This hotel was fantastic! We were here for a week for a business trip and they took really great care of us! The staff were always friendly and helpful, even helping me with my Spanish a few times! The breakfast is one of the best I have had, with your own egg creation station (the poached eggs were great!). They even remembed our coffee order from one day to the next! The rooms are very spacious, and everything you need!

As the world gets crazier, we should not shy away from traveling solo, but towards traveling WISER and safer. I want to give a VERY special acknowledgement to Hyatt! Everytime i left my hotel, I gave the license plate number & my estimated return time to the front desk staff at the hotel. They are so sweet, they have been looking after me my entire trip! Because of these girls, I was able to enjoy a trip abroad, ALONE, but comfortable. I knew if I went missing, they would notice. I am GRATEFUL. Not to mention my hotel room was fabulous and the property was beautiful.

Great Hotel at a great Location in San Salvador! I visited San Salvador for business. They recommended the Hyatt centric to me because it has a great location. It is conveniently located close to a mall, restaurants, and stores. The hotel also has a restaurant and the food is fairly good. I had to order room service once and it was totally worth it. The Rib Eye was perfectly cooked. Price about $30. This space in the rooms is well distributed. I added a video to give you an idea. It was pretty clean.

Excellent place to stay and cannot find the words to express how satisfied we as a family are with the cleaning areas and the 5 star service from Nativo Bar at the lobby and the restaurant. Special comments to Salvador at the lobby bar, very attentive, efficient and truly a specialist at the bar and service. This guy deserves not only a promotion but the opportunity to put all his knowledge of the field to keep Hyatt growing. We've been to thousands of places, bars, restaurants around the globe, and his attention to every detail while keeping a gentle and friendly smile left us fully satisfied of what Hyatt has to offer. Keep it up!!!

I went to El Salvador for the first time and a friend recommended this hotel. It was clean, modern, new and the staff was friendly and welcoming. The beds and pillows were very comfortable, the rooms have light sensors under the bathroom cabinets and under the night tables so when you walk, they will light up. The views were mediocre but I did not go there to spend time inside of the room. The breakfast buffet was excellent with plenty of food and beverage options. The bar has delicious cocktails too. The hotel is attached to a mall so you can go walk around, shop and eat. Recommend.

We didn't know what to expect coming to San Salvador, but we loved the Centric in Guatemala City and wanted to check out their sister hotel. We are so glad we did! The hotel is new, spotless, and has character and charm. The service pre-arrival from Lillian was so helpful arranging transport and we were greeted by Lula who took great care of us. The whatsapp service chat is great! Eirrnt was so kind with our luggage. Breakfast was tasty with lots of fresh fruits and vegetables. Highlights were the herb butter, cinnamon rolls, salads, mango, and the eggs to order as well as the pupusas. It was disappointing and surprising that espresso drinks are charged additionally and isn't aligned with our experience of the brand. Angel and Adri took amazing care of us! Globalist treatment was good. We weren't able to get upgraded rooms because the hotel was sold out of suites, but we were offered to change halfway through our stay. Housekeeping was notably good, exceptional. The pool was too cool for us but likely fun when it's super hot out. Definitely the best place to stay in San Salvador and we hope to come back!

I loved this property. The lobby on the second floor is welcoming, airy, chill and modern. You'll find a chic café (El Salvador is a major coffee producer) and a restaurant. The daily restaurant breakfast buffet is expansive. And it includes a Salvadorian delight - pupusas. There's a roof top pool on the 3rd floor with a bar / restaurant. The pool was a 'party scene' 2 of 3 nights when during our March 2023 - fashion week party and 25 year old birthday party. We ate tacos at the poolside bar. There so good that we returned on our third night. We stayed at the hotel twice so we experienced two different rooms on the 8th floor. This is the top floor. 801 is a suite. We had a separate living area, kitchenette. The suite has an expansive bathroom and shower room too. On return we stayed in 701. This room was fantastic too, loved the seating area in front of the window. The views of the city and surrounding mountains are gorgeous. The hotel offers free parking in the lower level parking structure. There is a guard at the parking entrance 24 hours a day. I highly recommend this hotel. Chic accommodations and great value.

