It’s been always the hotel I choose every time I visit El Salvador. I tried other big hotels within downtown El Salvador and this is the only hotel with a nice view. Request to be on the seventh floor, you will experience nature with splendid quiet mornings. I like the attention they give and the accesible things around the area with no hassle to get around, despite the traffic through downtown, this hotel gives good comfort.

Roberto and Jonathan were spectacular…… they made this visit so easy taking care of every question and concern we had as well as translating for us at any time….. they truly made us feel like family….. I wish I could give this places ten stars instead of just five……. The buffet breakfast was delicious everyday our room were cleaned spotless daily. I really appreciate every member of the staff during our stay they were truly amazing.

This place used to be my go to Hotel in El Salvador until last July when the receptionist did not let me check in to my room because their system "was down" I got to the hotel a bit late but I had already paid for my reservation through Expedia. The receptionist was very rude and told me that if I had arrived earlier before the system went down. He refused to give me more information and told me I had to wait an hour or two more if I wanted to check in. He brushed things off by saying to call Expedia or the hotel brand managing this, Expedia refuses to refund back plus this hotel does not have a working customer service number, which means you have to contact the hotel directly for them to tell you the same thing all over again. I wish I could get a refund for the 2 rooms this hotel did not let me check in to, at this point they have basically just stolen my money and leave no way into fixing this. If for any reason you arrive after midnight into this hotel, beware they may not let you check in and still make no way for you to get your money back, they basically like to steal and give you no way to fight this.

Lovely hotel. Clean, spacious with excellent facilities and a fantastic breakfast! Staff were very welcoming in check-in and quick to amend the dates that they had not updated from prior correspondence. They were attentive and assisted us with advice and taxis to fill our free time. The swimming pool was great- clean, well-maintained and ambient temperature. The gym was well-stocked and clean too. Location- very easy to get around in San Salvador and well placed next to the World Trade Centre for an array of food. The Sunday handicraft market there was an added bonus. Breakfast was fantastic- delicious fresh fruit, pastries and local fare. The coffee was divine and my friendly waitress always filled my big travel mug for me each morning- very much appreciated to fuel the day ahead. Dinner was also good- the buffet was fab with fresh barbecued meat but I also loved the coconut and mango salad and the prawn mac ‘n’ cheese.

Okay. A mixture of ultra modern with a fair amount of roughness.

The place was under remodeling...so it was a little uncomfortable. Though, it has very friendly staff. I had food delivered to my room, barbecue wings 😋

Smells of unorganized managed the moment you step in to the new Hilton reception area. Receptionists take a bit longer than normal and they don't give you instructions about anything like wifi, breakfast, or that your room is in a completely different building from the one that you're in. The Plaza Suites is old. No blankets. No air conditioning. Fire alarm starts beeping every 30 seconds from 4:30am. (Maybe some maintenance would be good) All for about $90. The breakfast atmosphere is nice (the coffee isn't great), and at least there's no party music going on all night.
