There are many activities that your kids can do. The butterfly exhibit was pretty amazing and being able to see these wonderful creatures up close was a treat. There was also a big "town" like complex where the kids can freely explore many different activities. You can easily spend 2-3 hours here and they will still have lots to do. It took us about 1.5 hours to go through the exhibition - my daughter is only 5 and can't read but I imagine that older kids could take longer then another 20 minutes for the planetarium. The museum is next to Cuscatlán Park which is also great for kids! My only complaint would be that the museum exhibitions do so well to promote healthy eating but the only places to eat in the museum are Papa John's and Burger King.
