This was our go to restaurant while staying at IHG, their pizzas were so good. Other food we ate was average, their cocktails were disappointing. The staff were relatively attentive to our orders, on few occasions our orders were sent to someone else, seemed like they were understaffed and needed more staff on the ground. The restaurant and bar was by the pool which made it convenient after your swim to grab something to eat. Overall not a bad place, but not good either. Could be better with food and service.

Quick Review: 8.5/10 Drinks: The drinks I got to say were very creative and was very tasty. Its flagship drinks dare I say are the Pink Coconut and East & West, which are both very tasty tropical cocktails. East & West is a mixture of passionfruit and mango with a vodka base. Pink Coconut has a great fruity mix and its very harde to describe but whats easy to convey is how delicious it was. Toba is a place to have a good time, with great service and food. I would highly reccomend the Braised Beef Rib. The rib it self is amazing and melts in your mouth, cooked to perfection. The coselaw it comes with however is not the best and does not really suit it, I suggest the classic caesar salad as a side dish. I also reccomend the truffle fries, just out of pure curiosity it was ordered. Our first impression of how it looked was pure anticipation and when we tried it was amazing, full of flavour and when you combined it with its side sauces it was great. The cassava bravas was also an amazing dish and was very filling but it hit the spot. The polynesian burger was also great, but it was unfortunately messy and difficult to eat without getting a bit hands-on. The shawarma was a dissapointment and lacked a combination flavour due to its overbearing garlic sauce, it was also very messy to eat. The Bolognaise was ok, there was nothing speacil about it. The kokoda was salty and was a small portion of fish but jusy also the dish it self was small. Service: (best for last) Just amazing, nothing bad at all

The best resteraunt on the resort, even better than the so called fine dining one. This is not black tie affair but good food, beautiful view and excellent service.

We dined twice at Toba Bar & Grill which is situated in the middle of the resort and the more family-oriented venue of the choices available. I guess you could say it is more like a "pub meal" with a Fijian twist but a step above from what you'd get at your local watering hole back home. We had pizza both nights and they were very tasty with a crispy crust and not overloaded with toppings as a pizza can often be. We also ordered the buttermilk chicken and spicy chicken tacos that were delicious….especially the buttermilk chicken! Toba also has a guitarist with an amazing voice! He catered to his audience and even threw in a couple of kids songs to keep them entertained (Baby Shark, doo-doo, doo-doo, doo-doo!) Although not open for breakfast, Toba is open for lunch and dinner and has an extensive menu to cater for just about everyone. We were told the gluten free options were delicious!

Definitely a fun spot to have dinner, great views and atmosphere with the infinity pool overlooking the ocean and live music. Service is super quick and the menu is large but not too large. Dined multiple nights and my favorite was the mushroom penne pasta in a cream sauce with porcini dust/ salt. Looked the least fancy, tasted the best. The drinks are great and all food and drink can also be brought out to you in your personal cabana by scanning the QR code. Awesome features and used multiple times. Butter chicken could have and should have been a lot spicier, looked great but was beyond mild. I should have asked if they could make spicier, mild at most restaurants I’ve been to are spicier. Otherwise awesome awesome place to eat.

We were quite disappointed. The cocktails were not good. The food was quite bad for a vegetarian. The pizza was too thick and undercooked. The heart healthy burger had a strange smell. The chole potato with roti didn’t have any salt. The veg taco tasted terrible. Location and service were good. But, overall, not the standard we were expecting.

I had the vegetarían tacos (2 pieces) with Tofu and beans. It was very yummy. Would have loved a few more sweet potato chips 😃 Vegan, vegetarian and gluten-free dishes are clearly marked on the menu, which is great. They even have a raw/healthy section on the menu. Vegan dishes include truffle fries, veggie tacos, cauliflower salad, veggie poke bowl, eggplant rigatoni, zucchini spaghetti or stir-fried quinoa. Had a lovely day at the pool with a day pass and would come back for sure. May 2024
