Pepe is a true gem. He has so much passion for what he does and is so inspiring. This is not your typical restaurant experience. Of course, all of the food was amazing (and unique), but everything was done with so much love and attention to detail. I am so happy we found this restaurant on our drive and highly recommend going!

Personal host, traditional atmosphere, and just the most beautiful food you can think of, all for a rather fair price. Try the chocolate dessert. 10/10!

The best food I have ever had. Peper is genius, everything we had was to die for. Highly recommend trying it. The building is full history too.

Awesome place, Pepe, the owner, who also mans the grill is an awezome dude who makes your mouth water when he describes his coulinary creations. Located in a beautiful 500 year old building that has an ancient cave dug underneath it that at one time served as a secret well complex to store collected rainwater through the dry season and for other purposes that he will tell you about. Definitely worth a detour on your way to Madrid from Spains eastern coast. The food will not disappoint, Pepe will grill your stake to perfection exactly the way you want it. Next time we re in the area, we will definitely come back for anothervisit.

I was totally amazed by the chef. He is so passionate about his food and technique. Would love to come back more. I gave the highest recommendations to my friends and they enjoyed as well. He earned my highest respect. Would be a big fan if he has his own Youtube channel even I hardly understand Spanish

Super nice restaurant with embedded cave and museum, so pretty! Food was ok, but at high price for small portions, it has been a challenge choosing some to share within our group. The chef has been lovely and gave us a free visit in the cave, and the violinist incredible, but I can’t give 4 stars because the rest of staff service was very slow and I didn’t feel welcomed

It was a pleasant surprise to find this restaurant on my way back to Madrid. The artichokes were delicious. Very good service. You can visit the museum and some caves under the restaurant.

An place to have a special gastronomy experience. Plates are not too big so it gets a bit pricey, but this is well justified by the exceptional quality of the food. The best duck I ever tried. Some of the best croquettes I ever tried. Very pleasant and passionate owner. Pleasant and special atmosphere.
