The
Forma
Museum
is
the
only
museum
dedicated
to
the
plastic
arts
in
El
Salvador.
Founded
by
the
painter
Julia
Diaz
who
donated
her
collection
of
paintings
and
sculptures
so
that
Salvadoran
art
would
have
a
public
space
open
to
any
visitor.
Like
any
museum,
a
symbolic
entrance
fee
of
$1
per
person
is
paid
and
this
helps
with
its
maintenance.
There
are
no
specific
guides
inside
the
museum
that
can
give
you
a
tour,
however
the
museum
is
very
well
organized.
Upon
entering
you
will
see
the
Temporary
Exhibition
room
where
you
can
appreciate
the
work
of
contemporary
artists.
It
also
has
a
small
exhibition
of
personal
and
professional
items
from
the
painter
Julia
Diaz,
it
is
a
place
that
we
recommend
because
you
are
transported
to
the
time
where
she
lived.
They
also
have
a
small
souvenir
shop
so
you
can
take
one
with
you.
The
museum
is
divided
into
six
rooms
with
their
respective
themes,
namely:
Room
1
-
Everyday
World
Where
it
is
explained
how
national
art
begins
to
capture
the
living
environment
of
the
peasant
and
indigenous
people,
highlighting
the
figure
of
the
Salvadoran
with
few
resources,
as
a
means
of
presenting
an
aspect
of
human
life
that
art
and
society
had
not
considered
in
a
long
time.
Room
2
and
3
-
Interpretation
of
Reality
Where
you
will
learn
how
works
of
art
become
increasingly
more
complex,
becoming
the
artist's
own
and
very
particular
interpretation,
which
he
wants
to
share
with
us.
Room
4
-
Landscapes
The
artist
evolves
since
he
must
go
out
to
paint
outdoors
to
be
able
to
faithfully
reproduce
the
vibrant
colors
of
nature,
the
shine
produced
by
sunlight
on
the
vegetation
and
on
the
surface
of
the
water,
as
well
as
the
tones
of
the
sky
that
are
evidence
of
a
certain
time
of
day.
Room
5
and
6
-
Fantastic
Vision
Here
you
will
be
able
to
appreciate
where
art
offers
new
possibilities,
taking
us
to
a
world
that
we
do
not
know
through
the
elements
that
make
it
up
but
that
seems
strange
to
us
in
its
total
approach.
Remember
that
you
will
appreciate
art
more
in
silence,
in
deep
reflection
and
meditation.
Respect
the
visitors
in
their
contemplation
and
your
heart
will
swell
with
patriotic
pride.
Works
of
art
by
Salvadoran
hands
for
Salvadorans.
We
know
100
x
100
that
you
will
identify
with
more
than
one
painting
and
you
will
leave
that
place
wanting
all
your
friends
to
know
it.
For
us
it
is
an
excellent
museum
and
the
colonial-style
house
gives
the
perfect
touch
to
the
art.
Location:
Difficult
to
find
for
the
untrained
eye
in
search
of
new
places
and
with
so
much
commercial
advertising
but
only
one
block
from
the
Monument
to
the
Savior
of
the
World.
If
you
can't
locate
yourself
easily,
use
a
location
application.
Enjoy
your
visit
to
the
fullest!
