Don't come here often. It's probably the biggest shopping center in El Salvador and probably has the most stores. If you don't find it here you probably wont find it anywhere. Just watch your back as its not usually a problem but its not always safe.

This is a huge shopping centre, great for buying something that you need or just browsing. They have a paid parking with security, and for the first 3 hours it will be a charge of 0.50 cents. Among other places to eat, there's a cafeteria called Maquislihuat where you can find traditional food and is a good value for the price.

Great place to see the types of stores and food that this city has. I had Pollo Comparo and it was delicious. The mall has tons of specialty stores and places to eat. I would go back any time that I travel here. We have similar types of malls in Tampa Florida so I felt comfortable shopping there. Most places spoke English. I appreciate that since I should have known more Spanish before I went there. I would definitely recommend visiting this place.

(Translated by Google) Shaw's Metrocentro is the ideal cafeteria to buy and taste chocolates. It is the traditional chocolate shop in Metrocentro, where you come to drink coffee in a pleasant and fresh atmosphere. They also offer the customer other beverages, such as hot chamomile teas, green tea, soft drinks, cappuccino, sorbets and more specialties. It is recommended to come for the delicious cakes. Good place. It gets too crowded during weekends and holidays but that's to be expected in a mall though. What i dont like is the parking space, most of the times you gotta wait for one to open up.

Great place, overly crowded though. I wouldnt recommend eating at the food court on the weekends. You literally have to scout out a table for you to eat on. You can find almost everything here.

It's a very good looking mall, you can find almost everything you are looking for but there are two problems in my opinion. Some days are too crowded and you could find yourself annoyed by other people's attitude, also, I've seen thieves running away from security guards after robbing someone during daylight or heard how a person has been robbed right next to us without even noticing at night hours, maybe because it's hard to keep track of tons of people coming from all different places of San Salvador or out of it.

Very large, it has many outlets to choose from. Many options for fast food or economic meals. Also very centric and accessible. Would give 5 stars if had more brand name stores like Apple, Armani, Nike, etc.

It is a shopping mall, but it has a lot of diverse restaurants so you can find all kind of food. Good Salvadorian coffee, artisan store and so on. You have to pay for parking, there are plenty of hotels around it.

Very popular shopping center. Big food court, lots of shots and restaurants. Lots of people. Lots of thieves. Beware.

Metrocentro is a very large mall, if I'm not wrong it's the largest shopping mall in Central America. It's nice, they have a wide variety of stores, nearly anything you could need, it has a cinema, and even a theater. It is straight across the Intercontinental Hotel.

Most popular place in San Salvador very recommendable for family & friends reunion, I would say that this is the mall most visited in San Salvador. It has a big parking lot, a movie theater and three department stores, 2 food courts, restaurants, many coffee places in and a little amusement park for children.

(Translated by Google) History Our story began in 1980, when we purchased an existing imported chocolate store from San Francisco. After only once importing the chocolates, the transitional government made the decision to ban “luxury” products from entering the country - in this case, chocolates. With a store already dedicated to the sale of chocolates, we decided to learn how to make chocolates in El Salvador, using raw materials from Central America, in order to offer products with European quality, using local ingredients. Our passion for fine chocolate has only grown since then. After a few years, in order to help pay the rent for the premises, we started selling cakes, cookies and coffee. The first cakes at Shaw’s were the Strata Cake, Chocomacadamia, Cheesecake, Carrot Cake, and Apple Pie. We gradually added specialty coffees (in the form of cappuccino and espressos), gelato, pastry, bakery and specialty pastries, and salty food such as breakfast, salads, soups and sandwiches. We were one of the first specialty coffee shops in the country, and we opened several stores. Over the years, the production of chocolate continued and grew, changing according to need. At the beginning we used hedging, but we saw that to improve quality it was necessary to step back in the chain and make our own hedging, always buying Central American raw materials. Since 2009 we make all our chocolate "bean to bar," producing the entire chocolate chain in our own factory in an "old-fashioned" way using old machinery that is also used in old chocolate shops in honor of the process that creates better flavors. and textures. By purchasing cocoa from different farms, we have the luxury of producing a unique chocolate, with a variation in subtle flavors, depending on the farm where the cocoa was harvested. We buy 100% of the cocoa we use directly from the farm or from the cooperative, sources we trust and whom we know first-hand and appreciate for their effort to offer truly special cocoas. We have a weekly tasting to decide among our experts which cocoas are best for the different types of chocolate we produce. With the passage of 35 years, we have grown as a team, and we continue with the vision and goal of offering international quality products, using first-class fresh and local products, and we hope you will notice the difference in taste and freshness!
