Delicious! Great food, I got the croissant with avocado and egg and was really nice and fresh. Croissant was perfect. Service and atmosphere excellent too. Perfect place for a nice coffee with sweets and specialty sandwiches.

Went couple of times just to see if my hunch was correct. I don’t know if it is mistake in the cashier or was done kinda on purpose. I ordered breakfast (omelette with 3 ingredients) it is 3150 if I recall correctly. But once you pay they add in the bill “additional 3” for extra 1050, so like you had 6 ingredients. Once I pointed her attention to it, first she tried to explain that it is correct, so I asked for the menu and showed her, so she refunded me the money. I told her yesterday was same thing, and she replied “I don’t know what was yesterday” (she was the same cashier/manager who gave me the bill). Also, they put the prices, but add service and vat on top (very American) though I have no doubt the service doesn’t go to the waitstaff. The food is overall ok (I just had the omelette), the coffee is pretty bland. The service is quite inattentive. I sat at the table and it had many food crumbs on it, they just put the napkins and cutlery on top… I asked for water, got a response but never received the water. I think the place has a lot of potential, but not much competition in the area, so they don’t really try anymore. Too bad.

The patisserie and sweets are good, many to choose from! Had breakfast but disliked the croque madame, the eggs Benedict on croissant were better. We are coffee lovers so we were also disappointed by the coffee, we love when we can have breakfast with good specialty coffee. The restaurant is nice, good atmosphere and terrace. It gets pretty crowded on weekends but they have parking options

It was simply DE LI CIOUS!! Sadly, waiters took for ever to come to your table to order... apart from that, extremely good... Fresh baked croissants, amazing bakery... Loved it!

At this place you will feel like moving to a cozy cafe in France. All pastry looks just amazing. The croissant with eggs benedict (and salmon) was perfect.

Cute cafe that was walking distance to the Airbnb we were staying at. The coffee was just what I needed to feed my caffeine addiction 😂 the food was good. I honestly don’t remember the name of what I ordered but it was like a ham, egg and cheese with an over easy egg on top. There were a lot is pastries that looked amazing, I plan to go back and get some. The service was great and the prices were reasonable.

The pastries and fresh bread are amazing. The croque Madame and croquet monsieur don’t have quality ham. Exercise your patience if you get here around coffee time as it will be full.

If you are fond of french pastry and sweet treats you will be happy here. Café St. Honoré offers classic french sweet and savoury pastries such as Chaussons aux Pommes, Paris- Brest, Tartes aux fromage, Meringues, Macarons, Eclaires et Pains aux raisins. The quality of their products is exceptionally good. It's as good as the one you can find in the best bakeries and pastry shops in France so you will not miss nothing from them! In my opinion Café St. Honoré well worth a visit...or more!

This French Bakery was a delight. The pastries were beautifully displayed and absolutely delicious. I had the best tuna sandwich on a crescent. It was not drowning in mayo. We went back several times during our stay in Cosa Rica. I would highly recommend a visit when in San Jose, CR.

We love the food how ever the cuatomer service of the waiter that we got was horrible. I have never being ignore/literally GHOSTED …. My daughter asked multiple time for something and as if she did not exist . If only they understood that she was the reason why we where there. Im happy eat at home a simple egg and toast but her she is the one that wants to try new things and simple the worst service … from our waiter… from the other girls all perfect bu our waiter… was on an other planet.

Best breakfast in San José. It isn't typical costarican food, but it is amazing sandwiches, croissant and you must go on weekend and order French toast, delicious. The place is really clean and the people are very nice. Coffee is a hit or miss but when it's good it's excellent

This place was excellent. It was 4 min walk from my AirBnb. The people are nice and welcoming. The croissants were delicious and toasted just right. I know next time to get the fruit plate.

St Honore at 📍 @cafe_st.honore Rating: 🤩🤩 Delicious & will go back again Thoughts 💭 The moccacino was fantastic and whatever this cream cake we order was so delicious. The pastry combined with the chantilly cream flavour was amazing. We will 100% return on our next visit. Reviews by @thefoodiestraveldiary

Lovely place for breakfast. Saw them on a YouTube video and it's definitely better in person. Place was very busy, we went on a Sunday at 10:30 a.m. Not sure if they take reservations, but if they do I would make one. The food was excellent and the best coffee I've had in CR. Service was very good and everyone in our group was very pleased.

I had the smoked salmon croissant sandwich, multiple pastries, and a cappuccino... They were all perfectly delicious. This place has a nice atmosphere, but more importantly great food. I recommend this place, and I would definitely come back here again. Everything on display looks so scrumptious, I wish I had bigger stomach to eat all of it. 😂

Very nice cake shop, a lot to choose. Crowded, I think they have to control how many people is inside the store, to keep safe customers and employees. I did a mistake with photo that uploaded, but it is the place were we stayed for a short time, we bought and we were happy and satisfied with the products, just the issue of how crowded was there. My opinion is just one more...

Great place. High quality French pastries and food. Good prices. Pleasant ambience except for some of the customers. The occassional sprinkling of spoiled customers must be a real challenge to the owners and staff. I feel sorry to see them put so much effort into having an incredibly nice place only to have whining customers and their untrained yelping toy dogs spoil it. I am a big fan of trained, well-behaved dogs in shops and restaurants -- trained and well behaved ones. What can you do? C'est la vie!

I craved for over 10 months to be back in Costa Rica to be able to eat here.. I L.OV.E!!! this place.. my standard order is Cafe con leche, jugo Naranja, and the croque madame.. Words can't describe the experience here.. Right now my kids are in jamaica and australia craving for some st honore. I also get their crossaints and sandwiches 'to go', each time I visit.. As additional add ons, their almond crossaints are insane, and so many other items and in particular pastries to choose from... A MUST do, if in San Jose, CR
