotel! Not only for its great concept of all-inclusive, and when I say all-inclusive I mean, everything! Food, drinks, hotel transportation etc… the list is long. This place is amazing! Located in the beautiful Andalusia region, makes it perfect! Just 15 minutes drive to Marbella old town! The service you get from the staff is one of the best I’ve ever experienced. Always greeted with a genuine smile and ready to accommodate you with your very special requests! ‘I know it’s not on the menu but, could we have some extra avocado with olive oil please?’ ‘Sure, sir!’ With its wide choices of restaurants, you feel spoiled and willing to try everything until you realised that your pants don’t fit anymore! 😂 However, if you are willing to stay fit, just join one of their daily fitness or pilâtes classes, it’s all-inclusive! If not, why don’t walk or jog along the path that traces the beautiful dark grey sandy beach? You can go very far and lose yourself in its landscape. Once back, refresh yourself in one of their 7 heated pools! Family or adult-only ones, or maybe the scented ones? Then chill on one of their daybeds, either by the beach, feet in the sand or toes tickled by the short grass! You won’t get bored! Once back in the room, you can also chill out on the balcony and let yourself swing by the hanging chair and order some delicious food in the room! If you suddenly realized that you ran out of something, pop into their mini market, where you can find almost everything you need! I could write a book about our experience, so, it's best to check it out yourself and enjoy it too! I can't wait to come back!

A very expensive nursery. Do not travel here as a couple. The place is overrun with children and parents. Restaurant's are filled with screaming toddlers, and the adults areas are an after thought. As far as value for money, it couldn't have been more underwhelming on value. The management seem permanently confused and incapable of dealing with complaints in a customer focused way. The Ikos brand seem confused as to who they want to appeal to and what the brand is. Are you a luxury retreat or butlins? My verdict, luxury prices, budget family results. For the record, I complained many times to management and gave direct feedback in a friendly way. We were offered a 10% discount on check out, but only after I insisted that the hotel was overpriced. Try stella island in crete instead.

Last year I went to Ikos Olivia, now Ikos Andalusia! What I have to say? Perfect places can be even more perfect! I really loved everything! Special thanks to Pilar Artacho, who made our trip amazing, such a lovely and attentive person! It makes all difference!

Fantastic staff and service! The food options are great and very tasty. There are a lots of activities for all the family. The pools were heated in October and that was very good. The only thing is about food and drinks wastage, there should introduce some sort of control to help improving the quality of some food ingredients.

The location, hospitality, service and everything this hotel has to offer is 5 star! Extremely baby friendly, fantastic food and luxury rooms. We had the best 5 days ever! Can’t wait to book again soon. Thank you Ikos! Best halal hotel in Marbella ❤️

Came here on a family holiday at the end of July. Best holiday I’ve been on yet, it was just unreal. So much to do, so many restaurants, so many events and just unreal views. Highlight had to be the Micheal Jackson tribute and the pool days. The main bar at this hotel is out of this world, and the service was unreal. Big shoutout to Petra, one of the waitresses at the main bar, she was great. Can’t wait to come back soon.

Fantastic luxurious family hotel with very high standards, great food, amazing kind service. A very beautiful hotel complex with different pools for kids but also adults only. Very nice range of different restaurants. Very good food selection for everyone. Beach just ok, as swimmings becomes hard due to the rocks. Still good enough to build sand castles with the kids. We had a great time as a family and will come again

This hotel is incredible!!. It is the best hotel we ever stayed at and the staff are at your service every minute. They were always friendly and went well and beyond to make our stay perfect. I stayed with my wife and 4 month old baby and the creche and babysitting staff looked after the little one so well. They had everything arranged for the baby including baby food, baths, cot selections etc. They also have an amazing selection of brilliant food. Ouza was the best restaurant. The food was even prepared with Halal meat specifically for us! They have a great Whatsapp service that reply almost instantly with restaurant bookings and any queries. The hotel is beach side and they also have an amazing scented pool and spa facilities.

Amazing holiday, amazing food but the service is just outstanding. They try very very hard here and surpasses Atlantis in Dubai. Only disappointment is the beach but with 8 pools you can live with that. 5 stars to all the resort!

Fantastic hotel, great service, amazing food and a great premium alcohol choice. I've always preferred Mexico's all inclusive to anywhere in Europe, but this hotel is by far the best European all inclusive I've ever been to and I will definitely be returning here next year rather than Mexico 😉

The best place in Spain for a family holiday! We had a fantastic time at the Ikos Hotel with the children in June 2021. Two weeks is not enough! Hotel clean, well organized, safe. Tailored to the individual needs of its guests. Many thanks to Gigi and sommelier Athanasia, who made our evenings more enjoyable with the recommended wines and drinks. Very well-organized space for children, safe swimming pools and playgrounds. Delicious food! also for the little ones. We recommend booking a table at the restaurants before your arrival, especially in Asian and French one. It's worth it! Words of appreciation to the entire team!