As a discoverist Hyatt Member I felt insulted when i was told that buffet breakfast was not included, i was quoted an additional $84 per day to include breakfast. I have stayed at many Hyatt hotels in different countries and this is the first one that does not provide free breakfast. If I had known this I would have stayed somewhere else. Avoid this place at all cost. I will not be returning to this Hyatt. Update 04/26/23 I just want to clarify that I have been able to get free breakfast as a discoverist at manny Hyatts, including in Mexico and USA. I'm not expecting a buffet but how much can a continental breakfast cost? I had to go to Super selectos and was able to get a nice breakfast for under $5. I contacted Alexandra at 2528700 and i got "numero que ud marco no existe" is there another tel. Number or email where i can reach you?

I am not a big fan of big hotel chains but the charm of this Hyatt made a big difference. The hotel rooms were very spacious, clean, bright and very well decorated. I really appreciated the hospitality of all those who have helped accommodate our stay. I will definitely be back. It would have been nice to have breakfast included in the total.

I highly recommend this hotel, it’s an amazing deal. Excellent service, clean and modern rooms, free parking, free internet, nice pool area, $20 per person for buffet breakfast, a lot nice spots to take pics, connected to the mall, near alot of the nice restaurants and night life. However, the popular excursions like Cafe Albania and Nawi Beach are 1.5 hour away but I still stay here in the capital, it feels more safe and secure compared to the other locations

First time in El Salvador we lodged at this new location. Definitely a great view, the food and people were great and bilingual. Rooms service was promptly done upon request, everything is in the area so Uber cost less than $5 USD to get around. The convenience of the mall was a life saver for me, I forgot my red dress for a dinner party , we walked to the boutique shop at the entrance and found one at a great price. I must say the experience was absolutely worth the price. I would recommend this hotel.

I was on holiday with my mother and I for the first time in about 20 years. The room service was spot on everyday. I was very impress with how friendly everyone was and ready to help. I want to give Jacquelyn a HUGE THANK YOU for being an amazing pool bartender and being super sweet when we had a small emergency with my mother. She was very attentive and super helpful.

We stayed on the 8th floor (top floor) for 3 nights. This hotel is in a great location with two nice size malls on either side. The staff are very well trained and offer smiles and hellos everytime you walk by them. The room was quite average size with a huge window. The dark screen to keep out the light was useful while sleeping. The pool and gym area is modern and clean. The restaurant had great food and staff. We sat out on the terrace with birds coming by as we had our breakfast. Overall I would stay here again and I highly recommend this hotel.

We came to El Salvador for a vacation and chose to stay at the Hyatt Centric. This hotel has everything that you need, great location and amenities, friendliest staff, amazing food and all the views. We stayed for 3 nights in a Standard 2 Queen Room and then returned back from the country side a day earlier to spend another 2 nights as we loved everything here so much, we got upgraded to a Two Queen Suite based on our Globalist Status and we couldn’t have asked for anything better. All the rooms are equipped with a Keurig, a Dry Bar hair dryer and an electric kettle, we had to heat some food and asked where the microwave was located, but they sent someone with a microwave to our room to heat it up ourselves. The bar downstairs and the poolside is open till midnight and they make killer Espresso Martinis with fresh espresso shots off the coffee cafe they have. We had food on our last night in the hotel lobby and it was nothing short of great, we ordered room service but asked them to serve us in the lobby and it was as smooth as it could be. Gabriel was always around to help us, he had great recommendations for places to visit, always had a smile when we walked in or out of the hotel and asked us about our experiences in the country. We also happened to speak to Jaime, the manager from the kitchen, the staff from the breakfast buffet remembered us every morning and knew exactly what we would want. Overall, it was definitely one of the best Hyatt stays we’ve ever had in terms of the property, location, amenities, staff, food and hospitality.

Love this place. For sure will be returning. Shout out to the bell boy, Fernando was amazing!! Saul at the front desk made sure we had everything and even checked up on us with a phone call later throughout the day. They’re on point with the room service. The food was top tier. 5/5 rating

The hotel just inagurated about a year ago. The staff is overly affable and has neat rooms. Went for business and rooms had all the amenities they advertise. Will come back soon. The bar closes at 12pm on weekdays, so a plus for that!

