We got recommend by our resort on Denarau Island to come to Natadola Beach. We paid $400FJD return for a taxi and upon arrival at the beach it was clear it was dangerous. Big waves and a sloping sea bed that drops as soon as you step into the water. We immediately went back to our driver and requested he take us back to our resort. It wasn’t worth risking the safety of our children.
Getting to the beach is a bit confusing. I suggest following signs for Yatule Resort. There are locals offering massages in the bures, horse riding is available for half beach or full beach rides. I believe half beach horse ride is $40 and full beach is $60. They have snorkelling as well. The beach is beautiful and the water is clear. Very relaxing beach.
Stunning Beach! We came for a short walk, at the Beach you will be welcomed by locals who offer you Horse Riding along the Beach or a Massage, fresh coconuts etc. If you want to go further down the road, you definitely need a 4WD but you can access the main beach without.
We visited this beach several times, there is some great snorkeling from the beach at the north end of the beach where the reef comes right up the sand. It is a locals hangout and provides lots of parking in the trees and plenty of fish to see. We found the best time was at low tide when you can snorkel along the edge of the reef.
One of the most beautiful beaches on the mainland. Best beach close to Nadi. Takes about an hour to get here from Nadi, but totally worth it. It’s easier to get directions if you put in one of the resorts into your maps- Yatule or intercontinental. Pristine blue waters with some wild waves, so be careful. There’s a sand bank that surfaces on the intercontinental side during low tide, if you see it, don’t miss a chance to go there! There’s tide pools terming with miniature marine life in there and looks surreal.
Gorgeous sandy beach with just two hotels, but also still a public beach — for locals and visitors. Great for a stroll, swimming and enjoying marine life in the tide pools.
Beautiful beach, you ll be greated by a local who offers horse ride, massage and coconut. I enjoyed a walk and took some photos. There were not much coconut trees though.
Nice beach. Hard to get to, road was closed. Had to figure out a work around
