There were 3 other cafes we considered going to, but ended up going to Cafe Beam instead due to the high reviews and aesthetic place, however, it wasn't a pleasant experience when we visited. 1. Ambience - I originally went there to read but I cannot do that since it was crowded and noisy, not sure how they can manage the noise but maybe improve on the music and/or playlist? There were also flies indoors. Also, we arrived during the afternoon around 3pm but it was very hot inside the cafe, not sure if the ac was working. 2. Price - we expected it to be on the pricier side based on the reviews but the V60 was very expensive compared to the other coffee shops we've been to. 3. Taste - bland. We ordered a V60 and an iced cafe americano. V60 was not according to the taste notes mentioned when we ordered and it wasn't served in a server as what other cafes do. The americano tasted burnt. The creme brulee tart had no sweetness or taste and the torched sugar tasted burnt as well. The blueberry basque burnt cheesecake tasted okay. The only food I was happy ordering was the smores donut 4. Service - Bar area was full of staff prepping drinks but only one server attending to orders thus, making the line long. Not sure when they opened to public but they still had manual ordering system (post-its). Maybe the server was also new so she didn't know what beans are available for V60 and what taste notes it would have. If I would go back, I would just probably order smores donuts for take out and leave. There are better cafes in Bulacan.

Great food and friendly staff. I like the interior with a Scandinavian vibe. I love their shrimp and squash pasta the most. We also tried their dark hazelnut over ice and frappe. Their food are all great but a bit pricey if you're on a budget. Will definitely come back!

This place has a great ambiance with its clean and minimalist design. Nice place to study or just hang out with friends. We ordered coffee, pastries, and pasta. It was of great taste and quality albeit on the pricier side, but still worth the drive up to Baliwag!

Did not expect this place to be that good! What started out as a quick coffee grab became a "full meal" stay due to (1) Ambiance is very nice, inviting and comfortable, with commendable staffs who were very accommodating and friendly. (2) Food is very good! One surprise gem is their "croffle" which is a croissant shaped as a waffle, paired with their artisan made ice-cream made us stay over and decide to order more food for a full meal. (3) Coffee is blended well. Their menu is friendly for casual coffee drinkers while also includes special espresso brews for coffee enthusiasts. We ordered the iced salted caramel coffee and the white mocha frappe, and can say that they definitely delivered! It's unfortunate that they only have branches in Bulacan, which would be an effort to come back to this awesome place. I hope someday they could expand somewhere here in Metro Manila as this coffee joint is definitely something worth checking out!

Their minimalist interior gives the entire restaurant that relaxing, spacious, and clean vibes. The foods are surprisingly affordable and delicious plus their staffs are super nice and attentive. I am looking forward to our next visit with hopefully a new and improved menu board.

Amarena sour (amaretto sour). You can clearly see the 3 large tube of ice which gets in the way while drinking. The drink was filled to the brim and the waiter even spilled it. The mix was good but they could have used a different cup.

The place is very aesthetic and instagrammable! I have ordered the steamed Salmon with rice and I requested it to fry and they did! I love the coffee and the ambiance. All and all me and my friend enjoyed our talks.

3.5/5 Cafe Beam is a hidden gem in Bulacan with minimalistic decor, chill ambience, and great coffee. The staff were friendly and service was efficient. The food was alright though.

Really good food! Must try their creamy udon pastas and smoothies. Very good coffee and the crew are kind and easy to talk to. It's specialty is their croffles: lightly sweet croissants as waffles. Try it best with their ice cream offerings.

Picturesque cafe. Good use of natural light. Cozy interiors set up a very relaxing yet uplifting mood. Good coffee and pastries, as well as some Japanese inspired light dishes. Recommend the beam latte and the flaky pastries

We went to Cafe Beam for my post birthday celebration. The place was nice and the ambiance is very chill. I ordered non coffee based drink which is Strawberry Milk and I have to say, IT WAS EXCELLENT! The only thing that I was disappointed is when we ordered pastries but the taste was not satisfying. Strawberry Shortcake and Strawberry Tart was very awful. Croissant was super dry and very flaky but their Matcha Greent Tea Cheesecake is to die for. All in all, experience is still great.

Chill small joint. Don't mistake it though as small cafe, it makes it up for their food. Damn, it's delicious. This in the picture made me remember it's great to be alive 😅. Note that the parking is limited and the space inside. So plan your visit during off peak hours.