The place is beautiful, the rooms are fabulous but my room faced the office building across the hall and they left the lights on all night and I couldn’t sleep because it was too bright. Maybe you can put some better curtains in those rooms, because Walmart left their office lights on the whole night!! It was very frustrating and I slept very poorly.

The rooms were spacious and modern. The hotel in general was beautiful. But, what sets this hotel apart from the rest is the CUSTOMER SERVICE! It was phenomenal. Any time of day or night that I had a question (and I had quite a few) they responded. All of the recommendations they gVe were spot on. I'm usually an Air BnB type of girl but this place has changed my mind about hotels. Hands down my best experience in not just a Hyatt but any hotel.

This hotel has it all. What I mean by that it has a gym, a bar, a cafe, a restaurant, swimming pool, and two malls. The room was nice and modernized. The bed was comfortable and the food was great. I enjoyed my stay there, so I’m definitely coming back.

The staff at this hotel is amicable and courteous! The location is right next to the large shopping mall and is close to the bars and clubs. It is far from activities/excursions, but it is an excellent central location to be at.

The United States Hyatt’s are more affordable and the quality of customer service is better. I paid close to $300 a night and yes the place is beautiful but it requires better customer service specially from their dining staff. They are not friendly and we did not receive the level of customer service we would have expected for that price.

Amazing hotel! Very very clean. Security makes you feel safe. Mall is very nice w a decent food court. Food served in hotel is top quality. Unfortunately I was there for Super Bowl Sunday and could not enjoy the pool w the family as there was an event going on. Staff is super pleasant and welcoming. Can’t say anything negative about this place other than not able to enjoy the pool. WiFI and cable tV works phenomenally had no issues getting either anywhere in the hotel.

We had an excellent experience at this property. The rooms were well appointed with everything you could possibly need (and we were in town for a wedding, so we needed a lot). Excellent showers, good a/c, sitting and work space within the room, comfortable beds, ironing board, small closet, professional hair dryer, mini fridge, keurig, and even a large tv. Everything was spotless, daily cleaning crew did a nice job as well. The hotel has a nice pool (with bar and food), a nice new gym, coffee and pupusa bar, and a very good breakfast buffet/dining area. We also ate at the hotel restaurant on our first night and it was very good. All of the staff members we encountered were professional, extremely helpful and kind. The location of the hotel is very convenient - there is shopping, food options, gas station, pharmacy, etc. Within a short walk and you are a reasonable drive from many activities, which the hotel can help schedule.

Definitely the most beautifully decorated hotel in the country, rooms are spacious and comfortable, you will absolutely love the furniture! Some of the hotel is ocean/surfing themed and it even has its own pupuseria inside. Life safety is seriously supervised in this property. It’s GM Gabriel and his carefully selected team will make you feel better than at home!

We are us citizens and drove from the us .when we arrived we told the lady we just drove from guatemala Hyatt and had a great stay and they sent us here and they lady said they had no rooms. So when we went to booking. Com and we found a lot of rooms so we booked on line and had to pay 486 for one night. So we booked and then there was a problem with our dogs being over 22lbs. We have service dogs protection. They finally gave us a room after a hassle . We only stayed because we were tired of driving from USA.

We really enjoyed our stayed at the Hyatt Centric in San Salvador. I't's a new built hotel. Even the towels smelled like new. My view from our window was beautiful and you step out the hotel and have easy access to the shopping area. We met the architect who designed it. It's beautiful and there is plenty of sitting area to drink your coffee and chat. The staff was friendly and polite. We will go back. The rooms are clean.

We decided to spend a night at this hotel and it was a great experience. The room service was quick and very responsive. Unfortunately, the weather was not so nice and we decided not to use the pool. However, the pool area was nice. The included breakfast was not so good and it took some time to get our pupusas. But other than that, it was a great experience.

Clean hotel, aesthetically pleasing and super generous staff (but then again you can always expect generosity from, us, Salvadoreños). Located in a convenient area next to the big malls in San Salvador, you’ll find easy access to places nearby or the main highways to outside towns. Lula (the lady at the front desk who checked us in) provided tips and gave us a friendly tour of the hotel. The restaurant serves delish food. All in all, 10/10 recommend!

