We booked a long weekend with them and it was a blast, full of activities, fun, knowledge, and amazing hospitality from all the team. On the first day, Vanessa and Jaime took care of us on a City Tour and El Boqueron with Pupusa Tasting, both were excellent, they even drove us by the rainbow slide that wasn't listed +10 extra points! On the next day, David, Gabi, and Nestor gave us the amazing experience of hiking all the way to the top of Santa Ana Volcano (2,381 m) making the route the most fun and enjoyable as it could be. And the third day was for sure the cherry on top, we met Edwin on our excursion to Honduras to visit Copan Ruins. This whole experience was outstanding and remarkable for us. We really appreciate so much the effort, kindness, and determination during our stay in El Salvador. Had a great walking tour with Michelle, was just the two of us and her. Was some delays at the start and sometimes the information wasn't super clear - but we still learnt lots and was great to speak to a local about life currently in El Salvador

David was wonderful. Super friendly and helpful since we don't speak Spanish. Very knowledgeable. We went to Mayan ruins and coffee tour with him. So glad he was guide for second tour we took also. Only reason not five stars is the car seat belts weren't working properly and a lot of warning lights were on car. Driver did awesome in traffic though! We had Jennifer for the city walking tour and she was terrific. Only second week on job And she did great with her English and her knowledge and pride of her country. We hugged at end of your!

We did the free walking tour. Our tour guide Guillermo is a warm and inviting self study who knew much about the history of ES as well as current events and recent changes in the country. Worth much more than the $5 minimum tip. It was a great way to start our trip in ES.

We did 4 tours with EC Tours El Salvador and they were all excellent ! The first tour was a Walking Tour of San Salvador with Tour guides Jennifer and David. EC Tours arranged our tour on very short notice (same day) after some of our travel plans had changed. We were picked up at our hotel and had an excellent tour of the downtown area, including the Wall of Remembrance, Iglesia El Resario, National Palace, Metropolitan Cathederal (St Romero crypt), street markets, and more. Very enjoyable walk. Jennifer and David are both very knowledgable and passionate about their beautiful country. Then later that day David guided us on a second tour, visiting Joya de Cerren, a cool archaeological site, and an incredible tour of Divina Providencia Chapel where Archbishop Oscar Romero (now Saint Romero) was murdered back in 1980. We had a special interest in the Chapel and Archbishop Romero, and David was able to arrange an excellent tour of the Chapel and Romero's living quarters and museum located on the premises. David arranged for us to see these sites even though the attraction had actually closed early for the day. We would never have been able to do this without David's extra efforts ! Mucho gracias David ! The next day we did the Tazmal and San Andreas archaeological sites and then visited Cerro Verde National Park, doing a hike and viewing the Santa Anna and Izalco volcanos with our Guide Melissa and driver Walter. Melissa was a wonderful guide, very knowledgable and accommodating. Always attentive to our needs and stopping anywhere we wanted to take a photograph. Walter was an excellent, safe driver, expertly navigating San Salvador traffic, and very courteous, always opening car doors for us. The next day we did the Ruta de Las Flores tour, again with Guide Melissa and Driver Walter. Another awesome experience visiting beautiful colonial cities, along with a coffee farm visit. We also had an excellent traditional Salvadoran lunch at a market recommended by Melissa. The tour was truly like visiting El Salvador with friends ! We highly recommend EC Tours El Salvador, and Guides Jennifer, David, Melissa , and Driver Walter, our new friends and amigos !

I took three tours with EC Tours (Wilman and Michelle lara were my guides. Both were awesome, fun, knowledgeable and made great conversation. I especially have to praise Wilman, there was a very unpleasant guest on the tour and he handled it so well keeping the gentleman calm and making sure it didn't create a negative experience for me. I'm very thankful for Wilman's effort.

Great experience! Great street food, best meal I've ever had for under $9! The coffee was great and the towns of Ruta Las Flores were awesome! Rene was great and full of information and willing to get us experiences that were not on the original itinerary.

I had a really bad experience with EC Tours.. I booked a shuttle from el Tunco to Leon.the morning they where gonna pick me up, no one came, and they apperently booked me in on the wrong day (I texted them the right day). Now I have to pay for another night in el tunco, another pcr test and I loose 1 full day of my 1 week surf trip.. They kind of tried to help, but said that they couldn't find anything else (and neither could I)..

Had an excellent walking tour today with Edwin and Wendy. There was only 3 of us so it was very personal. Really great tour with enough sights to make you feel you've seen the main points and plenty of history but not boring at all. Highly recommended.

I hired them for airport transfers, Lago Coatepeque tour, and Ruta de las Flores tour. They are knowledgeable on the history of El Salvador and learned so much from them. We spent a week in El Salvador with our two children ages 5 and 3. The trip was amazing, the kids had an amazing time, our tour guide Estafany and our driver Jamie were patient and warm with the children. They worked hard to keep the kids entertained. Estafany was knowledgeable about the places we visited and also helped us out with random things like getting our laundry done mid week. We hiked volcanoes, went crocodile watching in a mangrove forest, and visited archaeological sites. The company was professional and on time as well. I highly recommend EC tours, and had a wonderful time.

We participated in the EC Tours free walking tour of historical centre of San Salvador. Our guide was outstanding, and the walk was terrific. We started at Parque Cuscatlán, strolled through the University and Hospital campuses, through the market, past a few squares, churches, statues and the Palacio Nacional de El Salvador. My favorite part was visiting the interior of the Iglesia El Rosario. You have to go inside to truly appreciate its design and purpose. Ended the tour w Papusas and Horchata and some good coffee. Our guide helped is get an Uber back to our hotel and we loved every minute of this experience. Based on tips! Tip well :)

The tour started on time. It went over the rich history of el salvador with civil war, MS 13, and churches how the current president is making the policy changes to make the life of the local people better. We also stopped to shop for local fruits and juices. Joshua and Eduardo were very entertaining and informative about the history of places and the country. Highly recommended for people who wants to know local people, food and history better.
