Choti baradari gardens is a place in front of Baradari palace which was residence of Emperor Rajinder Singh. He brought rare species of trees and flowers from different places and planted them in this garden. The big fruit trees the Fern House and the Rock Garden shows his interest towards nature

“LUNGS OF PATIALA” This monicker perfectly describes Baradari Garden in Patiala. Huge open green, peaceful place for morning and evening walks. Added attraction is the chirping of birds which has just about gone extinct in our concrete jungle of the city. Hugely popular for songs and film shoots of Pollywood and Bollywood. You can find innumerable species of flora in the vast space. As the name suggests this garden had 12 entrances. Parking available at many entrances. Rides and games available for children. Hugely popular in Sunday’s’ and holidays. Open air gym is also very popular with all age groups. But it needs regular maintenance. Some of the equipment are not in proper working order. Cafeteria and clean toilets available. Must visit place in the summers. There is a marked difference in atmospheric temperature as you enter this garden

One of the best places in Patiala to spend time alone or with your family. One can go there for morning evening walks, exercise, study....or for just time pass....it is just next to Kali Mata Mandir and Pir Di Dargah!!!!...

A heritage garden of Patiala. Nice to walk around here and relax. There are many trees and flowers along with places to sit. There is also an exercise corner, yoga corner, and kids place. Many old statues can't be find anymore. These days the garden lacks upkeep and maintenance. Hope to see its stunning glory back.

Baradari Garden in Patiala is a captivating blend of history and serenity that left me enchanted during my recent visit. The garden's name, derived from its 12-door pavilion, hints at the regal past it holds. Stepping inside, I was immediately drawn to the symmetry of its layout and the grandeur of its structures, offering a glimpse into a bygone era. The well-maintained pathways wind through lush greenery, offering perfect spots to unwind and admire nature's beauty. The central water body, adorned with fountains, provides a picturesque focal point, attracting families, couples, and photographers alike. While the garden's historical significance and landscaping are admirable, some areas could use more care. However, the overall experience is delightful, transporting you to a peaceful haven. Whether you're a history aficionado, a nature enthusiast, or seeking a retreat from city life, Baradari Garden is a must-visit. Its charm and tranquility make it an ideal escape to unwind and rejuvenate, evoking a sense of connection with the past.

One of the best part of my town. I just can not stop appreciating the importance of having such open and green space in a town. So much memory is associated with park, when my sone just started walking I used to take home there and we used to run, walk, play hide and seek. In recent years there is a decline in the maintenance of the park, the fountains are completely changed and i also haven't seen working/running. The horticulture department is also not maintaining the flower pots and it's nearby garden. It saddens me sometimes... But over all i still think Baradari Garden 🏡 is the heart of Patiala

A good nature experience with a clean and fresh environment. Can visit this place for a family evening picnic. Also, children can play here safely without any risk factors and there are paid swings and rides for children here at affordable prices. An amazing place for a workout, walk, jogging etc. both morning and evening. There is gym apparatus installed in this garden for those who love to do intense workout which can be accessed free of cost. There are great backgrounds views and locations for photoshoot and video making.

Good leisure place to go to. Preferably better in mornings if you're going for a serious walk or run; Otherwise during day time it's a picnic spot and during evenings, it's a strolling spot for youngsters.
