It is a small park with shade and of course mainly nice because of the view on the church. Enjoy the view while enjoying an icecream.

This city is so beautiful. I brought my mom to El Salvador for here birthday and we went down to Suchitoto. It's like going back in time there are pebbled stoned streets. There is an 18th century church right in the city Square. The city is so clean as well. It's experience and I suggest when in El Salvador you must come visit this gorgeous city.

One of the best places in el salvador. They really did a good job of conserving the old vibe and best part they have manage to create one of the safest placest for tourist. Enjoy the farmers market on the central park. Or the numerous restaurans within walking distance with an amazing view of the lake.

Surrounded by several local businesses with a big diversity of options to eat and drink. There is also a local market where we can buy souvenirs and the 90%of those products are handmade, not to mention that the ride in the train around the town was such a nice experience

Super nice and clean place, the center is full of Salvadoran tourist souvenirs and typical food. Great place for a weekend excursion to see parts of the country. It's about 1 and 30 minutes from the capital.

I'm from this country but I thought I really knew it, and I was wrong. This small place hides beautiful landscapes. I want to do a little riddle. One of the best landscapes you will be able to see here, will be possible just if you look from the eyes of a snake. You'll need to visit this place to understand my words. Please, if you already know what I'm talking about, let people visit Suchitoto and figure it out themselves.

It's such a nice Salvadoran pueblo "very old Town" yoy can walk and there are so many places where you can grab a bite and fun! I must say though it's extremely hot during summer and most places do not offer ac. I suggest donde Polo and casa 1800 to take great pics

Quaint town full of history and good people! The Central Park allows a couoke hours of relaxation and nearby cafe's for refreshments and dining. Please remember when visiting any area, the less fortunate and bless yourself the gift of some help to them.

Cute little place with a cafe and a place to rent group bicycles of various types. There's a loop you can go around on the bikes. Lots of kids and adults there wandering around playing with toys and roller skating. There are areas of sun and shade. Lots of room. Great place for families and small outings. Would not recommend picnics because there's a lot of activity going on. One criticism the stairs going down and up from the main area are spaced strangely and have odd gaps in them so if you have any difficulty walking or folks who are vulnerable to falls with you avoid those.

Suchitoto is a very nice place. It is between the old times with a small historia of the modern life. You can find nice restaurants, coffee shops, and first of all a nice Central Park. The park is full of life with different shops where you can enjoy good local authentic Salvadorenian food and candies. I highly recommend you take a tour around the small town on board of the local train. This is a small train that departs from Central Park and gives you a tour around the main streets and avenues. If you take the ride, ASK the driver to play some music. He won't be shy and will turn on the music as loud as it gets. Enjoy the town and the view to the Suchitoto artificial lake. And most of all enjoy te local people!

(Translated by Google) Suchitoto's church is an architectural gem that began to be erected in 1853. The execution of the work was in charge of Pío José Araujo, the priest Andrés Aguilar being the parish priest, although Don Cayetano Bosque is considered to be the true promoter of the work. The church was inaugurated in 1857, during the post-independence period of the republican period, with its original baroque style with a rococo tendency. Its façade has six Ionic columns and middle arches. Two towers that are erected on both sides, in the middle of which there is a triangular pediment that is crowned by a small tower. Inside the Church there are wooden details that preserve their original design and that have been reinforced for their conservation, such is the case of the hollow columns and forged in the Baroque and Rococo style.

(Translated by Google) Quite a domestic tourist, but in terms of food the prices are too high for us national tourists. In the park there were some dogs that almost bit a girl, there is a lack of more food such as fried yucca, pastries or enchiladas ... for the rest, enough security already that there are the tourist police patrolling.

Too bad two things: the champas in the central park clash with the beautiful architecture of the place and the garbage that people always throw away anywhere. (Original) El pueblo es muy bonito y tiene una arquitectura y ambiente muy agradable. Lástima dos cosas: las champas en el parque central desentonan con la bonita arquitectura del lugar y la basura que la gente siempre bota en cualquier parte.
