I stayed here for a week while conducting a training and for it being my first time they left any amazing impressions. The breakfast buffet was delicious and the view to my room was extraordinary. The staff was always so helpful with food ideas and place to go and see. If you plan on visiting El Salvador I highly recommend the Crowne Plaza.

This place is outstanding! Superb customer service from the time you enter the installation. Nice bar atmosphere and DJ, delicious choices for breakfast with made to order pupusas. Everything you can dream for a nice get away time.

I want to share my first review in English just because I know there's a lot of people that are looking for a budget place to stay and visit the city of San Salvador. The hotel is very comfy and the breakfast is delicious, this is included if you stay overnight, so be prepared if you stay here and want to eat very good and a lot after a party or a hangover, plus. If you just want to have a nice weekend or relax with your lovely one, the views are amazing also, overall a great experience, will comeback

Rooms were cleaned with fresh towels everyday! Front desk and concierge were very friendly. The breakfast buffet ($23.95) and menu choices were worth it. Need more English speaking employees. Parking spots were very tight! Centrally located in a nice neighborhood.

Great hotel in a excellent location. Service was good. ***Update*** Came back and it's a Hilton. Check ✔️ In experience is slow to the point they have sign up. Being a Hilton Honors member had to wait to past 4pm to get my room.

Everyone at the hotel was very helpful. The room was great and I really loved the gym with several cardio machines and weight machines in addition to free weight. They even have a foam roller. The bathroom in the gym has a sauna as well.

From the time we walked in to the time we left the service level was top notch. All for a very reasonable cost. The room was clean and neatly organized. The hotel gym was excellent. The best part of this hotel was the service. The staff was incredibly friendly. My family enjoyed chatting with the front desk staff who would help us with any questions regarding the surrounding areas. My wife loved the view of the volcano. We even got a good tip of where to buy neighborhood pupusas :) Highly recommend this hotel. Also, their is a great mall just a block away that has excellent food as well.

Awful service. We were put here after our Delta flight was delayed. The restaurant failed to tell us we had a limit of $15/person for food due to the airline, and got upset that we wanted to change our order so we were within the limit. They tried to intimidate us with their manager and blamed us for not knowing we had a limit. The food was good, though, but they did mess up my order, after being told several times both in Spanish and English.

Neat hotel and room. Great service and courteous personnel. Food for breakfast is where I have something to say. Very generic, not a variety. Food is like from a 2 stars hotel. Fruit is served like tutti frutty, very chopped, and in such tiny containers. Tables inside or outside the restaurant without tablecloths. Fake horrible plants, the only decor! Waitresses and waiters not trained! That restaurant needs a makeover not to look depressing to eat on vacations. First and last staying at this "5 stars" hotel.--- I forgot to mention, that what all hotels have in their rooms---, like refrigerator, microwave and hair dryer; in this hotel, you have to ask for, and they bring it to you, very inconvenient!!!!

If you want 5 star treatment, attention to detail and professionalism, this is the place to stay! Hands down, there is no better Hotel in San Salvador than the Crowne Plaza. The hotel has everything you need to make sure your stay is as comfortable as possible, again the best hotel service I have experienced. Ive traveled to Santo Domingo, Costa Rica and this has been the best stay Ive ever had in any hotel. Truly top notch service. Here is a few things that stood out to me. Restaurant staff! The most attentive, shout out to Roberto Garcia best waiter in El Salvador, the man will convince you the hotel pupusas are worth trying, im glad i did too! Gotta try them! Transportation, Fredy Soto! hes part of the taxi service exclusive to the Hotel, they only offer service to the hotel guests, they will take you anywhere in the country and back. If you end up somewhere they will drive to pick you up and take you back to the Hotel. That to me is awesome, peace of mind I can wander off and can still get back to the hotel safe. They have taxi guys working 24 hours a a day. Cant say enough! Going back in September to catch some beach action, beaches are 1-1/2 hours away, im planning on using these guys. Dont hassle with car rental, youll spend more on gas and get lost. Love the hotel and staff!!

The staff was handling many check-ins on a busy holiday weekend and they were still smiling. As a Platinum IHG member, we were upgraded to a volcano view room and offered some complimentary drinks, which was unexpected and appreciated during such a busy time. Luis was incredibly helpful and kind, showed us how to get to the connecting Plaza so we didn't have yo walk outside on the street at night, and explained our options to get to the airport the next day. The room was clean and had a fantastic view. Every member of staff we interacted with was polite and offered a level of service that's hard to find these days...not to mention the generous wine pours. It will be the hotel of choice when staying in the city on future visits! (If you're comparing the Sheraton Presidente: the rooms at the Sheraton are a bit bigger, and the pool is nicer, but the staff and service didn't compare. The surrounding area is nice at both places, with better shopping at Crowne Plaza, and better art at the Sheraton.)