Quite simply the best hotel I’ve ever stayed at! From the unbelievable welcome Petrina gave us on our arrival, to the magnificent A* service Julios gave us as head of bars at IKOS. The service at this hotel is like nothing else you will ever experience…. Cannot wait to go back! Thanks again to the whole team and see you soon! :-)

Amazing hotel, never feels too crowded even at busy times. restaurants and bars look cool and are a highlight. Beach is just ok and there could be improvements to booking systems for restaurants but a really good relaxing break

Absolutely fantastic hotel! The attention to detail is what puts it above the rest in my opinion. The decor is luxurious yet tasteful and fitting to a seaside resort. All staff are friendly and genuinely appear to enjoy working for Ikos. In the past I have struggled being a vegetarian on vacation, however this was not the case here, the food is incredible with a wide range of choice across seven restaurants. Another great touch here is the fact the hotel manager is always around on site and is approachable which just shows they really care about their guests satisfaction. I genuinely can’t wait to come back plus visit the other hotels within their portfolio.

One of the best all inclusive Hotel we have ever been! From the first minute onwards it was a really good experience: Warm welcoming, nice staff, good food (a lot of food), good service at the pool. A la carte restaurants but also buffet is really nice. Rooms are very nice and clean. I can not understand why so many people are complaining the beach. Of course it is not that sandy but you can be there without shoes and the water is clear. Over all- amazing and relaxing holidays for us. Big thanks to Ikos team Andalusia for making our stay there the perfect holiday. We will definitly come back to one of the Ikos Hotels.

Fantastic Resort ! Level of service was impeccable.Food and Restaurants are amazing. Super variety of pool areas. Only slight downside was the beach having very large stones on entry to the water but I hear their planning on getting this sorted in the future.

  • 5/5 Mihaela J. 1 year ago on Google
Amazing hotel! The food/drinks and service were fantastic, especially Sia the sommelier who went above and beyond during the wine tasting experience and then also helped pair wines during our dinners. The cocktails choice and taste was fantastic. As per other reviews the beach sand is dark grey/rocky so you'll probably end up spending your time by the pool. We personally enjoyed the bike riding and aquafit, lots of activities in and out of the hotel. There were some minor teething issues which we discussed with the Manager who was very receptive and did take them on as improvement points. We look forward to the new Ikos hotels opening next year.

We visited here at the end of May and had a perfect week together - overall 10/10 and we will certainly return to Ikos. All of the staff were friendly, polite and attentive - a special shout out to Natalia at reception, Eva @ Fresco & Maria at the downstairs bar. The airport transfers arranged were seamless in nice taxis. The food & drink throughout the week was great. Facilities were fantastic, especially the spa. We loved the morning Yoga classes the guy that ran it (we have forgotten his name) was really friendly. The free Tesla hire for the day was really fun. The museum tickets + busses out to the local towns were great and made it more than 'just' a resort holiday, even though that's what we signed up for. Minor potential improvements: - I think the indoor gym could be a little bit bigger as it was busy at peak time (just before breakfast). - The nachos with the fake cheese etc that were given out at the beach was a surprise given all of the food was such high quality and fresh - avoid those! - Finally, the dine out restaurants were not as good as the on site restaurants but it was nice to have a change of scenery. One thing we felt that we missed out on given the location was the opportunity to have the local speciality of grilled sardines on the beach in a Chiringuito. Hopefully they will introduce that soon.

Myself and my partner returned from this resort last Friday and I can confirm this is probably the best all-inclusive hotels I've ever been to. The food was amazing and the staff in the whole resort be it in the restaurant's or by the poolwere soo friendly and helpful, you never had to do a thing it was done for you. Superb holiday and will 100% return 👌. Wayne Emery and Maria Ramos

We’re a recurring Ikos guest - which says a lot. 2018 @ Oceania, 2019 @ Aria, 2020/21 Covid stopped us, 2022 @ Aria and now 2023 @ Andalusia. And we were not once disappointed. If you look for a real luxury AI experience in Europe, for families, without being a (loud and overcrowded) family hotel, the this group is your choice. Full stop. We likes that at Andalusia everything is closer together than in the other resorts, making the ways shorter. But at the same time, even though the hotel was full, it was never crowded. An unbelievable number of great pool, bars and restaurants did ease it. There’s a few we want to mention particularly, although EVERYONE was great! Fefi @ Provence, extremely friendly, helpful, very caring about my allergies and as well funny; Celeste @ Checkin, making this a great start and taking care of us; Mihailo @ Fresco, very caring, practicing his German and accommodating; Vasilis and George @ Adult Cocktail Bar, they’re not just making awesome drinks, but are very social and nice to chat with; Konstantina @ Beach Club, making us feel really beloved guests; Konstantinos @ Anaya, at our daughters birthday party, making sure she feels like a little princess; Rodrigo @ Pool bar, had a cocktail learning lesson with our daughter and she loved it; Sophia @ Olivia, making sure there was no wish left open, even organized cinnamon for the churros; Maria (Supervisor) @ Fresco, fixing the forgotten birthday party for our daughter, making sure it felt like planned; The Whole water sports team on the beach, where we did a 1h jetski tour; we felt safe and they really accommodated us very well And big thanks as well to Timoleon the general manager. He recognized something small went wrong and took care himself to fix it. Thank you. We will be back!
