Castello medievale con museo al suo interno, entrambi gratuiti, per salire nella cima del castello bisogna fare una lunga scalinata e si può salire solo in gruppi di poche persone dato che la scala è molto stretta. Una volta scesi di fianco al castello c è un piccolo museo. Ottimo panorama, luogo da visitare.

Nice quiet little village. The castle and museum are open in morning 9-12 and from april till october also from 16-19h. Beautiful view.

I didn't get to see the castle from the inside, but it's plenty lovely from the outside. The views from the castle plaza are spectacular as well. Worth stoping by if you are staying in the area. If anything, you gotta do it for "The gr@m".

Lovely experience. We went on a Sunday and got there just in time to climb up the tower (was closing at 11am). The tiny museum is full of artifacts dating from Etruscan and Roman times and more. Larciano is part of the Sentiero Leonardiano and is very close to Vinci. I would have gladly paid an entrance fee or at least left a donation but there was no charge. It’s run by volunteers!

Nice place and surroundings with great view. Unfortunately the tower is closed on Mondays, we will go back another day to climb to tower.

Find views and a lovely little village too.

Incantevole torre medioevale con al suo interno un museo... Prezzo entrata per visitare entrambi? Gratis... merita veramente una visita; aperto il venerdì pomeriggio invece sabato e domenica tutto il giorno. Unica pecca: ci vorrebbe un bar e magari una pizzeria, c'è un circolo ma è sempre chiuso.

Posticino molto bello, ingresso libero per salire sulla torre dove la vista é mozzafiatta e visita del museo. Siamo stati accolti con molta gentilezza da Maria. Raccomandiamo una fermata a Castello Larciano !

It was open on a weekend and as we were the only ones there the lady showed us a translated message in English that we had to climb up the many stairs and open the hatch to enable to us to get access for the views. It was worth it for the beautiful views of the Tuscan countryside. There is a museum there however we didn't go to it. This was a free visit.

Veramente una piacevole sorpresa. Il piccolo borgo è molto carino e ben tenuto e c'è un grande silenzio. In centro c'è la piazzetta principale con qualche posto auto, la chiesa e un barettino del circolo aperto solo il sabato sera, da quello che ho letto nei fogli fuori dall' ingresso. C'è poi il castello con possibilità di salire in cima alla torre da cui si gode un bellissimo panorama e il piccolo museo archeologico localizzato nei sotterranei. Tutto ad ingresso gratuito. Un' oretta per la visita è sufficiente.
