My daughter and I had a wonderful experience on this excursion. We rode horseback through the national park. The horses we were steady and I never felt unsafe. After, we explored Chico cave where we were able to see many bats and stalagmites hanging all around and then take a dip in the cold cenote area below. They didn't tell us to bring bathing suits so I would recommend you do so if you are doing the cave portion. The guide was friendly and they have someone who will take pictures of you throughout the excursion for purchase. I included some of those photos. Great day! My 14 year old really enjoyed it as well!

Incredible trip with Captain Coco Ecotours, Roland (Captain Coco) and his team made our trip an unique experience that I hope I can repeat very soon. He really knows the country and showed us the unique beaches we were willing to visiting. He suggested some other excursions and I must say that they were all incredible and we had a lot of fun. They are very well organized, know everybody, know all places tourists want to visit and also secret places where you will never find a tourist. If you want to visit Dominican Republic Captain Coco Ecotours is definetly the best option.

This guy is absolutely fantastic. He took care of us for few days and showed us amazing places. Prices were very good compared with anyone else. I highly recommend using those guys. They speak many languages so very easy to make you understood.

Great trip and unlike some other excursions where it can get confusing, our host or the Capt teams made sure we had drinks on the boat, stayed with us through out. They took custom photos, also made sure we got good spots on the beach and got in line early. Habiel was great and his personal service made the difference. Prices also very competitive compared to other Catamaran excursions. Be mindful there is a bit of a walk to the dock on the beach from drop off point in the city. Thanks

I contacted Captain Coco the day before to request about Saona vip tour and was happy to hear that they could organize it. We were picked up by their taxi from our hotel. I was expecting a group of people but we were only 4 plus our guide and the captain. So it was a very private tour which I liked. The weather was windy so the ride in the small motor boat was jumpy. So obviously no dominican music or rhum on the boat - just holding tight to the boat. But the captain was doing a good job. We first arrived to Mano Juan and had a small tour there with our guide and a lunch. The food was ok but cold. We stayed there quite a long time and I was starting to wonder if we were going to visit all the places we were promised. After the lunch we were told that we would go to Playa del Toro which was not in the plan. We told the guide that we were supposed to go to Canto de la playa and piscina natural and after some phone calls it was ok. I don't know what kind of a mix up there was but initially we were not getting what we paid for. Canto de la playa was really beautiful. The natural pool was not that great for us cause it was windy and the water wasn't clear but I can imagine that it's really nice on a calm day. On the way back we were dropped off to our hotel which was great service. We enjoyed our day.

We've booked the catamaran/boat trip to Saona Island. Since there was no website online at that time, we did everything via WhatsApp. The trip via boat to the island and the island itself were nice, as long as there weren't too many people. However, the way back via catamaran was a nightmare for us! The music was so loud we couldn't talk to each other any more and our ears hurt. Most people were very drunk, since Rhum was offered from the beginning. Several times they fall down while dancing. Moreover they did not have control over their drinks in their hands, they spilled it regularly and we were not always able to keep our belongings save from their Rhum-Cola drinks... Unfortunately the tour back took almost as long as the time we had on the island. According to the description of the tour we got via WhatsApp it was not clear at all, that it's a party tour. We would never have booked it! There is another tour, the VIP tour, which is supposed to be more quiet, as it was told us after our trip...

We had 2 trips booked with this tour operator. In both excursions they wrote us the day before trying to change de day of the trip, due to weather reasons. One of them was even cancelled. We could understand that due to weather reason is it dangerous to go on a boat trip, but we asked to a different tour operator, just to try, and they told us the weather was fine and it was possible to do the trip 🤷🏻‍♀️🤷🏻‍♀️🤷🏻‍♀️ our feeling with this tour operator is that they simply didn't wanted to do the excursion. The guide who took us around Santo Domingo was an AMAZING guide, very kind, and he explained us everything with lot of passion. That's why the 3⭐.