It's a really nice and new (2 months) hotel. Pros - nice and quiet rooms - safe - nice pool - nice gym - nice staff Cons - the location is more of a suburb of san Salvador but close enough - growing pains as they are new, for instance I was charged twice for my room, one by a third party and one by hotel, they are reversing the charge - the breakfast isn't included and is kinda expensive. And I wish they were more consistent with attention as a lot of times I had to ask for coffee. No big deal but it's something to improve - price, it's a little more expensive than the other hotel I stay at, the Barcelo It's a nice hotel and I would stay here again. I would like to give a shout out to Carlos who was the first person we met when we got there and took our bag and showed us the room. He was very kind and attentive. He treated my friend really kindly and helped him find me at the restaurant when my friend couldn't locate me. Just a nice and pleasant man and the type of employee that you like customers to meet first as it creates good first impressions.

Great place to stay if you plan on being around the main city in El Salvador. Staff is super nice and attentive and the rooms are absolutely exquisite. Book your stay with Lula at the front desk she’s awesome

My stay at Hyatt Centric San Salvador this Mother’s Day week has been fantastic ! Truly exceptional service , the check-in process as a World of Hyatt member was a breeze . Daily breakfast buffet with so many truly special Salvadorean food options mixed in with more standard Americanized fare . I have uploaded many pictures of the interior design that is so refreshing ! They have incorporated the natural Salvadorean coastal authenticity decor with very modern touches throughout . Several seating options . Pet friendly !! Franco , Lula , Alejandra and Luis at the front desk have provided exceptional service to us during our stay . They have truly ensured a pleasant and comfortable stay . Abigaíl and Yackie have been wonderful during our daily buffet experiences , so kind always greeting us with a smile and pleasant attitude

This is a new hotel and is beautiful in a great location. Everyone was nice and helpful. we stayed 2 nights August 2022 (last week). The pool on the 3rd floor is beautiful with a view of La Gran Via mall. it is modern with great details in the decor. it is connected to a mall and there is a bar next to it on second floor.

I love my experience at the Hyatt Centric. Based on my experience at the different luxury hotels in El Salvador, this one is the best. I loved how beautiful the entire hotel is, from the entrance to the rooms. You can tell everything is new. The room is designed so well and feels cozy. Amazing bathroom and view. I liked the location, within walking distance of “La Gran Via” which is full of stores and restaurants. Ubers to Bambu area is around $2. The pool is beautiful and the view especially at night, even with bar next to it and comfy seats to lounge. The gym is great. My only complaint would be that breakfast was not included which surprised me and costs $19.99 per person I believe. Food was good and so was the service. Overall I highly recommend, just look out to make sure breakfast is included in your amenities.

Overall a great experience there. The staff was so professional and kind, they greet you everytime they see you. They're way more polite than any other hotel I've been in, including those in the US. The rooms are excellent, and it's a cheaper stay than any Airbnb in San Salvador at the moment, many of which have gotten way too expensive. We would definitely go back at some point.

Because of Hurricane Julia we were forced to leave our home in San Blas. Hyatt Centric is a new hotel connected to Las Cascades Mall. The rooms are modern and very clean. Restaurants serves a variety of traditional dishes. The staff is well trained and bi-lingual. We had a wonderful stay.... 2nd visit was for my daughters birthday. Service was very good. The restaurant dishes were not very good this time. Pasta was mediocre at best and the pupusas left much to be desired. Maybe next time we will have a better result.

Gorgeous hotel, super clean and modern. The staff is like no other. They helped us as soon as we arrived all the way to our room. They do a great job with making you feel like you are on vacation and do a great job answering any questions you have. I also love that you can walk out to the shopping mall and that it’s close to everything. Will definitely be staying here again!

Modern and well designed. I loved the areas with lots of natural light and air. Rooms and beds are comfortable enough for rest and repair and bathroom is just perfect. I prefer hotels with no carpets, so this was perfect. Rooms also have a huge window and seat which I found perfect for reading or work. Smart lights when you get up at night and enter the bathroom. The table is like a surfboard. Really nice touch.

The hotel is nice. The rooms are big. There is a small mall within the hotel and additional malls close to the hotel. The food was good and the service was not bad.

I stayed here for a week and was treated extremely well. The service was great, the food delicious and the location convenient. I highly recommend if you are staying in the City that you stay at this hotel. I used it as my base of operations as I explored San Salvador, the surrounding towns and of course the beach.
