Beware that the public space is tiny there. Most of the beach is reserved for the apartment buildings. However the public beach access has security, there a a few vendors but they are discreet and actually cheap and useful cause there’s nothing else around.

Hey there... Hemingway Beach is the best beach near the city of Santo Domingo. White sands, clean environment, good view of the Caribbean Sea. Very good residential projects. ⚠️NO glass materials allowed. Not to many shades.

Empty, lots of rocks but beautiful

Spacious suites, short walk to the beach, nice view, but the building needs maintenance, one of the two elevator was broken, room had holes in wall, spots that appeared to be mold, and a few more crawling insects than I expected(I always expect a few) but I made sure to keep my luggage zipped at all times.

Peaceful and virgin Beach, highly recommend if you need to nurture 😌 yourself. Keep in mind you need to bring anything you might need like 🍪🥟🥨snacks, 💧water etc.