I have traveled worldwide Hilton- so on a comparable scale this is the worst experience I have had with this place- Hilton brand should be ashamed of this. The rooms are dirty and small, the gold and platinum members are pushed to use a small serving area for breakfast instead of the regular breakfast. Are gold and platinum members being pushed with cheap breakfast ? Just to satisfy the free breakfast option provided by worldwide Hilton? there is no refrigerator or microwave in the room and when asked for same- they are brought in with live wires all over the place without considering any safety. There is no real place to work in the common place for business folks- they say that the coffee place is 24 hours - but the rules change depending on who is managing the coffee shop. The business center is so small - it offers no privacy for people using it. I don’t recommend - shame on Hilton brand. I asked for the local manager - the staff refused to give his contact number or his email - hence I am posting his name here so he can contact me asap

This is really a great hotel to stay at! The grounds are very well kept, personnel is always attentive and super helpful, breakfast buffet is great, rooms are comfortable and always clean. Close to many amenities and in a very safe area. My go to hotel when I’m in San Salvador!

Everything was nice. The breakfast had a huge variety of options.. The restaurant was good based on what I ordered. The room was nice and clean with a great view.

To simply say the staff is friendly and helpful is a tremendous understatement. The staff is amazing! The breakfast is wonderful, and the workout room is really well maintained and roomy. The grounds are beautiful. Well done.

Recently stayed there for a few days. The staff was excellent, kind, polite and extremely attentive. However, it is awful that they still have to wear masks despite the guests and management not doing so. It is extremely useless and patronizing not to mention how bad for the health of the employees it is. Treat your staff like humans rather than robots.

Excellent place, been there a few times and absolutely definitely will come back. Great front desk with very accommodating polite and friendly staff, bar and the servers were excellent and the DJ and Young lady at event coordinator Adri Corpeno all were excellent and welcoming. Thanks for great help and service.

Considered one if the best hotels in San Salvador. Jajajaja that's just a joke. They call themselves 5 star, another joke. Avoid it. No quality at all and stars here in SC apparently falls out of the sky by themselves. I give them 2 stars and that's generous

It’s just great in all aspects. The breakfast is wonderful, the gym is very nice, the rooms were very clean and well arranged. Beautiful hotel located on a beautiful spot. Overall I had a wonderful stay.

The Rooms are nice, if you are looking for a place to sleep when you go on business. I have to tell that the old building is a little bit uglier, but those rooms are ok too. For a business trip.

Please avid this place!! Stayed here for 2 days from 06/14/22 till 06/16/2022 .Made a two days reservation online and they couldn’t even find my reservation in their system .after arriving to the hotel , had to wait about an hour and 20 mins for them to find my reservation. In fact , they couldn’t give me a logical explanation as of why this happened . Asked the suepervio for a breakfast to be added as a courtesy and the manager said not because basically it was not their fault that they Couldn’t find me on the system. Super frustrating because people don’t seem to know what they are doing . Lost two valuable gold chains and they haven’t gotten back to me about the issue with a final conclusion about the investigation. Please avoid this place !!!!

AMAZING!!! Wonderful service from the very beginning, and if you are looking for some great food and drinks let me tell you, the food was just delicious, and Mr. Silvestre the Bartender prepares phenomenal cocktails, those margaritas where the highlight of my night! It was absolutely wonderful I definitely recommend this place.

This place has a great location in city, this time I visited just to gather with a friend staying here, to have a chat and dinner. Crowne Plaza has a fine restaurant with a wide variety of dishes, service at the restaurant was excellent and food was nice. We ordered bruschetta as an entrance to share and a dish from the Sandwich section and portions are good and satisfactory.

I always stay here, however this time I'm extremely disappointed with dishonest charges. First of all they couldn't find my reservation then when I was checking out they said they didn't have internet. When I came home I got charges for $650.00 and I told them why? my charges supposed to be $430.00 they told me it was just a block for the higher amount but they were going to correct it, so I requested and invoice to be send send to my email. I checked out the 19th but they again charged me another $139.80 on the 22nd, How sad that you lose clients for a few dollars!

Very nice hotel. The mountain view was very nice. Swimming pool and weight room was enjoyable. Breakfast was delicious. The only down fault, no where really to go. The Towers were next to the hotel , but mostly small restaurants. We were confined to the Hotel. Also had a small bar, bartenders we're very polite.

Nice clean hotel with friendly staff. Fantastic breakfast and nice club on 7th floor.

I had some issues when I checked in but the front desk supervisor or manager named Rocio helped me out. Roció was courteous, knowledgeable and respectful and she made our stay so much more enjoyable!! Thank you Rocio!!!!

This was my first time to El Salvador and it has been the best! The staff here has been the most kind and sincere and the service has been incredible. Everything is clean, the decor is beautiful and luxurious. The dining at the hotel has been impeccable! Enrique the captain of the restaurant has been so helpful and my family is so grateful for the service he has provided to us. I would definitely stay here again.

I loved everything about this hotel is close to a lot of great places to walk. The food is incredible. The rooms are incredible and the service is phenomenal. I would recommend staying here. The only thing I would probably change the drinks. The drinks were pretty whack. Pretty lame if you asked me for it being high-quality place.
