Beautiful restaurant on the volcano. Traditional local food paired with an impeccable view of the city from its deck, this restaurant was the highlight of the weekend for my wife and me. I would highly recommend the grilled shrimp. It’s grilled to perfection - juicy and full of flavor. The Tres Leches cake was really good as well. The milk used here definitely was more milky than what we have in the states. The staff does not speak English, so some patience is required. We were able to find one who speaks a little so it worked out quite well for us.

To maximize your experience, you must arrive here before the sunset. The view of San Salvador is breathtaking 😍. After taking the photos, choose a table outside and be prepared for facing cold weather. Then, it's time to enjoy the wonderful pupusas or one of the good options available. When the bill arrives, you realize that wonderful things, sometimes, are low cost. Wonderful experience. I strongly recommend this place.

The parking is spacious but is not enough for the amount of people trying to get in. The actual restaurant and the view are both beautiful and the food is not bad but there's not a lot to choose from, is also quiet pricey and to be honest I've had better food at a much lower rate but it wasn't terrible either. Also, we were told initially that we had to wait for 40 minutes but ended up going in almost immediately, I cannot guarantee that will happen to you because when we were leaving there were roughly 30 people waiting on the inside of areas of the restaurant and around 50 or more outside and a huge line of cars waiting to get into the parking lot as well so the 40+ minutes waiting time might be normal on the weekends or holidays. If you really want to change your routine this place is a good idea just make sure to take your sweater with you because it could get really cold.
