Everybody says a beautifull playa...there is no playa. There are only big pebble stone playas and the waves are only fun for surfers. The hotels are very expensive. So if you dont have a bunch of money and dont like surfing ore big pebble Stones to sun bath there is realy no reason to go to El tunco beach!!!!!

We come here often and always have a good time. Still trying out different restaurants but never disappoints- a wonderful sunset spot too.

It's also easy to find an Uber that can take you close by but it gets harder at peak hours of the night. Pretty cool destination. Wearing water sneakers is a must while visiting this beach. The nice warm waters are incredibly inviting but the small to large rocks may hinder your walking experience. Sunsets here are outstanding. There are some local bars and eateries close by which plus up this venue. Waves are rough so the water is not really for all ages. Getting here was a bit of a mission, especially if your driver has never been here. A couple of hand written signs guided us to dollar parking less than a block away from the main rock. This didn't really come up on the map so you almost have to know it exists. I'm not sure if these rocks are a must see, but if they are I recommend staying until sunset. You won't be disappointed.
