I booked this hotel after seeing the ratings, location within walking distance of a conference my dad was traveling to El Salvador for, and the low price. That was a mistake. My dad showed up to check into the hotel, saw that it was not in a good part of town, and thought the hotel itself looked sketchy. He did not feel safe even going in. When we requested a refund the same day that he was supposed to check in after he saw the place, the hotel said that they had to abide by their strict policy of no refunds for the 1st day of the stay if you let them know the day of, whether you see the place and are concerned for your safety (among a plethora of likely alternatives for not staying there that many hotels would see as exceptions to the rule and give a full refund for) or wanted to switch to another hotel just for kicks and giggles. That's not right.

First i want to start by saying that while staying here my Pandora ring mysteriously went missing. We stayed in this hotel for 5 nights, the first night there was an infestation of ants on one bed and roaches crawling on my toothbrush in the washroom… I understand this is Latin America but i thought that a 4 star (Google) hotel would have some pest control. It was also very loud due to construction happening outside our room. They changed our room for the rest of the 4 nights which didn’t have as many pests but it was very loud in the morning, you can hear the staff talking, playing music and doing dishes. They also have deodorizers in the room that you cannot turn off yourself but the staff can turn off for you, it smells like baby powder which was gross in my opinion. Breakfast was good, but the drinks are too expensive. The pool has a nice water feature but it is cold. Overall, i would appreciate if someone at this hotel would own up to what happened to my jewelry. It has a lot of sentimental value and i would pay to have to shipped back to me if it was recovered.

Got doble bed room for a customer. Got so many complains, there is no cable ,nor hot water, rooms are very dirty, pool dirty.. last time I take customers into that hotel. I don't recommend it,there are other hotels close by for almost the same price.

I was somehow skeptical when first arrived to the hotel during the late evening hours; check in was smooth, my reservation was set and no issues personnel was courteous at front desk; next morning i was surprised how different it looked, to start my day. Everyone was very nice making sure I was all set for my week. Food at the restaurant is good and affordable for its location (Colonia Escalon) if you want to stay around the area. Overall clean rooms, bathroom was small in my room but sufficient for my needs, clean towels and toiletries in a daily basis and/or if requested. Very clean small pool and area. Very comfortable clean queen size beds! Employees are friendly, humble and helpful at any moment requested! I had visits from outside and were hosted as guests! I will return to stay for sure and will recommend it to all visiting San Salvador. Cozy friendly place!
